Pretty solid Thai place. They have most of the classic dishes, and the prices aren't awful, but they are on the more expensive end. I ended up trying their pad see ew with tofu (spice level 1) and their Thai custard with sticky rice. The pad see ew was pretty good, but nothing really made it stand out. I've had better, and I've had worse. I did like that they put quite a good amount of sauce on the dish, so it wasn't too dry (granted, I did ask for extra sauce, but not all places deliver on this request). The tofu was nicely soaked and pretty well cooked. The carrot and broccoli pieces were still a little too hard. Just a hint of spice. Not bad. The Thai custard was also pretty good. The portion was more than adequate. It wasn't too sweet, and the sticky rice had a nice texture. I would have liked there to be more coconut milk, though. All in all, a pretty solid Thai spot. Delicious Thai at a little hidden gem restaurant! Although the restaurant space is small, with only a few tables, their flavors and welcoming service are big. The moment you walk through the door, staff happily greets you and gets you seated with waters and a menu to look over. The menu has all your favorite Thai options, along with a few twists of their own. I ordered the Pad Cashew Noodle and was very impressed! The noodles were soft and soaked up the sweet chili sauce wonderfully, every bite was packed with cooked veggies, and the chicken was cut small enough to mix throughout the dish. Our meals were made fresh just for us and came out very hot from the kitchen, still within a short amount of time. For the heat level I ordered a 3, which was just a little bit of a spicy kick that was enjoyable. I might go a little bit spicier next time to have more bold chili pepper flavor. This is mine and my best friend's top thai place to order from and we have been eating here for years. I always get the pad see ew and it is perfect. We always split an order of steamed dumplings, but ever since the pandemic, you only get 5 instead of 6 dumplings and barely any sauce. Bring back 6 dumplings so we don't have to keep cutting one in half! I wouldn't recommend eating inside in the winter specifically because there's no barrier against the cold. Yum!!! This place has got alllllllllll of their flavors on point. Do you know when you go somewhere for Thai food, and the flavor just is not there for some reason? This was not the case at Thai Touch. The crab rangoons were perfect, and the pad see ew was great. I ordered spicy level 1 because I ordered way too fast...what was I thinking? If you enjoy spice you should probably order at least a level 3 here. Level 1 didn't even have one red pepper flake on it. Sad! But that was 100% my fault. One thing I will say is it's pricier than your average Thai spot. Not only is the average dinner entree $15 but they make you pay extra to add any protein which I think is a bit ridiculous. That's probably one reason I won't order from here often because I can save a few bucks at other Thai places that are just as great. That's my only complaint. The young kid is real apathetic and seems like he'd rather be playing video games than talking to anyone. Plus if they don't make ur dish right, he blames it on you. I ordered what was on the menu and they threw other stuff that I couldn't eat in it. It said what comes in it on the menu and I thought that was what I would get. Very impressive food with excellent service. While I already have my favorite Thai haunts closer to the City, I am very open to adopting another favorite in the South Hills. My order was prepared very quicky and it was piping hot. The vegetables were all fresh cooked, and the spice level was perfect. What you get is authentic flavor and a delicious meal. My server was very helpful and attended to my every need. The dining room is somewhat small and a bit drafty, but the majority of people order take-out. The fried dumpling were good, though not quite what I was expected - they were VERY deeply fried. My wife had the Penang Curry which was quite good. She ordered this with brown rice and it was large enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I ordered the Pad Satay noodles. Again this is a substantial plate - dinner and lunch the next day. The whole dish was quite tasty - I would be probably bump up the spice level next time (I ordered a 5 and it had some heat, but less than I expected). On 11/6/21 my wife and I placed a takeout order from Thai Touch Kitchen over the phone. My wife searched their business on Google maps and selected the 'order' button which took us to the following website: http://orderthaitouchkitchen.com/ ( Google maps has http://orderthaitouchkitchen.com/ listed as the website for Thai Touch Kitchen under both the ORDER and MENU options) We used the website's menu and called the business to place our order. We ordered 4 entrees, each of which was listed as $10 on their website. When we picked up our food, my wife went in to pay in person and was charged $14.95, $14.95, $14.50, and $14.50 for our entrees. She asked to speak to the manager as we both felt it was unfair to pay more than their advertised price. The manager informed her that this issue has 1. happened before with other customers, 2. the website was made by "someone else" , and 3. to prevent confusion, she asks her employees to verify the total with the customer for all over the phone orders. She explained that the employee had not verified the total with us over the phone. The manager explained that they had tried to contact Google to change the website, as the website it sends you to is inaccurate, but the issue has not been fixed. My wife told her it was false advertising and wanted to be charged the price that was advertised on their website. We definitely felt like this was a 'bait and switch' type of situation. The manager refused to offer the advertised price and charged us the higher price. We believe that this business is guilty of false advertising and is using negligence as an excuse to charge more. It is the responsibility of each business to manage their website and make sure the Google links connected to their business are managed properly. We haven't really eaten thai food many times so we were excited to try something different in the area and I heard good things about this place. I ordered the pad peanut sauce dinner with chicken and my boyfriend ordered the curry fried rice. Both dinners were delicious! He said you can get a level 1-10 for how spicy you'd like your curry and he had a level 2. It was a little spicy but he said he would go for a level 4 next time. We also ordered crab Rangoon which they give you 4 of and they were a little small but tasted good. We had soup as well and I wasn't wild about it so wouldn't order that again in the future but everything else was great and the dinner portions are huge, enough for two people to split one dinner and plenty of leftovers. I should have gone with a 3 or maybe no spice at all. I went with 6 and that heat kept me from tasting the curry. I also got tofu and their tofu is the chewy type. I prefer a more creamy tofu. The dessert we tried was nicely sweet with pieces of pumpkin in it. It's a bit of a dive inside but they've added a few items to jazz it up - like mismatched ceiling light fixtures. For appetizers I would definitely order the crispy spring rolls and samosa. For the entree my favorite is the pad cashew noodles. I eat here often and it never disappoints. My favorite curries are the pumpkin, pineapple, mango, and yellow, but they are all delicious. The Thai style fried rice and the curry fried rice are also excellent. For dessert I recommend trying the Thai custard with sweet rice. It's unique and not overly sweet. You also can't go wrong with the Thai iced tea. The restaurant itself is very tiny, but I've never had a probably getting a table. However, I usually come at slightly irregular lunch and dinner hours. If you order takeout, they usually have it ready in 10-15 minutes. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Called in for a take out order. Worked like a charm. Had the Veggie tofu soup that was OK, what you would expect but not a lot of taste. Also, had the Pad Kee Mao, which is stir fired noodles with napa, bell peppers, basil and some spicy garlic sauce. TTK uses the 10 point scale for spiciness so ordered it a 5 and the employee said that is pretty spicy, and they were correct. If it had been spicier, probably would not have been able to taste the meal over the spice. So just be careful of how you order. Over all a good meal. read more

I stopped in to pick up take out. I didn't realize how small this place was but it provides some much needed diversity in the little strip of restaurants on Washington road in Mt. Lebanon. I ordered the Tom Yum soup with chicken. The soup was really good. I ordered a spice level 8 on a 10 scale. It was spicy but still so good. The spring rolls are really good and the sauce it comes with was perfect. The green curry with chicken had a great flavor. I only wish they cooked the green beans a little more. I had a craving for Thai food on a Sunday afternoon and Thai Touch Kitchen was one of the only Thai restaurants open in my area. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try for lunch. On weekends all of their entrees are only available in the dinner size so my boyfriend and I decided to order two appetizers and share an entree. For appetizers, we ordered the clear spring rolls which resembled Vietnamese Spring Rolls without meat and was accompanied with a small side of peanut dipping sauce. The spring rolls were surprisingly bland and tasted a lot like a romaine salad wrapped in rice paper. We saw a yummy looking picture on Yelp of the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and ordered that as our second appetizer. I could not eat the soup.. it tasted entirely too fishy for mine and my boyfriend's tastes. Big disappointment because it looked so appetizing. For our appetizers we shared the green curry at a spice level of 7. I liked the concept of having a spice level but I quickly found out that only determined how many red pepper flakes they sprinkled over your dish. While the food selection in this area isn't the most diverse, I am so happy for Thai Touch Kitchen! This is now my favorite Thai restaurant in the South Hills! I wasn't too worried, since this is pretty standard for most Thai places. The curry had potatoes, carrots and cabbage. The taste was good, but beware the spice. Great little place for when you need a Thai food craving filled! My go to is Pad See Ew and I think they have a great version. Be warned, their spicy scale is 1-10 and I like spicy food, but even a 4 can be sinus clearing! The green papaya salad is pretty good and my dining partner enjoyed the steamed dumplings. The Thai Iced Coffee is strong and delicious! I'd skip the fresh spring rolls though, they just didn't do it for me with bell pepper in them and just a lot of iceberg lettuce.
