pad see ew: flat noodle stir fried with thick soy sauce, chicken, and chinese broccoli = $12.95
Trung N.

I ordered take out from here because it was convenient and though it was, the food tasted very okay. We ordered the following: -pad sew ew ($12.95): flat noodle stir fried with thick soy sauce, your choice of meat with Chinese broccoli -yellow curry ($12.95): spicy - your choice of meat, potatoes, and onions The pad see ew wasn't bad, but the noodles were overcooked so they were a bit mushy. They also lacked the wok char which usually gives the noodles so much flavor. I deviated from my usual green curry order and tried the yellow version instead. It's much more coconut-y in flavor and I did like the vegetable change up. This was quite good spooned over rice. It tasted like regular ole curry either way nothing more to it. I'm glad I gave Thai Sky a go. It's quick, easy, and convenient.

Came here on a Monday around 6:00pm. No wait to be seated. Service was quick despite many takeout orders. One bathroom. Two parking spots in front. Ordered the pad thai with chicken it was good. The pad see ew with beef was a nice chewy. And the calamari with the sauce was nice. The wonton soup had good amount of seasoning. All had fresh veggies. The thai tea was really good. All in all for price to size to flavoring was worth it.

5/5 - Customer Service 2/5 - Thai Chicken Pad See Ew -- $12.95 5/5 - Taro Milk Tea -- $5.95 5/5 - Curry Puff Pastry -- $9.99 This place is a small hidden gem. The workers were very friendly and the interior was very charming. It has a warm ambience to it. I ordered Thai Chicken Pad See Ew, Taro Milk Tea, and the Curry Puff Pastry. The Thai Chicken Pad See Ew wasn't appetizing. It lacked dark soy sauce. It was overly soggy and broken apart. The veggies were very dry. I don't experience that with other Thai Restaurant. For the Taro Milk Tea, it was super delicious and appetizing. For the Curry Puff Pastry, it was super delicious. It came with a dipping sauce. The sauce was great, but I think the Curry Puff Pastry is still just as great without the sauce. The only thing that was concerning was the price. For 3pcs, it's priced at $9.99. If you order this, your receipt will say 5pcs. I clarified with one of the workers and she said that when they put it in the system they are going by Thai numbers. I would most likely return for the drinks, but unfortunately not for the food.

Fried dim sum. Sweet and spicy chicken that I took a bite of before letting the camera eat. (oops) And great family company. 3

We actually drove passed it and had to turn around to go back and find it...it's an unassuming building but once you see it, it's like, why did I miss that? It's got very few awkward parking spots right in front of it, but for additional parking, there's street & neighborhood spots (hopefully) near and all around. Be careful backing out & getting back on the street (you'll understand what I mean when you come and try this place out). The entrance looks like a home door. Just turn the knob and walk right on in. Inside is a normal typical restaurant. They have lunch and dinner specials and I highly recommend going this route for the best value. The dinner specials include shrimp fried rice, a choice of egg roll or simple salad, a Thai tea and a main entree with choices that include Pad Thai, Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken curry, chicken wings and more. And the price is lower than expected for the inclusions and portions. All the food taste good--the chicken wings are sweet and spicy (I asked for medium spice) and it paired perfectly with the rice. They also have appetizers and we tried the fried dim sum which was crispy and meaty. Pretty good. Honestly, we were all happy with what we ordered and it was such a pleasant meal. The service is friendly. But my one passive complaint is that the entrees came out at different times and since we all like to eat at the same time, some members of the group had to stare at their food while waiting for the others' food to arrive. And the wait was minutes (maybe? but it felt long, you know when you're hungry and want to eat, the wait just feels longer than what one would want). But overall, it was a wonderful and affordable dinner with the family. We were full and plan to return. :-)

I love love love this little spot! The ambiance is chill, sultry jazz playing in the background. Very clean and sparsely decorated. The staff are amazingly kind and willing to educate you on each dish. The food is delicious and plentiful.. I will definitely be coming back soon.

68. Pad Prik King
Noralba S.

I've came twice now , once for the lunch special (tried chicken chow mein and pad prik king) And today for dinner (1/3/2024 7pm). I personally had Thai iced tea, vegetarian egg rolls , a taste of their thai boat noodles, pad prik king, and mango sticky rice. My favorite two items were pad prik king because I asked for it to be made EXTRA EXTRA spicy and they actually did it ! Most places don't complete that request but I was sweating with my meal (no complaints I love spicy) plus the green beans were not overcooked and still had a crunch to them. My second favorite was the mango sticky rice which was absolutely amazing! I've only had this from one other place before but this one definitely exceeded my expectations The establishment was clean and staff was very friendly. I'll definitely be coming back.

This is a very good seemingly family owned Thai restaurant. It's not a chain. It's not fancy. But the Thai food is excellent. With most dishes, they inquire about your desired spice-level. Medium is not very spicy; hot would be the right level for me. Very hot would be too much for me, I'm sure. I didn't feel great today and felt like tom yum gai. It was delicious and the price was reasonable. I added on a Thai beef salad that was excellent too. I will surely be back and if you like Thai food, this is a great little place.

green curry (bowl), pad see ew (top box), pad thai (bottom)

My friends got me takeout from here when I visited them so I could try Thai cuisine for the first time. Extremely reasonable prices with healthy portions and the food was ready for pickup in less than 15 minutes. We got: pad see ew (3/5) -- Seemed to be a wetter version of chow fun. I found the sauce to be way too sweet(maybe too much kecap manis?), but it was strangely addictive. Could've used less sauce so the noodles wouldn't have been so heavy and soggy. pad thai (4/5) -- Preferred this noodle's texture over the pad see ew though the sauce was still too sweet for me. Overall enjoyable because there were sour, spicy, and savory notes to help counter the sweetness. chicken green curry (4/5) -- Refreshing, spicy, sweet, saucy goodness. Get it just for the sauce and eat it with rice. Thai Iced tea (4/5) -- Earthy, bitter, and creamy. Was my first Thai tea experience so I'm not quite sure what authentic/good Thai tea is supposed to taste like. All the proteins in each dish we got were pretty dry while their vegetables were well done, so if you don't mind overcooked meat, give 'em a try.

Another unexpected favorite was the wings. I'm usually not a big wings person, but these were surprisingly good--crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! The Thai tea itself was pretty standard, but that popsicle was like the icing on a cake. The places, modern and clean. Staff is helpful and nice. THAI ICED GREEN TEA: Just the right blend of tea and cream, and not too sweet! So rich and refreshing. FRESH OYSTERS THAI STREET STYLE: Spicy...! Has a kick. Went well with the fried onion topping. PAPAYA SALAD (Laos style): First time trying Laos style! The fermented seafood on top was FANTASTIC. Crisp brininess paired with the fresh papaya was beyond flavorful. I'm typically not a huge fan of crab but the salad dressing infused into the meat won me over. PAD KRA PROW (w/mock chicken): Standard stir-fried veggie/"meat" dish. We just wanted to try the mock chicken-- was a glutinous tofu-like protein, like the kind you get at Buddhist temple lunches. I mentioned to our waitress that it was my friend's birthday, and they graciously brought out a complimentary dish of ice cream with a candle to celebrate...! Very sweet gesture and the ice cream was delicious ;_;

I will say that service can be very inconsistent. From my more recent experiences (multiple visits across the last year or two), I noticed a pattern where the servers are quick to seat you and take your order, but then you don't hear from them again until you flag them down (if you need anything or want to get the check, for example). I'm not saying that check-ins throughout the meal are required, but they would be nice gestures. Also having to wait around to contact a server just to pay can be a bit inconvenient... I ordered Pad sae ew (spelling?) basil fried rice (which they forgot to send), green curry, and hot basil chicken. Let's start with the pad Sae ew. Ew is right. It completely lacked flavor. That sweet dark soy flavor that dish is supposed to have. This dish didn't have it. Not even close. Instead it was very bland and just tasted of salt. Like they just made plain rice noodles and drizzled some regular soy sauce on it. I've never had this dish taste so bad. I can't speak on the basil fried rice as I didn't receive it but I can't imagine it's very good based on the other 3 dishes I did receive. Green curry: that's gonna be a no from me dawg. Again, completely lacked flavor. All I tasted was a bit of salt. No sweetness, no spices. Plus it was a very very thin curry. Thinner than it should be. Hot basil chicken: no. Just no. Again. Completely lacking in flavor. All I could taste is salt. It's like they use just soy sauce to flavor everything with. That's it. I've eaten Thai food all my life and at times at some very sus places, however, I've never come across a restaurant where each dish is more disappointing than the next! It's pretty hard to eff up Thai food but here we are. I hope the owners take this as constructive criticism and change recipes/cooks/burn whole restaurant down. I spent over $70 on this BS and couldn't get more than 2 spoonfuls of each dish down before I threw it in the trash. Now it's past midnight and my big back is still hungry.
