I had a delicious chicken red curry with spice level of 3. Since I can handle spice pretty well, the level 3 was barely a mild. If I'm ever here again, I'll boost it up to 5. The only downside to this dish in my opinion is that I wish the curry was creamier and thicker. The food was okay, nothing phenomenal but the value...???...not great. I had Nigiri & Sashimi regular for $44. My husband had Nigiri deluxe for $34. We both had to choose if we wanted soup OR salad! Really !?! My soup was the typical miso soup in a small cup (flavored water) and my husband had the salad (small cup as well) that had lettuce and a hint of ginger dressing. You would think for that price of an entree, the restaurant would be able to afford to give each one of us a soup AND salad. But apparently not.... To make matters worse, my husband ordered iced tea. He never got it but was charged for it. Needless to say, I pointed that out to the server. We used to live in Mt. Juliet. It's been awhile since we've been to Fulins, another Asian restaurant. Soup and salad were included in the entrees. The same can be said for Wasabi restaurant. These restaurants are all a stone's throw from each other. I've come here a few times and have been impressed! The sushi is so delicious. Fresh, beautifully presented, and tasty. The atmosphere is bright and clean. I think the service has a bit of room for improvement. The staff is nice, but I get the sense they are a bit disorganized (no service for awhile, and then two people come over to take the order.) They have some Japanese beers on draft and even a Japanese IPA in a can! They also have some fun cocktails. Someone in a review mentioned happy hour, but they do not have happy hour. Hoping they will roll one out someday! The sushi presentation is unlike anything I've ever seen. The attention to detail, and effort that goes into the presentation keeps me coming back! read more

I couldn't help but to give this place 5 stars all the way around! The inside is beautiful and SO clean, the food was insanely delicious, and the service was amazing! My fiancé and I started off with the bbq bao and it did not disappoint. Crunchy, flavorful and light. We also got the sampler of the spring rolls, steamed dumplings and chicken. All very good, but the chicken stole the show! It was the perfect combination of flavors. Right then and there we could tell that we were in for quite the treat for the entire time. We ordered the lunch size of the pad Thai with tofu to test out and it was very good. Also came with salad & ginger dressing and miso soup. Since we were sharing, they even gave us each a soup and salad. THE GRAND FINALE!!!! We ordered the Tennessee roll and the volcano roll and OH MY GOODNESS! Both crunchy and so full of the perfect amount of flavor combinations and we were so happy! First time, seated immediately and was welcomed by two people getting seated by our server, and it was early for lunch, but filled up quickly! That's always a good sign! Delicious ginger chicken, and the thickest, creamiest, coconut-goodness Tom Kah Gai soup, filled with chicken and fresh cut mushrooms, decorated with scallions and a bit of chili oil. It was the best l have ever had! The restaurant is so clean, and great graphic theme on the walls. The staff was so friendly and happy to explain anything, and it was a great dining experience. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. When I was less busy in the summer I would come here at least once a week. The service is absolutely fantastic and everyone is always welcoming. The sushi is absolutely delicious. Very fresh! Also, their Thai noodles and appetizers are very, very good. My favorite is the white mountain roll. I'm obsessed with this place!!! I have given this place so many chances and it gets worse each time. I don't think I will ever be back. The service is absolute crap. Food is not anything special. The cocktails are not good. I had to wait 45 minutes for an avocado roll and a California roll to come out. This is after everyone else I was sitting with had finished eating. The server never refilled my water. Every time I tried to ask her something she walked away before I could finish my sentence. After sitting for a good 25 or 30 minute she finally came over and asked if I had even gotten my sushi. She was pretty hostile about it too when I told her I didn't even care for the sushi anymore I just wanted to say for the soup and salad I got. We first experienced Thai Samurai "to go" and it was really good. However, dining in is so much better! All dishes and sushi rolls are presented beautifully and the flavors are fresh, hot and incredible. We have had a few of the signature rolls as well as the Thai dishes and this is one of our favorite spots in Mt Juliet. Nice people, but dang this place is just not good. I even gave it 2 tries and both times I got undercooked rice, and none of the food came out at the same time. I'm writing this review just after eating the most flavorless Orange Chicken I've had. My food also came out well after my table got their food and most were already done eating. Like cmon, Panda Express is better and that food comes out of a frozen bag. I didn't even finish my food, not because I was full, but because it was a waste of room in my stomach.
