    Peanut Curry
    Lynne C.

Recently had a great dinner at Top Thai Greenwich! I had the Larb Salad, which was super flavorful and fresh. Got it as my entree with a bowl of rice and was very satisfied and full. The peanut curry is also very good. It had good spice and lots of vegetables. The restaurant itself is very small but service is very speedy. The restaurant is nice for a casual meal, and they have a good lunch special too. They also had a pretty expansive drinks and mocktail menu that I'm definitely interested in trying.

Ordered: Lychee Mojito Mocktail (~$7) Appetizer Platter (~$39): any 3 appetizers - roti massaman, grilled skirt steak, and Zaab wings Spicy Basil Fried Rice w Shrimp (~$24): with basil, bell pepper, onion, bamboo shoot, carrot, string beans, eggplant, egg, and Thai chili basil sauce Pad See Ew w Beef (~$24): fresh wide cut rice noodle, egg, Chinese broccoli, black pepper and sweet soy sauce Aya's take: Halal Thai in NYC is still not easy to come by and luckily, Top Thai is doing it right for all of us to enjoy! They have 2 locations and this is the smaller and more casual of the two. The menu seems the same but if you're looking for a nicer ambiance, their Carmine St location is it! We got the Appetizer Platter to start which is a sampler of any 3 appetizers. The Roti Massaman was so comforting, sweet, and savory, and paired so well with the warm, flaky, and buttery roti. The Grilled Skirt Steak was so tender and cooked to a perfect medium. The Zabb Wings were the slightest bit spicy, more tangy, and super crispy. A very satisfying start! We split the Spicy Basil Fried Rice w Shrimp and Pad See Ew w Beef which were both executed so well. The ingredients were clean, balanced, and full of flavor. They give a generous portion of shrimp & vegetables in the Spicy Basil Fried Rice which I loved and it didn't taste too greasy. The Pad See Ew was a bit too sweet rather than smoky compared to others I've had but it was still great and the beef was super tender. My Lychee Mojito Mocktail was just a Mojito Mocktail with one lychee ball in it - I was expecting the lychee flavor to be incorporated into the drink. Refreshing but not what I was expecting. Good lunch at the OG Top Thai!

Both Top Thai locations are great!! Always amazing service, friendly and helpful ~ Love the appetizer platters and the thai iced teas. Always a good meal, reliable, doesn't disappoint ~

This is the type of Thai restaurant that convinces people that Thai cuisine is delicious. Their menu is full of beautiful pictures and recommendations so it's easy to try something new! I had the Top Thai Curry with steak. Immediately added to my island food list - so yummy. They cooked the steak perfectly. My friends had the basil udon with crispy duck and loved it. This is a small restaurant with a small staff that's very attentive and friendly.

Oy! It was hotter than the hinges in hell when Jamie W and I were strolling in the West Village that we couldn't even think about having anything to eat for lunch. However, we could envision having something cold to drink, and this Thai spot on Sullivan had quite a tiki mocktail selection. We decided to step in and try a pair to quench our parched lips. Jamie ordered the $10 Mango Mai Tai Mocktail and added $2 to make it a large (photo: https://yelp.to/QReovaWRg2). I copied his approach and went with the $10 Frozen Strawberry Pina Colada along with the $2 surcharge (photo: https://yelp.to/ofWCmODOB1). It was kinda amusing they came in cold wine carafes with big straws. They pretty much hit the spot temperature-wise though they were darn sweet. The only thing that bugged us about the service was how hard the server was pushing us to order food with our drinks. Pretty relentless, but we just couldn't stomach Pad Thai on a sweltering day. MOCKTAILS - 3.5 stars...gigantic mocktail slushies double as desserts AMBIANCE - 3 stars...small space, tight fit SERVICE - 3 stars...pushing hard on their food TOTAL - 3 stars...they'll be happy if you're hungry for Thai RELATED - Thirsty in NYC? We're back and this time we are great. Love having this place close to school and with their lunch special! for 18 you get a small app, a main, and a drink. I recommend their noodles! pad see ew and basil udon were good and the service was good. cute tiny place and the service is always better than the carmine location

Solid spot. Solid food. Solid flavors. Exactly what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. It's certainly pricey (~$22 for every dish) and the only vegetarian dish is the fried rice. So very limited vegetarian menu

One of my favorite places that we stopped to eat at during my NYC visit, and the only place I'm writing a Yelp review for. Everything we ordered was delicious and filling. We got the $18 lunch deal on the back of the menu, which came with an app, an entree, and a drink! This is definitely not one of those touristy, trendy places, but more of a hole-in-the-wall iykyk spots. It can be easily written off if you're just walking by, but please take a moment to try the food. I'm from LA so I know good Thai food, and this place really hit the spot after a week of dollar pizzas and deli subs. Additionally the service was amazing! They're so attentive and accommodating, and very sweet to every customer. They do everything with a smile on their face. Thank y'all so much!

Amazing ambiance, great food. Got the panang chicken and green curry chicken. Service is really nice well

3.5 stars. I would've said 4 stars, but the Pad See Ew I got was just average for the price, and it was a bit too salty. The wait staff was kind though, and there are a lot of other good-looking options on the menu. I think it's nice they give a 10% student and faculty discount, but I wouldn't come out of my way as a regular customer. The space is cozy and a lot more compact that I expected.

The restaurant is on the smaller side. There only a few tables so they can only accommodate a few parties at a time. We came in around 8:30pm on a Saturday night and were told we would have to wait. The worker was super nice updating us when the table would be ready. We were seated within 20 mins. After ordering, the food came out fast as well. I shared the top thai curry and pad see ewe with my friend. We both liked the top thai curry. It was creamy and had the perfect amount of kick. Lots of veggies. We ordered it with chicken. The pad see ewe was a bit salty, but it was not bad. I liked how thick the noodles were and they were cooked perfectly and not mushy like some places cook their noodles. Overall pretty good meal.

This is a halal place so going on the last day of Ramadan around fast breaking time meant the place was packed! Lots of people also came to do pick ups while we waiting. The restaurant is small but has a decent amount of seating. Each table has a fire lamp and it cozy yet chic. The food was overall amazing. The beef noodle soup had the most amazing broth- my sister described it as a flavor bomb. The dumplings were good- I would say the chicken and shrimp were great and vegetable was very disappointing. I wouldn't get that one. It tasted like warm water. The massaman curry was very good and flavorful. Overall the food portions were decent and when shared between 3 people it was a lot of food. That being said it's not cheap- well priced I would say for it being halal. The drinks were also very good! I love that they have tasty and many mocktails! I would say the lychee coconut mojito was very good and the Thai tea was good but I don't recommend the boba.

Looking for something to eat a friend and I found this place on Yelp. We were seated rather quickly. It was a full house on a Sunday night. The cocktails that we ordered were tasty but not strong at all. The crab ragoon was good but it could've been better had it been cooked longer to be hotter & a better crisp texture. The skirt steak and rice was really good. The only thing was my friend and I ordered different temperature steaks & we believe that we were given each others meals. So my friend didn't enjoy their food much.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip.
