    Pad Thai and Orange Chicken
    Mya B.

Got a take out order of Pad Thai and Orange Chicken - was a little surprised that the orange chicken didn't come with a side of rice. When I went to pick it up, I had to wait 5 minutes while staring at my bag of food on the counter while the waiter put in everyone else's order and ignored me. Getting the food, there were no utensils or napkins provided. The chicken was dry and hard, very much like day old take out rather than fresh. Pad Thai was also very bland, no peanut toppings and dry like the chicken. Would not go back.

Solid Thai restaurant that has done a wonderful job of keeping their customers happy with a variety of favorites from soups to curries to a delicious fried fish with a heavy garlic sauce. The small order of tom kha was barely enough for one person, so I suggest ordering a large if you intend to share. The crispy duck curry was fine, but not as crispy as one might think. They let us adjust the spice to accommodate some in our party who liked things mild, while I prefer food on the spicy side. This is probably the most reliable Thai food in Whittier hands down.

Great food, great service and lovely ambiance. All in our party were happy with their meal selection. We will definitely be back!

This standalone thai spot is located next to a Vons plaza so parking is easy. When you first walk in, the place is nicely decorated and looks like a great family or date spot. I ordered chrysanthemum tea and thai tea for drinks. I got calamari as an appetizer, khao soi from the limited menu, and pad see ew. All tasted yummy, but the calamari was on the chewier/less fried side. The khao soi came with noodles and a rich curry flavor. Pad see ew came with a lot of chicken. Service was friendly and often came to check on us & refill water. Pretty decent spot for thai in the area.

We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time. Several other restaurants share a large parking lot in this shopping plaza connected to the Whittwood Town Center. The ambience looks modern with a long table for big parties in the middle of the restaurant and a bar to another side. We got seated quickly, and the staff checked in on us all throughout our meal. We got the pad see ew with pork ($16.99), panang curry with pork ($16.99), orange chicken ($18.99), and fried banana ($8.99). The food was a little pricy, and the portions looked a bit small. However, we all seemed to have enough to eat. For the prices charged, I do wish the portions were bigger so that we could bring leftovers home. We also got two large bowls of rice each for $5. The rice from the second was a little too watery for my tastes. Our dessert had a good-sized portion with bits of coconut inside. The pad see ew came with pieces of grilled pork and only a little broccoli. I thought the noodles mostly tasted good, but the flavor had a little too much oyster sauce. The orange chicken tasted very flavorful and had a nice crisp. Each piece was large. The panang curry had a good amount of spice to it although we asked for it mild. Regardless, the dish had a great mix of savory and sweet flavors. I enjoyed how the Thai basil garnished the curry. The service here is outstanding. Staff members here stayed on top of refilling our drinks. There were times in which they offered refills even though our glasses were more than halfway full. It would be nice to come back again with different dishes.

Went for a company lunch. I got the drunken noodle with avocado rolls and cream cheese wontons. The noodles were very tasty and the peanut sauce for the avocado rolls were delicious. I wanted more of the sauce. The service was very quick and attentive.

Thai lime Mojito and a glass of Malbec

Super friendly service! We were nearby and walked by this restaurant and couldn't stop exclaiming how delicious it smelled, so we decided to call mom, let her know that we would be late, and come in and eat here first! It's a busy restaurant with a lot of different tables, but they have a nice bar, wine, some Asian cocktails, some Soju, and some margaritas and Mojitos My honey ordered a Thai Lime Mojito, and I had a glass of Malbec. Both were good...the wine was as expected but that Mojito was spectacularly!!!! We ordered the pineapple curry with shrimp, a small garlic, rice, and the eggplant's lover (because we're sappy like that). Wow! This place is a little pricey, but now I know why. The food is absolutely wonderful! The pineapple curry is delicious. The sauce is thick and creamy, lots of vegetables, and we ordered it with shrimp and they were plenty of shrimp in this dish. But I also like is that it's not a huge dish so we each ordered a dish and we're able to share and we don't have a ton of leftovers. We do not have room in our refrigerator for another box of leftovers, let's face it if you go out to eat, you do not have room in your refrigerator for 20 more boxes of leftovers.!!!! The Eggplant's Lover is a wonderful vegetarian dish. Beautiful, bright colored vegetables, and large chunks, not too mushy overcooked, but crisp, soft and delicious. It has a really good flavored garlic forward sauce, and also has some tofu in it for those vegetarians. The combination most exciting, absolutely orgasmic dish for me was... Drumroll, please... A bowl of small garlic rice. Yep, that was it, that rice is an orgasm, waiting to happen. Just saying! If you like garlic, and your rice lover, get the plain old garlic rice, cause damn, that is good. ! I don't think we have room for dessert, but if I did, I'd try the sticky rice with mango. This place is a total duo over, even though it's a little pricey for Thai food. I mean, it's pretty, it's friendly, it's close by, it's delicious, and they had space for two immediately! What more do I want????

We came here for New Year's Day and the place was packed. Despite the wait we got our food pretty quickly. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was flavorful. The pace looked nicely decorated with a cabin feel.

this place is amazing. always our go to thai place and deserves more hype. the tom yum soup is my favorite, and the thai tea with boba is so good. also asking for chili oil makes it better. very quick and its quiet family friendly and comfortable.

This place always hits. Ordered the new iced green tea, amazing taste for just four bucks. Yellow curry, with a side of white rice. And the drunken noodles is a perfect combo for two. If your into crispy chicken, they have a great chicken wing appetizer which is crunchy on the outside, tender in the middle, and glazed with a spicy honey sauce...soo good! This place is perfect for any party from 1 person to 20 people. There is literally a long table with high chairs that seats 20, super cool for a big party.

Been coming here for months now and it's one of the best Thai places I have ever been too. Phenomenal service every time me and my girlfriend has been here and the food is amazing. The Pad Thai is amazing and the pineapple fried rice is full of flavor. I would highly recommend getting these two entrees with maybe the wings or another appetizer they have. The Thai coffee and Thai tea is always very good and was a pleasure to have. Always love dinning in here as it's very nice inside and very clean with an amazing interior. Thai table is full of life and would always recommend if you're craving Thai food !

The waiter tall mexican guy Wallin? cut open our coconut perfectly! Ask for him if you order the fresh coconut!

Fantastic service and delicious food!! The tall Mexican waiter, I think his name is Wallin? Will perfectly open your coconut for you!!! He is wonderful!!

I returned here after a few years and wasn't as impressed with the quality and taste of the food since my previous visits. I didn't get photos of everything but we ordered a beef jerky type appetizer (good flavor but not tender), ordered the pad see ew which was not as flavorful as I remembered. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen but it wasn't my best visit. The service was good and the ambiance is always comfortable and not loud. It's a quaint place. I'mp not in a rush to return but will probably make my way back someday.

    Is there a kids menu?

    No.

I seem to remember that they had lunch specials. Do they still have them? I didn't see any on the menu in the pictures or on the website.

Yes they still have lunch specials

    Can we make reservations?

Reservations can be made for groups of 6 or more

Is there a new owner. The food has definitely changed?

No, still the same crew and owner 👌

Do they have any keto dishes?

I want to say it's limited. But we did have some excellent avocado wraps for appetizers. That's an option!

    Do they offer patio-dining now?

    Yes

    Thai soup with vegetables?

Could be Tom Yum, lemon grass soup which is translucent. Tom Kah which is coconut & a white color. Most of their food can come as a vegan or veggie option.

What are the lunch special hours? And on what days?

Lunch specials are every Monday-Friday 11-2:30 with the exception of holidays. But they stop seating 30 minutes before closing

The Lunch Special came with the entree, rice, salad, and an egg roll. The Pad See Ew was delicious, I wish it had a little more protein. But the flavor was on point. I asked for the cream on the side and they gave it to me in Dixie sample cup the size of quarter. I ordered the spicy basil pork with no bell peppers and to substitute carrots instead. She came back and said it would be an additional $2.00 charge for carrots. I said, it is a vegetable, yes? She said, "do you want it or not?" Hmmmm, I said "sure"... and then mumbled, "but it's coming out of your tip." And they charge extra for steamed rice which should come with the meal ($3.00) Then I asked for a little side of sweet and sour sauce and she said... "that will be $2.00..." I shit you not. The tip will be zero. Food wasn't even that good. AVOID. ----------------------------- THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: Ok, let's be real... I'll give you the full review which I was holding back and being nice.... First of all, carrots are WAY cheaper than bell peppers (BY A MILE), so why am I paying two dollars to swap them in? If anything, It should be less, not more!!! That $6.50 Thai iced tea was a full glass of ice with maybe an inch of tea on top. For real. That's a cheap ass tactic and you know it. LAME. The cream came in a dentist office medicine cup the size of a quarter. After learning that the carrots were going to cost me an extra $2, I figured more cream would probably set me back a few bucks as well so I passed on asking for more. Every single other Thai restaurant experience I've ever had in my lifetime of eating out has been to hand over a little sweet and sour sauce without charging two bucks for it. I'm not asking for a glass full. It's a small little sample FFS. $2.00???? Really??? Are you that hard up?? You must be because there was only one other table eating there. And three dollars for rice that should come with the dish? That's not policy, that's called greed. Yes, I finished my dish... not out of enjoyment, but out of sheer hunger. The dish was swimming in liquid and I ordered a 4 out of 5 spice level and it felt like a 2. Sorry, your business model sucks. $30 for lunch? Screw that. That was a $15 meal that you charged double for. You'll be out of business in no time.

Crab omelette fried rice: the best dish of the night! The crab and omelette are nicely cooked, not overly salty. The rice to egg+crab ratio is great. It is not spicy, the seasoning is just right. I highly recommend this. Mango sweet sticky rice: not bad, just alright. We think the sticky rice is too soft and soggy, not chewy enough. The coconut milk is served on the side so you can pour it based on your preference. The mango is perfectly ripened, very sweet. Tom Yum Noodle Soup with seafood: our least favorite dish. The noodle is very soggy, there's really no texture to it. I know there's the word "noodles" in their name, but we definitely do not remember this noodle option at all. The tom yum soup was not great either, the spiciness is way too strong, so you can't taste much of the sourness. The seafood variety was ok, there are shrimps, fish fillets, mussels, squid, and fish balls. The texture of the squids and fish fillets tasted a bit weird. Their service was nice though we got sorted at a corner, so we had a hard time getting the staff's attention. The restaurant has a very unique decorations. There are a lot of figurines, pictures and statues. Overall, their dishes are either really good or the complete opposite, not sure if I would want to go back again.
