I ordered chicken teriyaki and it was delicious! I also got the spring rolls and I liked them!

Great place for takeout and they do have a small eat in area. Run by nice and helpful people. The flavor is out of this world. I especially loved the crab rangoons! The filling was part cream cheese part green curry, and it worked perfectly with the crispy wrapper.

We had a lovely visit for lunch today. The last time we were here, it was called Le Thai Cafe. I ordered the Amazing Eggplant, and my wife ordered Penang Curry Beef. Surprisingly, we also got a Salad and Spring Roll with our meals that we weren't expecting. The food was delicious and the service was very pleasant. We ate outside because it was such a nice day. The tables are covered with umbrellas. There are also lots of potted herbs and flowers around the outside of the restaurant. The interior is very cute also. Looking forward to coming back again some time when we are in the area ... Cheers!

Can't wait to come back! Came in for lunch during winter break. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered Thai iced tea, crab rangoons, and the lunch sized Hawaii fried rice -- all for under $25. They have a beautiful dining room and I'm looking forward to trying out their patio when the weather is nice again. Plenty on the menu I'm excited to try next time.

Be prepared for spice! Got takeout tonight. My husband and I both had pad thai which was very solid just be ready for spice. I got a 3/5 which is pretty typical for me and it was on the spicier end IMO. Will def be ordering again soon!

What a find!! The food was exceptional and the service was attentive but not overbearing. The tables were beautifully and tastefully decorated, simple and elegant.

A very delicious Thai restaurant tucked in the neighborhood in Glenshaw. The service was quick and always attentive! And the ambience was perfect for either a friend get together or a date night. This is just personal preference, but I'm not a fan of BYOB places, but Thai tamarind is a BYOB place just to let you know! My friend and I went and had a really nice dinner! We started off with the crab Rangoon's that were extremely delicious and will order those every time I go! It wasn't like a classic crab Rangoon, it had a touch of curry in it, which added SO MUCH flavor and didn't even make it spicy. It was just so full of flavor! I then ordered the special fried rice, which was this beautifully cooked fried chicken with a bed of fried rice and a side of a chili sauce that was absolutely amazing and my friend had the fresh ginger meal, which was a bunch of delicious looking veggies and a side of white rice! We each ordered a beverage. I got the Thai iced tea which was extremely delicious and not too sweet and my friend got the ginger lemonade that she said was really good! Additionally, all of our rice dishes came out in the shape of a heart which was an adorable touch!!

Food is consistently great! We get takeout about once a week. My husband's favorite is the Pad Thai; mine is the Panang curry.

I've tried a few noodle dishes, including Pad Thai and Pad See Yew, and my husband has tried a few of the curry and rice dishes. The space is small and cozy and tucked into a quiet strip mall building off of Babcock, and they have a pickup area for takeout orders when you first walk in. The portions are good and they have a wide spectrum of food options on their menu! I'd like to try dining in at some point in the future. In full transparency, I will say that I was a bit put off when I last picked up my order because both the waiting area and my view into the kitchen did not appear to be very clean, and I had to ask twice for the order that I'd placed over the phone. That said, it could have been an off night, so perhaps take that with a grain of salt. It's currently not my first choice for Thai food in the area (it's a personal journey to find one's go-to takeout spots, IMO!), but still, it's a good option if you're nearby!

I'm not saying the food was bad or even mid before because it was always good but now it is even better. We had the Tom Kha soup, chicken Lad Nah, shrimp Pumpkin Curry, Param Chicken and shrimp Summer Rolls. Everything was excellent! Our server Paula was very friendly. I definitely will be back and highly recommend this place!!!

The menu had many of the expected food items as well as others not so common. On Saturday and Sunday there are many, many more. I always start with vegetable spring rolls. These were especially good. Also had the tasty pancake beef rolls. Will stop again next time we are near the McCandless Ross Townships border. The restaurant is bright, cheery, and clean. No dim sum carts however. Ample parking abounds in the McIntyre Square complex.

We ordered takeout this time, and the overall experience was great. We placed an order online, and everything was very neatly packaged and ready to go when expected. The food even travelled fairly well, such that it was still in good shape after traveling home. The restaurant itself is in a bit of a drab strip mall, but it's generally nicely decorated with colorful signage and a nicely kept interior. In terms of the food, the shrimp spinach dumplings were really nicely done, with lots of flavor and texture. My partner especially enjoyed the barbecue pork bao, which were nicely steamed with a very flavorful filling. The egg tart was good, but not really my thing. It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

While I felt like the original location was slightly better with the overall flavors, this place was pretty darn good. Service was friendly and decent too. The menu is PACKED with many authentic items, so much to choose from, but be sure to use the Chinese menu, not the American menu. The meats in our food choices were tender and fresh... same with the veggies. The flavors were very nice and spice level was low when I asked for "regular" level of spicy, so if I came back, I'd ask for a little more heat. We enjoyed most everything was got - The Dan Dan Noodles were basic, tho flavored nicely, they were like an "Asian spaghetti" so they weren't as good as they should have been. The cucumbers were boring, they definitely needed to have smashed garlic sauce and hot peppers added to the flavor from the kitchen, not just me adding heat at the table. The cumin beef was so tender and tasty! But needed more spice. The scallion pancakes were the best I've had yet! Their garlic sauce that came with the scallion pancakes was so incredibly tasty and those pancakes were flakey and done so nicely! For wok'd greenbeans, the only option was to get their stringbeans and pork and ask for no meat, but add spice - this worked PERFECTLY and they wok'd them right! Overall, it was a very nice visit and despite my opinion on the lack of depth of flavor and heat, this place would definitely satisfy most - So Go, give them a try!!

The menu is very extensive and has both American and authentic Chinese food. The portions are very large and you get a lot of food for the price you way. The price is also very reasonable. The food also comes out very quickly. The food was very good and very fresh. Just be warned that their cucumber salad is just cucumbers (there's no rice vinegar, sesame oil, or soy sauce), this was a let down. But the scallion pancakes and string beans were very good. The service though was a little frustrating. It took a while for a waiter to come to our table. We also had a couple of different waiters because we weren't understood and had to do a lot of pointing at the menu. Aside from that, I'm really happy that this restaurant is on McKnight!
