I love Thai T! I finally got a Thai friend and she went searching for good Thai food in our area (my friends expose me to all this neat stuff). She recommended Thai T and brought their food to our house for a potluck, and I've been hooked ever since! The interior is cute and clean, and the waitresses are always friendly and very attentive (I swear I got my water glass refilled once every 5 minutes). My boyfriend usually orders the Thai Tea and there are always free refills on that as well. We are usually here for the Lunch Special, I always order the Beef with Oyster Sauce. I love it because there is a fair amount of sauce that I can drench up with the rice at the end of the meal. The rice is always in a cute shape (star, moon, bear with raisins for eyes) and is nice and fluffy. I love their chicken satay, and the sticky rice with mango is yummy too. For a while there we were eating here once a week, we liked it so much. We are usually able to get by during their lunch hours at about $20-23 for the two of us! read more

Had delivery to the in-laws yesterday. In addition to how hard it was to just place an order over the phone due to language barrier (I had to repeat myself several times), food was also 15 min past the promised 45 min delivery time. Now with that said, food was excellent. Spicy beef salad was good - could have been a bit less tangy. Chicken and pork larbs were really flavorful. Minty leaves dish with ground pork was spot on. Tried the pad kee mao since it seems to be a favorite amongst yelpers...SO glad I did. It was excellent!!! Thanks, fellow food yelpers :) I was surprised that the larb dishes and minty leaves dish didn't come with rice. I wish the lady who took my order could have asked me if I had wanted rice with my dishes because all of that hearty stuff isn't good without rice. Luckily I had some at home I was able to nuke up quickly to pair with all the food that had just been delivered. Been coming here for years, I have never had a bad experience. I usually get the green curry and it's always been exceptional. The iced coffee is great. Has a nice sharp flavor and dark taste. I believe they make fresh fruit smoothies as well. I seem to remember having a mango one some time in the past and it being very good. The staff is always friendly and courteous, they take your order in a speedy fashion and get your drinks and side dishes out quickly. You want greasy, uncomfortable feeling, dirty, fly infested asian/Thai restaurants, go somewhere else. This is one of the cleanest, nicest, and not so overpriced Thai food in the 909 area code. You get to pick from Spicy Mint Leaves, to Red/Green/Yellow Curry, to even Teriyaki? Wait, I thought this was a Thai restaurant? Then the Dinner specials for $8.99 for chicken, beef, or tofu options (and $1 more for shrimp option) and speical comes with salad, fried wonton, SHIRMP fried rice (that's right, "SHRIMP fried rice"). The size of the plate and the food is decent for the price you are paying It isn't too small and it isn't too big. The rice is also formed into shapes like a heart, or a star, or some thing cute. And, its a nice display on top of a white square plate. Too much dressing on iceberg lettuce salad (served on a tiny plate that spills over when you eat it) with combo meal. Dry meat on pad thai & glass noodle dish (told the waitress). I personally try to skip these in favor of the smaller family-owned type places, which drew me to Thai T (that, along with some good Yelp reviews.) Cozy, located in a strip mall, you might miss it from the street. On a Saturday night, i found the service to be pretty good, with good attention to the basics, such as water refills and asking how we enjoyed our food... ....oh yes, the food, and this is what we all want to know about, right? My friend and I ordered the dinner specials - she, the red curry with chicken, and I, the beef with mint leaves and basil. The dinner specials are served with rice, salad, soup, and a couple of fried won tons. None of these "extras" were very complex, but all were tasty and complemented the meal well. We both opted for the brown rice instead of fried rice, which was provided with no extra charge. The fried won tons were crisp and not greasy. The salad comes with a mayonnaise-based dressing, which is probably best on the side. The soup is simple, and mostly broth. My friend had ordered the red curry "mild," and after tasting it, decided that it was indeed the appropriate level of spiciness and flavor. I, being more fond of spiciness than my own tongue, opted for "very spicy." Not quite as spicy as a "medium" in Thailand, still considerably spicy for the US...and considerably tasty as well. Beef was tender and flavorful, and the peppers and onions still retained crispness - although there were maybe a tad too many onions for my liking. Portions were of very good size - partway through the meal, I wondered if I should just stop eating and save some for home, or just continue to enjoy the deliciousness. I opted for the latter. Alex and I went here for dinner last night. We knew we wanted Thai food but weren't interested in driving all the way to Rowland Heights from Fontana. It was empty when we arrived, in other words we were the only customers in there. But to their credit we arrived about 45 minutes before they closed (they close at 10pm). I noticed immediately the place had an "A" grade. And the place looked clean when we walked in. Appetizer: We got the satay chicken, which came with 2 different sauces. I was diggin the cucumber sauce, but the regular satay sauce was equally as good. The chicken was perfectly cooked, which is good for those of us that get stomach troubles with chicken that's even slightly undercooked. Drinks: I got the Thai Iced Tea, which I personally thought was the best I've ever had anywhere else. (Note that I've only had Thai Iced Tea at like 3 other places). Alex got some red syrup in soda then he tried it with milk. Suggestion - go with milk. Soda was WAY too strong. It tasted like Korean medicine. Although we didn't partake in any alcoholic beverages, there was a selection of chardonnay, merlot, martinis (apple, watermelon & lychee), screw drivers and margaritas. Beers were also available. Dinner: I had the Pad Thai and Alex got the Garlic Pepper Beef. Both dinners were $8.99 and it included the actual dish, salad to start with, beef broth with bean sprouts and fried rice. Soup apparently can vary - it's whatever the soup of the day is. The rice comes out shaped (mine was shaped like a star and Alex's was a heart). The food was delish. Well at least mine was. Alex complained about how much food remorse he had (as he was eating my food after he finished his) because it was too salty. After hearing that, I did not care to try any of his since if it was too salty for him, damn food would probably taste like straight up salt to me. I didn't finish my food, but I took the leftovers home (which they package for you - I liked that) and ate it for lunch today. Let me tell you, that food was just as good, it not better than it was yesterday. Dessert: We didn't save any room. :-( Definately on the list for next time. Their desserts looked tasty, particularly the fried bananas. I gave this place four stars for cleanliness and their outstanding service. They brought out these extra plates for us when we got there with our utensils and the plates were dry (not wet like at most places) and clean and the forks had no water spots, dried up food, etc. on them. For that alone, they earned themselves an extra star from me. I'm surprised to see any middling reviews of ThaiT here. It's the one good thing I've found about eating in RC. The food's good, the price is right, the service is friendly and quick. What's not to like? I guess they've opened a second location. Maybe there's a difference between the two. The one at Foothill and Carnelian, buried in with the Big Lots near the OSH(Sears) hardware store is the one I've eaten at. No complaints at all. What makes it seem all the better is that it stands out so much against background. RC's not bad if you want a steak--Magic Lamp and the Sycamore--Mexican--throw a rock and you hit a Mexi joint--but there's damn little to choose from for Asian. ThaiT is a real little bit of salvation in that respect. I thought I was destined to the dreaded steam table hell until I found this place. Try the one on Foothill and Carnelian. Unfortunately, things have changed since they first opened. The quality of food has spiral downward. The dishes no longer hold those small touches of care, attention to detail, or precision in flavors...Thai T is like an long-term girlfriend that no longer gives a crap and let's herself go b/c she's thinks she's locked you in. -First, the papaya salad was tossed in some liquid fermented spice that lack the intricate spices of Thai food. -The pad see eew was a big disappointment, with it's flavorless taste and chewy beef...although, the noodle was cooked perfectly and presented a soft delightful texture. -The Tom Yum Kai soup was suppose to come with chicken, but none was found besides a small meanly strip. An hour after my bf and I got really bad stomach aches and slight food poisoning from the food. Sigh... This place is popular now and it doesn't need word of mouth to do well, but they shouldn't let that compromise what use to make this Thai place wonderful. First time having Thai T and it was for take-out. I'm giving it a 3 in detail because I've never experienced the indoor ambiance. Rating is pointing directly to the actual food and takeout experience. * Satay chicken skewers were extremely on the dry side. Almost as if they had been sitting on the grill for a while or had been reheated. The peanut sauce was great and so was the the vinegar dipping sauce it comes with. * The chicken pad prik king was great! The green beans were perfect. * I ordered steam rice with my order and they kept the shrimp fried rice it came with. I had to get off to change it. The lady said, "oh yes, I remember you did say that on the phone." Ok! So they gave me a side of steam rice and allowed me to keep the fried rice as well. That was a nice gesture. It's still inconvenient. Luckily, I checked it in the car and didn't wait until I arrived at home. * Dinner meal comes with wontons. When I arrived home the order was missing the wontons. =( This is were restaurants fail at times. It's so important to double check a to go order! It is sooooo bothersome to arrive home after a long day and realize that your order is incomplete. Especially when they had already made a previous error with the order earlier. read more

Really spirited, clean, and bright decor on the inside makes for a fun, family-friendly ambiance or casual date night option. The christmas lights make for good bokeh for when you want to take pictures of your friend's new baby :P Portions range from perfect to large, so it's great to come share and eat family style here. Server is so polite and friendly. But the food has lot of MSG. Big crystals in of MSG all over the fried rice and other menu that we ordered. I was turned off:( At home we are not using MSG. Mixed emotions... the majority of our food was delicious, flavorful and very authentic. We walked in and there were two tables of two already seated. Our party was a party of 8. Once seated, it took nearly 10 minutes before our drink order was taken... in that time 4 other tables were seated. When the waitress came to get our drink order, we asked to put in our complete order at the same time (we had plenty of time to browse the menu) and the request was granted. 45 minutes later we were getting restless... sitting there watching the tables who arrived after us getting served before us... when finally served the PadThai was great and the PadSewe left a lot to be desired. I love this place, and I frequent it often. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I know there are places out there with better quality food, but this is my favorite Thai Food restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga. It far surpasses Diamond BBQ on Foothill and Archibald. I recommend the E-San Sausage. You have to eat it together with all the condiments though, this is what makes it so delicious. Wrap that baby up in the cabbage with the ginger, garlic, cilantro, pepper etc and take a big bite! Yummy. Pad see-ew is also delicious (I like it with Tofu, I think it tastes best that way) The service here is always friendly every time I go. The food was simply "OK". I enjoy my food extremely flavorful and spicy which is why I love Thai food so much. But it seemed that all the items that we ordered lacked that extra richness. We ordered: - Red Chicken Panang: It was rather bland - Mixed Seafood Soup: Also missing something and the crab legs were a pain in the butt - Papaya Salad: It very spicy and my favorite part of the meal. Loved it. Was visiting my dad who lives up off Vineyard below Baseline, so this place on Foothill was just a short drive down Vineyard. The service was very nice. The food was outstanding. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could because it's not like I was astounded, but I'd say they are as good as it gets in that area of town (my dad lives there and said as far as he is concerned, it was as good as it gets in the area). Masu Man, Panang, some fried item, some rice, some beer. I tried my wife's and dad's stuff (prik king?) and it was all outstanding. I would go a bit out of my way to come back and eat there again, so they are a SOLID 4, but I argue 5 is more fair as no one else in the area seems to be as good. read more

We usually get many items from them. My favourtie is the Pad Kee Moa, the portions are great. I've had almost everything on their menu save for some seafood. I will always order from them! Am a huge Thai fan, so held a business lunch here last week. Have been to so many mediocre restaurants, I wasn't expecting much from this smallish, nondescript looking place at the end of a discount store strip mall. But WOW, did the food here knock our socks off!!! While each diner ordered something different - from satay to vegetarian and wonton soup entrees, each person reported the same thing - loved what they ate and would come back without hesitation. And the kicker? The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity. So we plan to make this a regular lunch stop every week or two when we have business meetings near here.
