Went here to celebrate my 28th birthday celebration with my wife and daughter. Best Thai Food in Etobicoke. Great ambiance. Stellar customer service.

Got takeout. Overall very tasty. The khao so (noodles in a coconut curry sauce) was the star for me. Pad Thai, pineapple rice, basil beef and spring rolls all good not spectacular but worth the price. Now the hot and sour soup was exactly that! Nice for a change that it's not a wimpy spice level but more robust and flavourful.

I decided to try this place as I was in this area and it had good ratings. We got a table without reservations, the decor was really nice. We ordered Thai Ice Tea, Cashew Curry, Holy Basil and Spring Rolls. All items were average in taste. We ordered the cashew curry as mild spice still it was very bland. The service was very slow, we almost waited for 45 mins for our food to arrive. And when it did it was wrong order!

Got here for dinner tonight! We have visited the one in Mississauga but discovered there's a new one in Etobicoke (close to home) ... So happy to have them near by The food is delish! We ordered Malay curry, fried rice and spring rolls. Everything was great, fresh ingredients. Parking could be an issue but there's street parking GreenP on opposite streets. Highly recommended... we'll keep coming back!

I came here for an intimate celebration for my birthday. Great standard service and the waitstaff was willing to sing happy birthday on her own with my family lol. The decor of the restaurant is elegant and welcoming. The food was excellent and authentic. I had high expectations for this location since I had visited their College location before. We had the veggie green curry (even mild is a bit spicy), grand pad thai with beef and ginger chicken. I would come here again!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, they provide decent portions and the presentation is nice. The restaurant is cute and colourful and inside, you'd never expect that looking from the outside. The staff are attentive and kind as well. I would recommend this spot if you're in Etobicoke.

Had an amazing late night dinner on our first night in the Toronto-area at Thairoomgrand! We enjoyed the Panang chicken and shrimp, Ginger chicken with jasmine rice, Thai spring rolls and Crispy fish. All items were excellent and experienced great customer service. Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent. The food was served in a timely manner, given that it was a Friday evening. The chili chicken was the best and paired well with the fried rice. The noodles were decent. Overall, it was a good restaurant to check out. The ambiance is very nice and friendly.

There's paid street parking on both sides of the street. I did read a review that there's complimentary parking behind the restaurant though. Mai Bistro has a small patio out front that's covered and indoor seating as well. We opted to sit on the patio. Since it was our first time at the restaurant the waitress explained the various menus to us. There was a written menu for Today's Specials and some of them were crossed out. I'm guessing that those items have already sold out. I saw a photo of the menu from a couple of years ago and in comparing with the menu from the other day I can see that prices have increased for some dishes. To me, prices veer on the higher side. The grilled lemongrass pork with rice and asian slaw was $22 and the shrimp ceviche with fresh salsa and avocado on a crispy tortilla was $11. My Vietnamese style pork tacos were a good deal for $10. Even at the regular price of $14 the price isn't too different from tacos at other restaurants. The pork was flavourful and portions are like what I found from food trucks in LA (but leave you wanting more).

He was incredibly great at checking in and making us feel valued. The ambiance of this place was my favourite thing. I love the detail put into the decor of this place! Super vintage, abstract and the gold accents were beautiful. It felt like out of a story book.

We walked in late after a movie on a weeknight, and there was plenty of seating; we snagged the best seat in the house right by the bar so we could watch the food be prepared. We probably ordered about half the menu and a cocktails. Highlights were the salmon aburi, which was fun to eat and a good size and the moto bun, which was extremely filling. The con of sitting at the counter is that you saw they actually fry the bread for this slightly (and towel it off) before making the sandwich, which is kind of gross, but man, was it good. It was a bit perilous getting to the bathroom up these windy stairs in the back so be aware if you have mobility or issues. Service was quick, casual and kind.

This is the American-Japanese izakaya at its most considered: a place where the concept feels genuinely inhabited rather than merely adopted. The room is intimate and unhurried, possessed of the kind of mood lighting that flatters both the food and the conversation. The atmosphere skews decidedly hipster in the best sense -- effortlessly cool without tipping into affectation. Noise levels remain convivial rather than oppressive, making it well-suited to a romantic evening or an occasion where one actually wishes to be heard. The menu is deliberately compact, a restraint that signals focus. Signatures such as the Dyno Wings, Salmon Aburi, and Hamachi Tartare reveal a kitchen fluent in the language of Japanese flavour while unafraid to let an American sensibility -- bold, satisfying, approachable -- guide the hand. Small plates arrive with the casual ease of izakaya tradition, inviting grazing and sharing in equal measure. The bar program is a particular strength; the cocktails are handled with genuine care and merit serious attention. Service carries the warmth and easy charisma of a neighbourhood spot that has long since found its footing. The staff possess a breezy, unforced personality -- refreshingly unpretentious, and all the more welcoming for it. For those seeking a date-night destination that trades in atmosphere without sacrificing substance, Hanmoto remains one of Toronto's more quietly brilliant propositions.

The only item that didnt contain these were the tacos which werent anything special.
