    Thai tea
    Manson L.

Great food. The menu was huge and I believe I had the Thai fat noodles with crab Rangoon. My wife had the rice an curry and we both had a water and a Thai tea which was a good choice because the orders were a medium heat and it soothed the throat and stomach. I wish I was there when someone ordered the Thai hot I wanted to see their reaction on the first bite! Bathrooms were cleaned but outdated and dining area was clean and staff friendly and fast. Will come back when in town.

This is one of my favorite spots to get Thai food in the area. When you walk in you can seat yourself. The staff is always friendly, and it's the same family who owns this restaurant. I ordered the pud Thai, mild. If you don't want any spice, you would enjoy their mild. I really enjoyed the chicken in this dish, as it was tender and flavorful. They have a huge menu, with tons of options. The waitress was very helpful too, and they can make suggestions based on what you like or are flooring for.

I really consider Thai Taste the best Thai restaurant in the State! Every time I come here the ambiance of the restaurant, the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food is impeccable, The food it's always delicious and tastes absolutely authentic!

We were very pleasantly surprised by Thai Taste. It's easy to miss nestled between Trader Joe's and Five Guys off 82nd Street near Allisonville. My son got the stir fry pork and I got the sesame chicken. Both were absolutely fantastic. And we shared an appetizer of fried tofu that had an absolutely delightful sauce. Service was very friendly and quick. The restaurant has a fairly quant atmosphere, and we both enjoyed our dinner. I'd definitely go back.

I've gone to this place several times and have loved it every time! The food is so full of flavor it's absolutely delicious. I got the mango chicken and coconut soup and wow. They have a broad range of menu items and every time I've come it's such a treat. The staff is very friendly and quick service.

I hate to write this type of review. This rating has nothing to do with the pleasant and efficient service unfortunately it is the lackluster meal that only earned a two. The appetizers were good, not great but good. The dinner wasn't. . I've eaten Thai in many different restaurants and it always had one characteristic, complex flavors. This was hot with no other flavor. Basil fried rice is usually laced with the sweet taste of Thai basil this had no flavor at all. The curry no creaminess just heat. I am sorry to write this but this was my experience may be the chef was off that day? I can not recommend this restaurant

Randomly stumbled in here but I'll definitely be back with a lot more people so I can try more of the menu. Very flavorful Thai food - literally everything was delicious. Papaya salad was tart and tangy in just the right way and was the perfect start to the meal. I went with the "hot" level of spicy and found it to be perfect - "Thai hot" would probably have been too much for me but for anyone who loves incendiary levels of spice I would recommend that. The shrimp and scallops in chili sauce definitely exceeded my expectations. For $18, the portion size was very generous - I finished maybe half of it - and the seafood was incredibly fresh. Plump and juicy shrimp that weren't rubbery and some of the sweetest tastiest scallops I've ever had. The sauce was also to die for. This is definitely my new go-to Thai place in Indy. Can't wait to tell all my friends and coworkers about this place!

Soooooo love Thai food! This place is bomb!! Everything I tried was delicious. I have been here a few times with my Indy family and we always enjoy the food and the dining experience. It's not a big place and gets packed frequently. I have yet to try the buffet. I believe they had it on Tuesday nights. Currently as of 7/16/20, no buffet due to Covid-19. I can't wait for them to go back in full operation. I'm looking forward to the buffet.

This is my second time getting lunch at Thai Taste. The first visit was great I loved how affordable it was and very quick service. Not the friendliest but I didn't mind because the food was delicious. This visit I ordered the same garlic chicken dish. It came out extremely fast I was shocked I hadn't even finished my soup. So I go to take a bite and saw that my meat looked a little funny I also noticed my dish was very runny. To my surprise my chicken is raw see pictures to note this isn't an exaggeration. The staff didn't seem too bothered or surprised by this I decided to leave because who wants salmonella? My advice check your food throughly before consuming anything.

Had the veggie pad Thai without egg and fried tofu appetizer. I thought the flavor was ok. They threw a surprise $2 extra on our bill. When I asked the waiter pointed to an obscure sign written in highlighter that said "$1 up on Entree"

Do they have the dinner buffet on Thursday nights still? I have tried to call but no one picks up

No. We came 5/14/2026 and they do not still have a buffet. I didn't call ahead to check, regretfully. They stated they haven't had buffet since COVID.

Do they still have a small buffet, I think on Thursday for dinner?

Yes, they do! So good!! 😋

In town on family business, for a couple of days, I was looking for someplace interesting for…read moredinner on a Wednesday evening. It had been before the pandemic since my last time in Indianapolis and much has changed on the city's dining and drinking landscape. Following a recommendation from a bartender at Sundry & Vice, I made my way to BODHI. I didn't have reservations, which I'd strongly recommend, since the place was packed on Wednesday night before 6PM. Fortunately, I was able to snag a seat at the bar, which was ideal since I was dining solo. Upon scanning the hip, high-energy, yet petite dining room, I had a sense of deja vu about it before realizing that I had been in this space before back when it was Black Market. I started off with a cocktail from Bodhi's intriguing and expansive drink list, a 7 Realms of Happiness, made with Old Hamer Bourbon, Faccia Brutto Centerbe, Cappelletti amaro, saffron honey, and lemon. My thought was that it's their twist on a classic Whiskey Smash. It was bittersweet, yet balanced, and simply a delight. As for the food, BODHI's menu is concise hitting the most of the Thai food usual suspects. I had the Papaya Salad and the Shrimp Green Curry. The papaya salad came out first. I was pleasantly surprised by its plating, looking much more like an elaborate entree with its cashews, watermelon radish, and chicharrones than the humble side salad atop a leaf of lettuce or cabbage that I've usually received at virtually every Thai restaurant I've ever been. It was just a pretty plate as it tasted even better than it looked. It was fresh and flavorful as those flavors popped from the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, spicy, and funky. It was the best rendition of a papaya salad that I've tasted. My bowl of curry was no less successful in balancing those diverse Thai flavor profiles. Unlike some/many other curries I've had where it seems like a bowl full of sauce with bits and pieces of protein or vegetables, Bodhi's rendition achieved the perfect "solids to sauce" ratio. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the curry itself was body and bright on my tongue. It was a delicious spoonful. I loved it! For "dessert", I had a second cocktail, the Garnet, a booze-forward whisky drink made with Mars Iwai Tradition, Pinhook Rye, Akashi Ume Plum whisky, Veda Mushroom Liqueur, Balsamic Vermouth, celery & orange bitters, and topped with a Moon Smoke Bubble. It was very unique, tasty and satisfying, if not a bit difficult to describe. I would maybe compare it to an Asian-influenced Vieux Carre and I thought it was excellent. Service from Carli, the bartender, was stellar throughout my night as she was friendly, helpful and exceedingly outstanding in making my drinks. A definite rock star! BODHI was outstanding. I'm not sure how to best describe the place. Was it as an amazing Thai restaurant that also does incredible cocktails or an amazing cocktail bar that also does killer Thai food? Regardless, I could not have enjoyed my experience more. If/when I'm back in Indy, BODHI is at the top of my list for a visit!

The pad Thai here at Chiang Mai Thai Noodle was excellent. Perhaps some of the best pad Thai I've eaten in Indy. It wasn't too sweet, which was nice. Sometimes, pad Thai can get a little cloying, but this one was perfectly balanced. I got it with shrimp, which were great and perfectly cooked. Like I mentioned, I visited with a big group.
