I love Thai food. Fargo/Moorhead has several places with decent food, but nothing to lose your mind over. Then, ThaiKota comes to town. We have been hearing great things but just hadn't had the chance to try some take away yet. That changed last night. We both ordered the MaMa Noodles with chicken and an order of the pork dumplings. I'm used to the wide flat noodles for this type of dish, however that spaghetti style shaped noodle is almost as good. The heat, on point! It's been a long time since I've had Thai food in the Midwest that wasn't labeled as spicy but in reality was only Lutheran hot (think ketchup and black pepper). Can't wait to try more options. They are primarily a take away restaurant, but they do have a few tables if you want to eat in. No atmosphere- but again, take away restaurant so none was expected. read more

This unassuming little Thai spot will surprise you with it's authentic northern Thai that tastes like the people making it actually give a damn. Which should be no surprise because they do. We ordered take out comprised of crispy appetizers, Kao Soi Curry, and Labb Moo and it rocked. read more

just ate there, got Crispy Gau Gee, Ka naa Moo Krob (Pork Belly) and Thai fried rice. the fried rice was good. the rest was old, clearly. The gee was cold, obviously made and fried HOURS prior. the 10 min to get get home and open it up would not have made it cold if it had just been made. plus it was hard on the outside and chewy inside... one bite and had to spit it out. The Pork looked like jelly, it was clearly old, also cold, and tasted as such. first and last time I waste $35(tip includ) at this place. read more

This restaurant is PHENOMENAL. Hands down the best for Thai and for out of most food in Fargo. Everything was spiced to perfection. This place is awesome. Have eaten there twice now, ordering a variety of dishes. Food is made fresh, flavorful and delicious. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill Thai.
