Came here with my husband and son to celebrate our anniversary. Ordered chicken wings, pad see ewe with beef, and khao soi with chicken. Chicken wings - 5/5 - crispy, flavorful; no notes. My son chomped them down! Khao soi - 5/5 - this was my husband's dish so I had a little bowl to try. It was definitely flavor and a good palate cleanse for my pad see ewe. The flavor was strong, soup was creamy, and noodles were ideal. The only downside was being told the beef was $8 extra? Crazy! Pad see ewe - 4/5 - it was on the sweet side and a bit too saucy for my liking. I also wish there was more egg to balance out the textures a bit more but I did love the amount of beef in it. Food and Service have gone down hill fast! I've been coming here for ages with my family and in last few years we have noticed the food quality/taste getting worse. Green Currey Tofu, Chicken, Padh Thai. Some days were a hit and some days were a miss but now it is a constant MISS. To top it off we came in around 8pm, ordered, and they got 3 of our dishes worng, (no bamboo shoots, egg plant, etc) wasn't much of a ask. The worst part is we naturally started to dig in to the food then let the waitress know about the messed up order. So the Manager came in took the same dishes back and removed the items from that dish and gave it back?! Really? Who does that? I actually had to beg for a complete new dish. In the end as we were packing the manager said she would take off 15% from the messed up dish (this probably would be removed completely anywhere else.) As we were packing up our food I told the manager It would be sensible to just remove the dish from the bill so then she actually took the dish that we were packing back with her???!!!! Got a take out order of Pad Thai and Orange Chicken - was a little surprised that the orange chicken didn't come with a side of rice. When I went to pick it up, I had to wait 5 minutes while staring at my bag of food on the counter while the waiter put in everyone else's order and ignored me. The small order of tom kha was barely enough for one person, so I suggest ordering a large if you intend to share. The crispy duck curry was fine, but not as crispy as one might think. They let us adjust the spice to accommodate some in our party who liked things mild, while I prefer food on the spicy side. I ordered chrysanthemum tea and thai tea for drinks. I got calamari as an appetizer, khao soi from the limited menu, and pad see ew. All tasted yummy, but the calamari was on the chewier/less fried side. The khao soi came with noodles and a rich curry flavor. Pad see ew came with a lot of chicken. We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time. Several other restaurants share a large parking lot in this shopping plaza connected to the Whittwood Town Center. The ambience looks modern with a long table for big parties in the middle of the restaurant and a bar to another side. We got seated quickly, and the staff checked in on us all throughout our meal. We got the pad see ew with pork ($16.99), panang curry with pork ($16.99), orange chicken ($18.99), and fried banana ($8.99). The food was a little pricy, and the portions looked a bit small. However, we all seemed to have enough to eat. For the prices charged, I do wish the portions were bigger so that we could bring leftovers home. We also got two large bowls of rice each for $5. The rice from the second was a little too watery for my tastes. Our dessert had a good-sized portion with bits of coconut inside. The pad see ew came with pieces of grilled pork and only a little broccoli. I thought the noodles mostly tasted good, but the flavor had a little too much oyster sauce. The orange chicken tasted very flavorful and had a nice crisp. Each piece was large. The panang curry had a good amount of spice to it although we asked for it mild. Regardless, the dish had a great mix of savory and sweet flavors. I enjoyed how the Thai basil garnished the curry. The service here is outstanding. Staff members here stayed on top of refilling our drinks. There were times in which they offered refills even though our glasses were more than halfway full. We were nearby and walked by this restaurant and couldn't stop exclaiming how delicious it smelled, so we decided to call mom, let her know that we would be late, and come in and eat here first! It's a busy restaurant with a lot of different tables, but they have a nice bar, wine, some Asian cocktails, some Soju, and some margaritas and Mojitos My honey ordered a Thai Lime Mojito, and I had a glass of Malbec. Both were good...the wine was as expected but that Mojito was spectacularly!!!! We ordered the pineapple curry with shrimp, a small garlic, rice, and the eggplant's lover (because we're sappy like that). Wow! This place is a little pricey, but now I know why. The food is absolutely wonderful! The pineapple curry is delicious. The sauce is thick and creamy, lots of vegetables, and we ordered it with shrimp and they were plenty of shrimp in this dish. But I also like is that it's not a huge dish so we each ordered a dish and we're able to share and we don't have a ton of leftovers. We do not have room in our refrigerator for another box of leftovers, let's face it if you go out to eat, you do not have room in your refrigerator for 20 more boxes of leftovers.!!!! The Eggplant's Lover is a wonderful vegetarian dish. Beautiful, bright colored vegetables, and large chunks, not too mushy overcooked, but crisp, soft and delicious. It has a really good flavored garlic forward sauce, and also has some tofu in it for those vegetarians. The combination most exciting, absolutely orgasmic dish for me was... Drumroll, please... A bowl of small garlic rice. Yep, that was it, that rice is an orgasm, waiting to happen. Just saying! If you like garlic, and your rice lover, get the plain old garlic rice, cause damn, that is good. ! I don't think we have room for dessert, but if I did, I'd try the sticky rice with mango. Been coming here for months now and it's one of the best Thai places I have ever been too. Phenomenal service every time me and my girlfriend has been here and the food is amazing. The Pad Thai is amazing and the pineapple fried rice is full of flavor. I would highly recommend getting these two entrees with maybe the wings or another appetizer they have. I didn't get photos of everything but we ordered a beef jerky type appetizer (good flavor but not tender), ordered the pad see ew which was not as flavorful as I remembered. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen but it wasn't my best visit. The service was good and the ambiance is always comfortable and not loud. It's a quaint place. Thai Table used to be so good about 4-5 years ago and the quality of the food has just gone downhill. We picked up food from there for Mother's Day and everything tasted so bad. The veggie rolls were so oily, the drunken noodles were very mid and lacked flavor, there was something off about the pineapple fried rice, it tasted like curry powder. The tom kha soup was okay, not bad, but I've had much better. We ended up not finishing the food and throwing it away. I don't think they can use a busy Mother's Day dinner service as an excuse for the horrible food. If anything the food they serve on Mother's Day should be above their usual standards in my opinion. So sad because this was the only decent Thai restaurant close to us and now we will need to look for a new one. read more

First off, customer service is usually pretty good. They acknowledge you respectfully when you enter, unlike a lot of establishments these days. I got my usual beef pad thai, and I have to say that their packaging is great at keeping the food HOT. However, the meat quality reminded me of dry pork chops or rubbery chicken. I should have just ordered shrimp or maybe ordered a lunch special or something, because I felt the quality was a bit lacking from previous visits. I feel like my body did not digest the food well, but I would definitely give them another chance because it's a promising restaurant. read more

This was my first visit to Thai Table at Whittier and enjoyed it. I'm a huge fan and advocate supporting family owned, local businesses. The hostess was very welcoming. Our party of 8, with no reservation, was quickly seated. There is an outdoor seating area for more privacy but we opted to seat inside front and center of the venue. The restaurant do offer dozen choices of lunch specials, including one entrée and 2 side dishes, which was surprisingly good! I love the avocado rolls. We ordered from a few items off the main menu -- crab fried rice ... and were a bit disappointed on high cost. The order took longer than normal to bring out so had to pack that item to-go. The Thai iced coffee was okay, not as strong, as I would like. What i like and think it's unique is the presentation. Only thing I would change is I went with a spice level 2 as I didn't know how heavy they are on spice, but they are light compared to what I'm used to. I would definitely get a 3 next time! I'm not from the area and were invited here for lunch and after enjoying our delicious food my wife and I were already planning to go back soon. This afternoon I went to Thai table with some of my friends from work. The service was impeccable, and our waitress was so kind and teased us about how spicy we wanted our food. The food was absolutely amazing! I tried the drunken noodles that I've never had before and I had them with a 4 on spiciness and it was just right! My friends got the golden curry, which they loved, and one got the pad Thai, which she really enjoyed. They had the avocado rolls spring rolls which were yummy in the peanut sauce and the Thai tea was delicious because I'm lactose intolerant, but they made it with almond milk. Tried the drunken noodles with chicken. Tasted great and full of flavor. Was a small plate for the price of the dish. Ordered the fried wontons, it said it had chicken in it, however, it looked and tasted just like wonton skin. The sweet & sour sauce was delicious. The service was great, the staff were very attentive and checked on us often. The restaurant was quiet and decorated beautifully and had a good vibe/atmosphere.
