Dined here and ordered their wonton appetizer and some sweet and sour chicken soup. I'll come back for sure and try other dishes on the menu. I loved the texture or their fried wontons but was disappointed at what little chicken stuffing was inside, like hardly anything. But not to worry, their tom yum soup was really tasty. I live very close to this restaurant and I come here very often, the only reason why I give it 2 stars is for the reason being that the waitress is very rude to me and my family, when our food gets here she just leaves it on the side , we ask for silverware and she makes a face, I'm not quite sure if it's only to me and my family because we do come here frequently like I said but overall the food is amazing and the prices on the lunch specials are the best in town. read more

Fried rice came out the moment I came back from the restroom (hasn't even been 5 mins since I ordered). It literally just tasted like white rice mixed with a bunch of seafood. It was so bland. I have only had food delivered from them, it has always been absolutely first rate. I order from them alot so I have had almost everything on the menu. I recommend the curries. This is a little best kept secret of a restaurant hiding in a small shopping center. The food is AMAZING! Hot right out of the kitchen. Delivery Review: I ordered for delivery and they delivered at a decent time. The chicken curry I had was beyond spicy and I wasn't a fan. It was way hotter than any curry I have ever had. Other than that the food was very delicious. The only other issue I would have is that their portions are pretty small. I order from here often not just because its down the street from my job, but because its so yummy! The woman who delivers my lunch is a sweetheart and so very friendly. The food is fresh and delivery is quick with no mix up on my order. Had the Thai pepper salad a week ago for the 1st time...have had it 2 more times since. It's delicious. Order a side of the spicy house lemon dressing and mix it with the peanut dressing it comes with trust me it is so good. I've had chicken dishes, beef dishes, and fish and shrimp dishes. I showed the waitress the picture had more items on it and she said "oh we just do that for the picture, this is what you get though when you buy it" I've never heard anything like that in my life! we gott attiudes because the waitress knew nothing of water refills, napkins, and gave attitude when we asked for chopsticks and a side sauce. They also messed our order half the times we ordered or ate there. wow not ordering from them again. We ordered delivery on a whim and are extremely happy to find this little gem! Our food came faster than promised, and every one of the 5 dishes we ordered was delicious. Kung Pao Shrimp, Pineapple Fried Rice, Spicy Eggplant, Yellow Curry, & Pad Thai. The portions are generous, the veggies are crispy, with plenty of chicken and plump fresh shrimp. We ordered takeout from here and I was hesitant because it was only 3.5 stars but we decided to go for it anyway. It's officially my new go-to thai spot. We ordered a ton: chicken pad thai, yellow curry, tofu delight, and a few others. Everything was fantastic. Honestly the best yellow curry I've ever had, and the chicken wasn't grey & funky like a lot of other thai places. They delivered super fast but we realized they forgot something. I called them back and the woman didn't even ask any questions- she apologized profusely and the forgotten item was at our door within 10 minutes. Excellent service and quality food! read more

it's aite. nothing bad but nothing really spectacular. the sate was tender and probably the best thing i order. the appetizer with won tons was pretty sorry, it was basically a dime size piece of chicken with won-ton wrapper folded over. definitely american thai, i haven't adventured with the curry or soup yet, but if you have a distinct craving and don't feel like spending that extra gallon going ot no ho, thai pepper can hit it. read more

I've gotten the pad thai here. It's not bad, but not really spectacular. I'm not sure how to describe it. It doesn't taste bad, but it's slightly... chewy? The thickness or something about the noodle just seems a little off. Tastes alright though and prices are cheap. Plenty of parking and space as it's never been busy when I was there. read more

For Thai in this area, this place gets my vote. Known for being fairly tasty, they do special orders if it's not on the menu. It's an established, friendly, family-run restaurant with freshly prepared food at an affordable price, convenient hours & prompt service. Their English is well enough that you actually get what you order & the atmosphere is bright & cheery with a relaxing 'take your time eating' feel. The restroom's not easily accessible, but clean enough to use. I've eaten here several times & have never been disappointed. That being said, I'd go back again. :) read more

It gets three stars because its close to my work and there aren't many places to choose from in Sun Valley. The lunch special is a deal, the place is clean, and the service has always been good. Food is decent. There are a handful of dishes that are above average tasty (seafood surprise being one of them). So although the food is not exceptional, the price is reasonable and they deliver. We were frequent customers of this place for that reason but then our last experience with Thai Pepper was very disappointing. As usual, one of the items we ordered for delivery was the panang curry with tofu. The curry was usually quite good. This time for some reason, it turned out really bad - it was extremely and inedibly SALTY! I took a few bites and just couldn't even muster my way through it. So I called the restaurant and explained what happened. The guy on the phone was totally unapologetic and unhelpful. He said they would make us another one if we wanted to come pick it up! This is after we had already waited an hour for the delivery and had already started our meal at home. I told him that was unacceptable and I wasn't coming there to pick up a dish they had messed up. The guy said that's all he could offer. I was stunned. I told him we were regular customers and this was a great way to lose us. So he said we could be a free panang curry next time we ordered! Wow, I couldn't believe he wouldn't at least offer a refund to a regular customer. Sadly, due to their own poor service, they've lost us as customers and luckily we found another local spot with much better food and service (My Thai). That said, I would have maybe given them a four star review (a bit of a stretch though) before this experience. So it's not a horrible place by any means. read more
