    Thai custard with sticky rice
    Ulyana K.

Pretty solid Thai place. They have most of the classic dishes, and the prices aren't awful, but they are on the more expensive end. I ended up trying their pad see ew with tofu (spice level 1) and their Thai custard with sticky rice. The pad see ew was pretty good, but nothing really made it stand out. I've had better, and I've had worse. I did like that they put quite a good amount of sauce on the dish, so it wasn't too dry (granted, I did ask for extra sauce, but not all places deliver on this request). The tofu was nicely soaked and pretty well cooked. The carrot and broccoli pieces were still a little too hard. Just a hint of spice. Not bad. The Thai custard was also pretty good. The portion was more than adequate. It wasn't too sweet, and the sticky rice had a nice texture. I would have liked there to be more coconut milk, though. All in all, a pretty solid Thai spot. The prices are a bit high, but the food is pretty good. They have all the classic items. Not bad at all.

This used to be my favorite Thai place but after this experience there is no going back. Bugs in the rice & long black hair wrapped in the vegetables. I almost threw up. This is such a shame... beware. Stay away.

    Pad Cashew Noodle

Delicious Thai at a little hidden gem restaurant! Although the restaurant space is small, with only a few tables, their flavors and welcoming service are big. The moment you walk through the door, staff happily greets you and gets you seated with waters and a menu to look over. The menu has all your favorite Thai options, along with a few twists of their own. I ordered the Pad Cashew Noodle and was very impressed! The noodles were soft and soaked up the sweet chili sauce wonderfully, every bite was packed with cooked veggies, and the chicken was cut small enough to mix throughout the dish. Our meals were made fresh just for us and came out very hot from the kitchen, still within a short amount of time. For the heat level I ordered a 3, which was just a little bit of a spicy kick that was enjoyable. I might go a little bit spicier next time to have more bold chili pepper flavor. Prices are also reasonable for the large portions that provide too.

    Steamed 5 Dumplings

This is mine and my best friend's top thai place to order from and we have been eating here for years. I always get the pad see ew and it is perfect. We always split an order of steamed dumplings, but ever since the pandemic, you only get 5 instead of 6 dumplings and barely any sauce. Bring back 6 dumplings so we don't have to keep cutting one in half! I wouldn't recommend eating inside in the winter specifically because there's no barrier against the cold. We will still continue ordering from here, I just hate the dumpling situation anymore!

Yum!!! This place has got alllllllllll of their flavors on point. Do you know when you go somewhere for Thai food, and the flavor just is not there for some reason? This was not the case at Thai Touch. The crab rangoons were perfect, and the pad see ew was great. I ordered spicy level 1 because I ordered way too fast...what was I thinking? If you enjoy spice you should probably order at least a level 3 here. Level 1 didn't even have one red pepper flake on it. Sad! But that was 100% my fault. One thing I will say is it's pricier than your average Thai spot. Not only is the average dinner entree $15 but they make you pay extra to add any protein which I think is a bit ridiculous. That's probably one reason I won't order from here often because I can save a few bucks at other Thai places that are just as great. That's my only complaint. Glad I gave it a try though, and I'll definitely add it to my list of yummy Thai spots in the area. Support them if you can! *Oh and they are takeout only as of right now. Seems like there's not much space for dine in anyways.

The young kid is real apathetic and seems like he'd rather be playing video games than talking to anyone. Plus if they don't make ur dish right, he blames it on you. I ordered what was on the menu and they threw other stuff that I couldn't eat in it. It said what comes in it on the menu and I thought that was what I would get. So I complained just to make them aware not to do that. I didn't want anything free.I got a text from him after a complaint. My dish said one thing on the menu but they made it another way on their whim Low class place and a real jerk that works there. I see other ppl have complained about the same guy too.

Very impressive food with excellent service. While I already have my favorite Thai haunts closer to the City, I am very open to adopting another favorite in the South Hills. My order was prepared very quicky and it was piping hot. The vegetables were all fresh cooked, and the spice level was perfect. What you get is authentic flavor and a delicious meal. My server was very helpful and attended to my every need. The dining room is somewhat small and a bit drafty, but the majority of people order take-out. With my check came a small guava candy which was unique. Congratulations, Thai Touch, you earned your 5 stars!

More of a take out spot. There is only seating for about 22 patrons inside. I came here on a Saturday evening, and I was the only one in the restaurant. My food was pretty good. They made me my own little dish of fat noodles, in a curry sauce with tofu. Priced at $13 for dinner portion. There is a $3 BYOB fee.

    * Delivery Review Grub Hub * Loved the food! It was very hot and the spice level was exactly what we expected with the scale. The order came exactly as we ordered it. We had the pad see ew and pad thai. Both were great!! Big portions. Will order again!

    Pad Satay Noodles

Good food. Big Portions. Lots of Options. We started with two appetizers: crab rangoon and fried dumplings. The crab rangoon was quite good - the nice combo of sweet and savory in a crispy shell. The fried dumpling were good, though not quite what I was expected - they were VERY deeply fried. My wife had the Penang Curry which was quite good. She ordered this with brown rice and it was large enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I ordered the Pad Satay noodles. Again this is a substantial plate - dinner and lunch the next day. The whole dish was quite tasty - I would be probably bump up the spice level next time (I ordered a 5 and it had some heat, but less than I expected). We look forward to ordering from TTK again soon.

We didn't see much of the inside because we chose the option to enjoy our meal outside in the garden. Fortunately, we were able to snag a 5:30 PM reservation a couple Fridays ago. My friend set up notification alerts on Resy and a different party canceled their reservation the day before. This restaurant is very popular. KHAO YUM - 24 This is a 17 ingredient salad with tamarind dressing. I'm not usually a salad person, but this one was incredibly delicious and refreshing. Lots of crispy textures from the various vegetables, some juicy, tart and bitter pieces of grapefruit, and the crispy rice was the perfect fried carb on top. A bit pricy, but a great app to share for the whole table. CRISPY SHRIMP - 32 We were each able to get two pieces of shrimp among the four of us. The shrimp was batter and fried with a sweet garlicky glaze. While it was crispy and juicy, I thought it was a bit too saucy. It wasn't my favorite, but one of my friends really enjoyed the shrimp -- sauce and all. KHAO SOI - 48 The red and yellow curry was flavorful, and the egg noodles were perfectly soft with a bit of chew. The wagyu beef cheek was tender, but there wasn't much in it. Overall, I thought this was a bit too overpriced for what it was. MASSAMAN CURRY - 48 Incredibly phenomenal The massaman curry was incredibly rich with its sweet and savory flavor. Each order came with a whole lamb shank. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful -- it fell off the bone with ease. I highly recommend this entree for its delicious curry and lamb. Overall, pricy food with a elegant aesthetic. It's also more of fusion Thai food than it is authentic. Can definitely see why this is one of the more popular and well-loved restaurants in Pittsburgh!

We had a horrible culinary experience the past couple of days driving through West Virginia, Ohio, and western New York. Pittsburgh was our last stop before heading home and Kiin Lao and Thai Eatery made up for all of the culinary disappointment this weekend. Let's talk about the ambiance first. Everything about this restaurant was quite beautiful. When I say beautiful, I don't mean it in an elegant way, but an artsy street vibe way. It is hip, clean, and we'll put together. You can tell a lot of love went into the decorations and into every piece of art on its walls. The service was pretty good. The server herself was attentive when needed and left us alone when needed. The food was AWESOME. We got the papaya combo with the Thum Mak Houng option, curry puffs, grilled pork shoulder with sticky rice, and Pad Gra Prow Street Style. The papaya was "lao-style" made with fermented shrimp paste. If you love deep umami flavors, this is it for you. The papaya salad was pungent and sour and savory spicy and just so satisfying. We asked for a 6/10 spiciness and they came with the heat. The chicken skewers that came with it was flavorful too. A little bit of char on the chicken would've brought it over the top. The curry puffs were so comforting and had that south Asian flavor profile that was very welcomed. The curry and spice blend did not overwhelm the potatoes. Instead it enhanced the earthy potato flavors in the best way possible. The menu said that it came with a cucumber sauce but I don't think we got that. What we got was a more like a honey sauce. The sauce was good in itself but didn't pair well with the puffs. The grilled pork shoulder was delectable. The meat was tender and it was seasoned perfectly. Again, more char on the meat would've brought it to a new level. The only gripe I have with this order was the sticky rice. The amount of sticky rice you get with it was so small I thought it was a joke initially. Nope, it was not! I thought the Pad Gra Prow Street Style was OKAY. I would've made it a little saucier. Despite this, my significant other absolutely LOVED it. Pad Gra Prow was my significant other's favorite dish when she lived overseas. She said that this was the best Pad Gra Prow she has had on this side of the world. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We would definitely come by again when we are back this way.
