First time checking this place. It was steady busy for a lunch time on Sunday. I started with the Thai spice sampler of egg rolls, spring rolls and crab Rangoon. Overall very good. The egg rolls had a unique taste to them. I couldn't put my finger on it. I thought the crab Rangoon was small in size but maybe because I got the sampler? The Pad Thai with chicken was good. I got it with mild spice though I thought it was more like medium spice. Overall the food and service were good.

We came here between lunch and dinner on a Sunday and were the only people eating in the restaurant. We got our food pretty fast and the service was okay. The Thai iced tea and pad Thai with shrimp were really good. Tiger cry beef was so incredibly salty and hard to eat. I guess it's just a hit or miss on what you get off the menu.

We were excited to try this restaurant, as there are a couple of them in the Lee's Summit area and they are well reviewed and rated on Yelp. Our server, Sammy, was amazing! She answered all of the questions of two first-time guests with ease and aplomb. She was incredibly helpful and pleasant. We started out with the Siam Rolls, which were just okay. Not much going on with them. The dipping sauce was amazing. I thought the rolls themselves were pretty bland and pedestrian, however, my wife thought they were the best thing that we had. She took them home and ate them two more times. I am glad she enjoyed them. I had the Thai Spice Noodle with pork, which was one of the house specialties and absolutely fantastic! 9/10, would order again. The pork was a little chewy and overcooked, but there was a ton of it. Great value. My wife got the Signature Fried Rice with shrimp, which was HUGE! She loved it! I also thought it was good. She ate the shrimp out of it, so she could eat it twice more at home, adding her own protein. Great deal. Since we were new to this place, we ordered everything mild and got the spice tray. That was perfect. I like things much spicier than my wife, but this way she can try my dish before I kick it up to be too hot for her. We love sharing. I thought the Thai Spice Noodle was considerably better than the fried rice. She liked hers better. Next time we'll probably do the Drunken Noodles and a green curry. This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.

Love having lunch here! Their hot and sour soup is soo delicious! Great start to a meal! I swear it has healing powers! The drunken noodles re one of my favorites! Flavorful and I love the servers always so nice and accommodating! I can't eat green peppers and they alway leave them out without any problems. This visit we sat in the extension It's so roomy and the sushi is in the space!

Everything is so fresh! Cocktails menu is definitely worth a glance. There are a lot of vegan options! Make sure to let your server know to not add fish or oyster sauce to the dish.

Okay I am very amazed at this place! There was a posting to give everybody heads up that this place is short staffed. So if you're going to be making a review please be mindful that they gave a heads up that their shortstaff. Anyway having said thay they're short staffed. I got my food really fast I would say 3 to 4 minutes tops for appetizer. And after that I got my main course. That was a smooth transition and that was really cool! It was pretty busy for being short staff and our server always filled our drinks and checked up on us. I browse through the menu and you cannot get bored of this! If you're reading this you got to try the soft spring rolls with this crunchy Honey dip sauce! (Appetizer) I ordered the golden chicken curry and rice mild spicy. I love it!!! I look forward to coming here again!

But step inside the door, and you've entered an Asian teahouse that's welcoming and cheery. The walls are painted a bright mint green, with paintings of herbs and an entire wall of customers' photos celebrating their birthdays. The place is open and airy and the tables are spaced well so that one is dining in a communal place but can still carry on a conversation in some privacy. Shelly and Lin-Lin were our servers, and they were AMAZING! Shelly greeted us and was a most hospitable hostess; when we asked for a table nearer the windows, she was happy to oblige. Both Shelly and Lin-Lin guided us through the menu, answering our questions and giving us thoughtful recommendations for food and drink choices. Our meals were EXQUISITE! My friend had the Chrisnana roll and I had the lunch special of two rolls with onion soup. Both were plated beautifully; we took photos because they were utterly charming! The Chrisnana roll was delicious; the banana was surprising but melded with the savory sushi flavors. My California roll was a perfect blend of crab, avocado and cucumber wrapped in perfectly-cooked rice. And my Sweet Potato roll was mouth-wateringly delectable! There was a crisp topping on the roll which perfectly complemented the sweet smoothness of the potato filling. Both meals were reasonably priced and served quickly. When my friend and I lingered to talk, both Shelly and Lin-Lin checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed, but we never felt rushed to leave. They were so friendly and genuinely happy to have us join them at the restaurant--it was such a warm and welcoming experience! We'll definitely be back, and we'll bring more friends! Thank you so much for a delightful time!

As we entered the entryway, we were WARMLY welcomed with a hearty "HI!!" We chose the Hibachi side of the dining room. Promptly seated and serving plate, silver and napkins in place. Thanks to experienced Alex - the chef's assistant. Alex was super personable, friendly and FUNNY! We enjoyed him immensely. Our chef - O.G. - arrived with his side cart loaded with sauces, a huge tray of beautifully prepared veggies, generous portions of rice and smallish proteins which were over priced. My five small scallops were cooked to perfection. Exceedingly tender with the proper bit of char. Delicious! But I sure could have enjoyed a couple more of those morsels. We were a party of four. Two opted for strictly chicken and the last of our group did a chix/shrimp combo. The chicken, sadly, was overcooked. O.G. was entertaining and an interesting conversationalist.

I've never seen that level of interaction before, and it definitely made the meal more enjoyable. The food was good and cooked well, but the portions were smaller than what you typically get at most hibachi places, so don't expect to have leftovers. The restaurant itself is a bit outdated, but it was clean, which I appreciated. Overall, a fun experience with good food--just go in knowing the portions are on the smaller side.

I ordered a house large poke bowl, and when I got home, I realized it had mango, kimchi, and several other ingredients that are not included in the bowl's listed ingredients. I drove back with the bowl and my receipt, but the employee at the counter insisted those were the correct ingredients. I had to pull up the restaurant's website on my phone and show him the ingredient list before he checked the recipe in the back and had the bowl remade. While the correct bowl was eventually made, the interaction was uncomfortable and dismissive. There was very little communication, and the employee simply handed me the replacement, said "sorry," and walked away. I also tried calling afterward to speak with a manager. I was told the manager would be there at 1:00pm, but when I called again later, they still were not available. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have had an incorrect order or missing items, so I have gotten into the habit of checking our food before leaving. I am not looking for a refund or anything complimentary. I simply wanted to share this feedback because we genuinely enjoy the food and would love to feel more confident ordering takeout again. A little more consistency and communication when mistakes happen would go a long way.
