    7. Fresh Spring Rolls
    Amber M.

We were visiting our dad in North Hollywood and we ordered Thai Me Up using the Door Dash app. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I truly enjoyed the chow mein and spring rolls were served with this tasty peanut sauce. Yum! We also ordered a Thai iced tea. That was great too. The food arrived on time and it was still hot. We dined at home so I can't speak on the ambiance of the restaurant. I definitely would recommend Thai Me Up! 5 stars!

First time ordering from here and it was a near perfect experience- order arrived in a timely manner . Everything was correct and utensils and napkins were in the bag. I selected medium spice on both dishes and that level was plenty spicy Only thing was no soy sauce or chili sauce condiments in the bag otherwise all good !

The standout was the Spicy Shrimp Wontons, which featured delicate, silky, the shrimp filling was perfectly seasoned, and the spicy chili sauce had just the right balance of heat, umami, and a subtle hint of sweetness, making each bite addictive. They were so good that I immediately ordered another serving to go. Honestly, I preferred these over Din Tai Fung's. The OG Ramen was deeply comforting and satisfying, with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that held up well from start to finish. We also tried the takoyaki, which had a lightly crisp exterior, a soft, creamy center, and plenty of savory flavor, finished with classic toppings like bonito flakes, mayonnaise, and takoyaki sauce, tying all flavors together. The service was warm and attentive, making the entire experience. If you're looking for a hidden gem that offers high-quality food and complex flavors that will keep you returning, this place is definitely worth exploring.

Seated in a rather interesting part of North Hollywood, the summer heat did not deter us from eating here, as the smell immediately brought my worries elsewhere. A vast majority of the food here was fantastic, and the only reason I was going to opt for 4 stars was the takoyaki had quite a tiny portion in the actual dough ball- despite the actual breading so soft and fluffy, it was like the most delightfully extravagant packaging for something that was a bit of a let down. Though, much to the credit of our waiter she understood and offered to swap it out for another appetizer, which probably deserves the vast majority of the praise here. The vegetarian dumplings we ordered were legitmately some of the best dumplings I've had period. From the vegan mayo to the best gentle heat I've ever had the experience I've eating. Just hot enough for a brief moment with delightful heat throughout. The chicken skewers we had and the calamari were solid and with a perfectly paired Thai Iced Tea, I only hope to visit again and drown in dumplings. Cheers!

We ordered the crunchy sushi roll, the spicy Totonsku and edamame . The food was delicious!!! We never been here before and didn't know what to expect . Edamame was warm and snappy . Crunch roll was on the bigger side, exactly what you expect of shrimp tempura and imitation crab . Lastly the soup , very very spicy . We asked the waitress for about 6-7 of spicy and I think we got like 9. I am not complaining I though, I think we needed the heat . We had to eat the soup with the edamame simultaneously: it was that hot . If you like spicy order the spicy tontonsku, and also order a Pinot Grigio to go with it. Best combination ever , the brightness of the wine would cool down my palate as a gulped the fire water from the soup . If you don't like spicy , make sure you tell them you want it less spicy . Overall : I'm intrigued and want to go back . I did not give it 5 starts because it was very quiet , there was no music ; we can hear the food being made in the kitchen. Which to me it's not a problem, but having some nice melodic tunes wouldn't hurt the ambience neither. Come to Tamashii House if you dare !

I wasn't sure if we had enough time since the validation is only free for 3 hours if you watch a movie, but we were able to make it in enough time. I'm not really a ramen person but my son just got a jaw expander, so I wanted him to have something he could eat pretty easy. Once we arrived we were seated pretty quick. The host was nice and tried to get us on the patio but it was packed, so we grabbed a booth in the corner next to the little bar section. They were quick to take our order and the food arrived shortly after. We ordered the: Handmade Fried Pork Gyoza Crispy Chicken Karaage Curry Bowl The Shoyu Ramen Cut California Roll My oldest kid really loved the sushi, while my youngest did not. my friend thought the Curry bowl was amazing, and my oldest son picked at his shoyu ramen. I had a feeling he didn't like it but he said it was too hot. I loved the pork gyoza but wasn't really a fan of the chicken karaage. The few pieces I had felt like it was the fried fat pieces of the chicken but maybe I got some bad pieces. So it was pretty much a mix of opinions. This is my review, so I'll go as far as to say, I would order the pork gyoza again but I wouldn't order the chicken karaage. However, I do want to try the Cajun Mazemen if we come again, but it wouldn't be any time soon. Overall, this place is solid and I think if you love ramen, give it a shot. For not being a big ramen fan, I still think the place was nice, clean, had excellent service and the food came out quick. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Especially one open very late most nights! So many times after a long late work day I had no options for food, having a gluten allergy and being vegan, so now this is where I can go and expect a nearly perfect ramen every time. The no. 10 ramen (that has no broth) is my favorite. The ramen with broth is on the thicker side, and every type is good. They kinda all taste very similar to be honest. But even for people that eat meat, all the flavor is still present in the broth and ingredients. The atmosphere is also very nice and dark, with a decent amount of seats and nice background music playing, no annoying top 40 stuff. Always some nice electronic music that isn't too energetic or too sleepy. Sometimes there can be loud people but that really can't be helped in todays culture unfortunately, especially LA. I do wish they had more caffeine free drink options. Maybe some liquid death sodas, la crouix, or lemonade options would go well with the ramen or rolls! **The only other thing to keep in mind is that they tend to stop serving within a half hour of closing and sometimes they close early, might be best to order ahead or call if you intend on coming by around closing time, I was very disappointed two times because of this. ** Also, there is a shared lot and usually open spots on the street too. I recommend parking on the street as the parking lot can be a bit chaotic.

The place has a social vibe while still separating tables for privacy and encouraging fun in your particular area. It looks like they have karaoke nights and there are a few screens playing K dramas in the background. Cons: the food. We went at 1 PM and the place was empty so I was super disappointed that each plate we received was not up to par. One of my friends did the shrimp dumpling, which was far too expensive to not have a solid prawn in the middle as most dim sum spaces do. Instead, the dumpling was filled with minced shrimp and it taste mostly of egg at that price point you expected to taste protein before filler. I had the minced pork and rice which was overwhelmingly, salty and inedible. Quite frankly I saved it for the next day to see if my husband who is assault fanatic would say anything and even she thought it was inedible. I believe they poured a half bottle of soy sauce and my protein alone. One of my friends had the kimchi fried rice and she said it was decent. Finally we had the Korean fried chicken which they refused to split flavors on, and I could respect that if it had been any busier. But with us being the only one seated it kind of didn't make sense. I wanted to get a feel of the flavors in general to see which I should order for the next time.. be warned the chicken is sweet! Not the sauce, but the chicken itself has been marinated in some type of cinnamon sugar recipe. That is not familiar to me when I think about Korean fried chicken. That day, my friends and I giggled that this place was not as authentic as we had experienced driving down to kTown. It definitely felt like a "valley" version of Korean food. We even discussed giving them the benefit of the doubt that this could be a difference regionally that we had not experienced before. All of my concerns were confirmed the next day when I reheated the food in an attempt to give it a second chance with a fresh pallet. None of the leftovers were even edible. Finally, nothing is more annoying than a server who claims that the bill cannot be split any other way, but 50/50. It's 2026 and all back end systems allow split bills. Once again, this is understandable during peak hours, but it would have benefited the server to take two more minutes to try to figure out his system. This should be part of your server training. It seems he had plenty of time to learn since the place was so empty and in fact, my friend and I joked that we would be happy to teach him as we are familiar with industry standards. That's not to seem cocky, but given your location in noho the majority of your guests have food service experience as struggling actors etc. This is not the type of review that I enjoy leaving, but in hopes that one less small business is shut down take note
