*Delivery review* I've recently become addicted to their Red Curry. This is DELISH. It's very spicy, but it is full of flavor and super comforting. I normally order this with tofu because the curry sauce coats the tofu and really makes it flavorful. If you enjoy spicy foods, I definitely recommend this dish. Other dishes I've ordered and like are: - crab rangoons - drunken noodle The quality of food is very good and everything is priced well. This is always packaged nicely when delivered and I never have an issue with things spilling. Somehow they always get it to me while it's still hot too! Stumbled across Thailicious while walking around and looking for a place to have dinner. We decided to check it out since the atmosphere was cute and cozy. I'm a huge fan of Thai food and although the food was pretty good I've had better. I opted for their pineapple fried rice; loved the presentation and it was a nice portion. I ended up taking some home cus I couldn't finish it. I really enjoyed their lemon iced tea - wasn't too sweet but had a great amount of flavor. Pricing is decent and service was really friendly. We ordered medium spicy and it was great ( we like spicy -- we could probably gone wild and had it a bit more spicy -- but medium was good) Our server Jay ( also the manager) was especially delightful and took time to talk to us about our home State -- Arizona -- and also gave us a wonderful recommendation of a new high rise building in NYC that we'd not heard of -- Summit One Vanderbilt -- we will be going this weekend. I've been dining with/ordering from Thailicious since they opened their first restaurant in Chinatown about 5 years ago, and it is the most delicious Thai food in the city with the loveliest employees. We usually get the curry puffs as an appetizer, and they are the best I've had anywhere. The crispy vegetable dumplings are also very tasty. I also love their pad Thai. Their green curry is delectable perfection. Their Tom Yum lemongrass shrimp soup is the best, full of flavor, gratifying...delicious. Thai pineapple fried rice is also a must have. And, I had a Thai iced tea from them the last time I ordered, and it was very, very good. I do wish they carried garlic chili paste, as the packets of chili paste they have are not my favorite, but that's my one and only complaint. read more

I think my lucky streak when it comes to Thai food has hit an end-- despite the high ratings, the amazing staff, and the nice decor, the food came out subpar. Every time I visit a new Thai place, I get the Pad Thai to be safe. I'm sorry to say that it was not very flavorful (though well presented). Similarly my boyfriend orders duck over rice every time, and he noted that the duck was dry. I was also disappointed at how loud the music was being blasted at the restaurant, it made having a conversation very difficult. Oh well. I recommend the roti as the sweet curry is surprisingly stuffed full with potato chicken pieces onions etc. (Not the usual sauce only). The calamari was crunchy but I prefer it piping fresh from the fryer. It wasnt hot and had cooled off in the kitchen somewhere hence took a star off. Dropped in on a recent trip to New York. After visiting three other restaurants in the area and being told there was a 2 hour wait basically everywhere, we ended up at Thailicious--the Thai restaurant whose logo reminds me of an old-timey soda fountain shop. Inside, the space is clean, modern, woods and grays--yadda yadda, nothing exciting (except for the logo). The staff was friendly and attentive, but the gentleman who took our order was difficult to understand and had a hard time understanding us as well (English is not his first language). Unfortunately, this meant one of the items we ordered didn't go through, and we just decided not to remind them later. For appetizer, my friend and I shared the roti with chicken curry. It was good, but nothing out of this world. The roti was a little chewier than other's I've had. I also ordered a house vegetable soup, which was really disappointing. The broth was 100% flavorless. I kept joking that the broth was basically just the same water they used to steam the veggies in. It was steamed vegetables with tofu in a clear broth of steam juice. The Sexy Duck Salad (which is just fun to order) was delicious. The duck was crispy and I loved how textures contrasted and complemented one another. My husband and I spontaneously came here early on a Friday evening. There were a couple of diners inside already but the restaurant was by no means full. The restaurant had a modern and adorable ambience, and was very clean. It looked very new. The staff gave us water and menus immediately, and were very attentive. We decided on two mains, the mango curry and the cashew stir fry with tofu. Our food was served quickly after we ordered. I had requested brown rice (an additional $1.50) to replace the standard white rice that came with my stir fry, but they had brought white. They quickly rectified this after I told the waitress though. The cashew stir fry was delicious, and had ample servings of vegetables throughout, though the tofu pieces were a little scant. My husband's mango curry was delicious, and very mildly spicy. Both dishes were very flavorsome. The service was perfect - kind and attentive. Our water glasses were continuously topped up. Prices were very modest for Manhattan. Would definitely recommend for a casual meal, and will be back. read more

The serving size was also pretty small and I was still hungry after. I also had the drink called Lady in Red. This drink was so refreshing and was exactly what I needed on that hot summer day.
