Ordered Massaman Curry, lemon Grass chicken with peanut sauce and crab rangoons. The Massaman curry was very runny and flavorless. The peanut sauce with the lemongrass chicken was runny (thin as water). The crab Rangoon was decent but nothing to write home about. They charge a lot of money for extra veggies (3 dollars for each one) and I didn't notice an increase. It seems like a regular amount to me. I came in to buy some food to eat there. I ordered what I wanted to eat at the restaurant. They brought my food out all packed to go and wrapped in a bag. I told them they made a mistake and I want to eat at the restaurant and they argued I ordered to go. I asked for utensils and got them. I have to sit down and wait 15 minutes for my scalding hot soup to cool down and every waiter walked right passed me watching me blow on it the whole time. I was very disappointed. All they had to do is bring out some plates and a bowl so it would cool down faster, not make me eat of out plastic containers. I regret tipping and paying before receiving the food. read more

Pad Thai is one of my favorites and Thai Terrace has always been a go to for me. We ordered it tonight and it was so sweet I could hardly eat it. Last time we ordered, I got the seafood Pad Thai and the smell was really strong, almost like the seafood was on the edge. I normally have chicken so I ate the noodles with sauce and skipped the seafood, which was expensive. Fast forward several months, I'm in the mood for Pad Thai and order the normal with chicken. First time in the area and I was so excited to try this place. The food is good but not as good as alot of Thai places I've been in Las Vegas & Cali. My favorite is the Tom Kha soup, chicken satay and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp so I know how they are supposed to taste and it's a lot different from what I'm used to. This is one of my families go to spot. Their Pad Thai is super good, but also many other dishes. For appetizer we love their shrimp avocado fresh rolls. We really enjoy their thai fried rice, volcano beef noodle & crazy seafood. The customer service can totally improve as they seem very short tempered. I recommend you give them a try. read more

After reading reviews on google and Yelp I was hoping we could prove them wrong. The Good The spicy mango dish was good. It was also served hot which makes a big difference. The Not-Good Possibly the reason my spicy mango dish was served hot was because it was served about 10 minutes after my husband and bro-in-law were served. We even had time for a waitress to stop and ask how everything tasted before I'd received my meal. Bro-in-law ordered the orange chicken. It tasted like straight up ketchup. I even took a picture to show the ketchup-esque sauce from his meal. We are currently looking for something else to get the ketchup taste out of his mouth. The lemongrass chicken should really be called peanut-sauce chicken. While the chicken itself was good, it was COVERED in a thick layer of creamy peanut sauce. It also didn't help that after waiting so long for my meal to come the peanut sauce had begun to solidify. The service was mediocre. The reviews on Google peg this perfectly as so-so service. It took us close to 10 minutes to have someone take our order, then the 10 minute lapse between meals being served didn't help. I was super bummed about our experience. I was hoping this would be my new Thai Orchid (mostly because it's closer to my home), but Thai Orchid will continue to be my go-to 'Couv location. read more

Punchline: The food is fresh, delicious, decently priced, and comes in large portion sizes. My boyfriend and I ordered take-out and got the chicken satay, orange chicken, and chicken pad thai. The peanut sauce added some really nice flavor to the chicken satay. The orange chicken was good but it was the pad thai that I thought was really delicious. Everything was fresh and not greasy at all. We finished our meal and felt full but not uncomfortable or "gross" the way you certainly can after such a heavy meal. Hallelujah! I have finally found a Thai Place here, seriously. I could cry tears of happiness and joy right now. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Garden Curry with shrimp and I'm obsessed with it. It's amazing. Special red curry, coconut milk with broccoli, carrots, mushrooms and basil. I ate it so fast I almost threw up. It was so good. The hubby had the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and it was so much, he barely ate half of it. We're so excited to eat our leftovers at work tomorrow. Special shoutout to their Thai Iced Tea! first off it took a while to get anyone's attention to wait on me. Then when I ordered I got Pad Thai. It was the WORST Pad Thai I ever had!! The noodles were over cooked and mushy, the food was burnt and it had a very strong lime taste without me adding more lime. There was also some very crunchy items in the dish not sure if it was a shell from a nut or an eggshell. Not sure if this was a throw back dish or if it was cooked to order. I will not come back. I was not asked how my food was, not even once, and they didn't bother to fill my water glass before they threw my bill at me. Very, Very disappointing! Not too sure what the negative reviews are about. I ordered the cucumber salad, Thai iced tea, volcano beef noodle, and garden curry for delivery. ETA: Delivery took about an hour. Tea was still iced (even though it's exceptionally hot out) and food was still hot. The curry was a good mix of sweet and spicy. The volcano beef noodle is amazing! I ordered spicy, and its pushing volcanic heat. I kind of expected that though, so I'm pleased. Cucumber salad is a little unusual. I've never experienced the Thai version. I was a little surprised that it's somewhat sweet. I guess I expected something more on the bitter vinegar spectrum... It's still fine, it's just a taste preference. This spot is not far from our home, but that is not why it is our go-to Thai take-out. It is our go-to because it is consistently great. We've tried several other Thai restaurants, even went as far as Salmon Creek, but it is just hard to beat the flavor, quality, and consistency of this amazing place so close to home. I highly recommend Thai Terrace. No only are the flavors always on point, but the service is fast and friendly. I've tried several of their dishes, from stir fry to curry to noodles and I've found them all to be delicious. My husband mostly sticks to the spicy crispy basil, and enjoys it every time. We have been faithfully for years. I understand the Covid situations and try to support our restaurants. Then today we arrive and it's busy, no problem. They call out to us and direct us to a table. Ok...first the table had not been cleaned. They bring us menus, not disposable ones so now we are skeptical that the menus are clean. About ten minutes later another family arrives. Never knew this Tasty Thai restraunt existed until today when we went for a family birthday. It's located in an indistinguishable suburban strip mall but comes with plenty of parking. Terrace is decorated nicely and feels comfortable but nice. The menu has a diverse selection to choose from and I saw 6 different dishes at our table and the presentation was excellent along with fresh, flavorful ingredients. I love spice so they have some great spices they can bring to your table to amp up your dish. Prices were on the edge of value to kind of expensive for lunch but the flavors back it up. I didnt want to be out away from the house for a very long time; as i have house full of dogs and just didnt feel right leaving them home alone hour after hour. so i can battle traffic and search for a parking spot just to get dinner in Portland. Another thing i thought even tho i didnt care for Thai Terrace my frist time eating there. I thought its been a long time perhaps they have changed. When i arrived their was no body in the dinning room it was completely empty. I sat down looked at the menu. Rather quickly decieded on Papaya salad. And Garden Curry. I made sure before ordering. To ask if the curry has dairy in it and also if the fish sauce in the papaya salad was of the very stinky kind. Both answers were no. That was good. The papaya salad was good. I asked for hot and it was more of a mild.and the portion could have been better. The curry was ok. Its more liquid curry sauce then any thing eles. I hate to say it but its the truth; they put minimal vegetables in the curry. And for $12.50 Also i cant put my finger on it to discribe it......but the curry flavour was different thats the only way i can explain it. For me the curry flavour was a miss. My family and I have been getting our Thai food here for a couple years. We have ate in and picked up to-go (have not used a food delivery service). This place hands down has the best Massaman Curry ever, and their Volcano Beef Noodles are killer as well. On the phone they can be curt, but honestly after 4+ years of ordering via phone and eating in person, it is not meant to be rude. Some associates sound more "rude" then others, but everyone is always friendly in person and the food is very timely every time we order. Defiantly a great place to get your Thai fix! read more

Ok, So I went back again and had the same thing I ordered the last time I was there. Why didn't I try something new? I guess the Peanut Thai sauce has an addictive ingredient in it....OoOooor they are playing brainwashing music in the background that made me do it. Either way..It just wasn't the same. Sure..it was good, but I think they forgot to add the spice. I do like a little heat in my meal, so this was really mild for my taste buds to really enjoy again.I was kind of bummed.
