This was a really good place to come. There's some parking around the corner as well as on the street. Very accessible and walkable area. Decorated nicely, and can't wait to return in the winter when it will give off cozy vibes. Had the garlic chicken - so good! Crispy garlic chicken was a hit as well, it's very crispy and flavored well. Fried rice was delish, along with the mango shrimp. Similar to sweet and sour but more sweet and well balanced. Chicken satay skewers were a little dry; the peanut sauce tasty but not too strong. Some diced cucumbers in a light vinaigrette provided a fresh contrast. The golden tiger beef was delicious and cooked medium. Not sure if I could have asked for something different but I wanted to go with the default. The dipping sauce compliments the beef and the spinach bed got scooped up as collateral damage. Quiet for Saturday dinner hours. The place has plenty of room to probably take 20-30 guests. The food was great as always, today I tried the garlic chicken and it was delicious, I asked for it well done and it was perfect, will definitely order again, my daughter had the Phad Thai and it was so tasty as well, for desert we had the sweet sticky rice with mango and it was the perfect way to finish our meal. The quality and value of the food were awful. I ordered tom yum soup. I love tom yum soup. It was not even edible. It was foul. I was embarrassed for them by the portion size of rice for the curries. The food is not only excellent, but the staff friendly, kind and hard-working with a true family spirit. The pandemic, a fire and ever-increasing rent are hard blows for this business, but we hope this fabulous restaurant will pull through. The quality of the dishes is excellent and we appreciate the fact they do not use MSG. Vegetarians can be rest assured they will be catered to with a variety of delicious options. I have written a positive review in the past about how Thai One On is very accommodating about food allergies. I love their food and order take out or delivery a few times a month. In early Feb I went to place an online order and the website said it was too early to place an order. I had placed orders around noon other times. I called them but the mailbox was full. I drove by and saw that they were closed during regular business hours and thought they were permanently closed because of COVID or recent construction that blocks street parking. FInally, the other day, I saw something posted to their front door and pulled over to see. They were victims of arson on Jan 30th and will be closed for a few months. I am so sad about the arson, but so happy that they will be back. It is my favorite local Thai restaurant and I will be counting the days. This is a review on only the food I've ordered. Absolutely delicious. Ordered from Uber eats and I'm so impressed. The fresh salad rolls (with shrimp) with the peanut sauce is amazing..the sauce is hands down one of the best I've ever had. I could be biased but the more peanut butter, the better :) Also got the chicken larb and love the idea of the spinach instead of ordinary lettuce or cabbage. I was quite surprised that this restaurant serves their lunch menu on the weekends since that is rare for a lot of restaurants. Pad Thais for $8.99 each, and it comes with a side of rice. That is also rare since Pad Thais don't usually come with rice! That's probably because it was from the lunch menu. When our food came, the rice was not actually included, but we had to ask. I think they didn't actually forget it, but don't usually get it unless someone ask. The Pad Thai wasn't that bad, I've had better, but it came with a lot. It was very filling and there were plenty to take home, especially since rice is also filling. I'm sorry but don't, so I just placed a 90 dollar order with them, I got wings which were over cooked so bad as to we're I had to rip the chicken off with my teeth in stead of the meat being so tender so that you can just suck it off the bone which is how it should be, the calamari was dry and over cooked to the point were the breading cut my mouth open, my wontons were only bread with a dime size amount of crab and cream cheese in it, my Phad Thai had no spice to it which I asked for spice and it was cold the chicken in it was also dry, I asked for to Thai teas no ice and got two iced coffee's this place is three blocks from my house and they delivered to me an hour later and all my food was cold. First time going to Thai One On and most likely not going back. I usually test for quality by ordering a simple dish Pad Thai. If you can't get that right then I am skeptical about the rest. I received my order with what looked like burnt noodles, tofu, carrots and peanuts. The only reason I finished it is because I was starving and did not have time to go back and return it. Here are the facts: Seattle is replete with Southeast Asian and East Asian influenced cuisine. Go to almost any commercial center and you'll find a Vietnamese, Thai, or Japanese restaurant - if you're lucky, there's an Indian one, too. But I digress. Given the amount of Thai competition, there's a race to be better and more upscale in ambiance. Thai One On (which is an odd name - not so great on the branding) was very high on the tastiness and good/decent on the service in a beautifully decorated restaurant. I don't think the adjacent area does the restaurant justice. Here's why it's great: (1) the pad see ew is not overly garlicy, and not overly sweet, either. It was just right. (2) thai iced tea was great (3) duck curry was medium spice (they don't lower the spice level on this dish except for a yellow curry) and extremely good. The prices are really reasonable, but rice eaters beware (and that's me of course): they charge for white rice (1.50) and brown rice (3.00). A nice touch on the ambiance was the goldfish pond and the temple-like decor. read more

Now I am normally not a fan of Thai food since they usually make dishes so spicy, and I am not fond of peanuts which is a big part of the flavors that Thai food uses, but I love the food I have had so far here! I can't vouch for how "Authentic" the food is here , nor how "Americanized" the food is because I do not have anything to compare it to, but I do like everything I have had from here. They do not make things overly hot and even the things that have peanuts in them such as the peanut sauce is good. Their portions are generous and the appetizer list is varied and numerous. I could easily get full on a few appetizers. We plan to have what we call a "nibbly Night" soon with a bunch of appetizer dishes to share between my husband and I for a date night. Their Crying Tiger Beef dish is fantastic and a MUST order - the entree comes with tender pieces of beef on a bed of spinach, sticky rice and a tangy sauce (simialr consistency as salad dressing with an awesome kick). Gal said it was on its way...wait and wait and wait call and call and call but all I got was busy signals...finally get through...order hasn't been placed at all. The spring rolls were tasty, the calamari was tasty, the Tom Kha (soup) was tasty, the curries were tasty, and I hear their desserts are delicious. The cost was a bit more than I like to pay for my Thai food, but... I guess the nicer interior (than that of most cheaper spots) and the existence of a full bar (so you're not limited to beer and wine) is worth something? The service was good. Ordered a Veggie fried Rice 3* over the phone around 12:30 and didn't check my food before I left smh..I get home to eat it & some parts of it are steaming hot while other parts are cold smh I take a look at my receipt and the receipt says Veggie Fried Rice 2* smh and it is NOT spicy at all. No crushed red peppers in the rice at all. Also I told them my name over the phone and on my receipt it says a completely different name than what I said. Weird. This was my first time eating here and it was disgusting. I will not be back. I ate a few bites then threw the rest away. I wish I can get my money back . This is what a Thai restaurant should be. Not too big, not too well-lit, and not ostentatious at all. They let the food do the talking. We were on the road and our Airbnb hostess had recommended this place. Kudos to her! My wife and I shared all of our food with each other, so I can speak for the Fresh Rolls (with prawns), the Chicken Sate, The Tom Kha (with chicken), and the Suki Soup. Each dish was spiced with just the level of heat that we'd requested; each morsel was delicious and the entire meal was utterly satisfying. I'll gladly go back next time we're in town! read more

I always park at the back 'parking lot' because street parking kinda freaks me out.. so I always enter the restaurant from the back door, which is next to the kitchen. Really love the foods specially Crying Tiger, their (strong) homemade spicy lime juice makes this dish really really good.
