Food was delicious and hospitality was top notch! We shared the pesto shrimp salad and a pizza; the salad came highly recommended and exceeded the hype. The salad was also HUGE. The pizza was delicious. The bread was served with a delicious sun-dried tomato pesto (we asked if we could buy a whole jar it was so incredible). I highly recommend making a stop!

Came here around 7pm on Saturday as a party of 7. Got seated in a couple minutes. The restaurant was almost full. Since there was only one server at the time it took about 10-15 minutes to get our orders taken. The food came out within 5-10 minutes. They gave us some chili flakes and parmesean. The chicken alfredo was good. Not too salty but the chicken was tender and the pasta was just right. The insalata pizza was super delicious. The arugula and prosciutto gave it a lot of flavor. The garlic bread didn't have much garlic flavor on it and some of the garlic was burnt however the bread was fluffy. Overall a great italian place. A bit slow service because they were understaffed but understandable. The server was also very friendly.

What an experience. From the decor, to the service, to the amazing food. Just wow!! The owners are amazing. The chef (wife/owner) told me about her 50 year old sourdough starter after I inquired about the fabulous bread. It has the best chew on it. I asked for a couple loaves to go. Ordered a pizza from the lunch menu. Yum !! I feel like I could go on & on about how great everything was ! Will definitely share this gem with everyone who enjoys a great dining experience as much as I do.

    Truly amazing Caprese Salad!!!

I have to start out by saying that I was originally going to give this place 3 stars because while the food was good, it was not great, more like average overall but then I remembered that amazing Caprese Salad me and the wife shared and just for that salad alone, I decided to add another star to the review. We stopped at this new place that a coworker had recommended since we mentioned trying something local but new (to us). Since this was located in a potentially busy place for a Friday night, we decided to try them for an early lunch instead. When we arrived, the place was just starting to open so not everything was setup. Out waiter was very nice, and brought us all of the specials and decided to chat with us about the place. All-in all it was a very nice experience but I felt the food itself, our main entrees, were really nothing to scream about. I had a pizza and the wife enjoyed their meatballs and both were very meh.. But the hero of the whole meal was definately that Caprese Salad, OMG!! I had never had a Caprese Salad that was that good. The tomatoes were great, the cheese, the light homemade pesto, everything was simply divine. If anything we will be returning to this place just for that salad because it was that damm good!

Been here about 20 times since they opened in 2020. The food is authentic, fresh and on point. The owners are active in their customer engagement and deliver excellent customer service. The ambiance is quaint and inviting. The location might not be desirable for lazy folks but there isn't a better Italian restaurant in Carpinteria or Summerland. Highly recommend the pizza if you're dining in. The ganberi spicy shrimp, lasagna and the risotto are delicious.

I loved the casual setting, prices reasonable and food was delicious. Great for a family dinner with the kids. Service was excellent. Passionfruit dessert not good but everything else was delicious

YUM! I picked up lasagna to go and called it in at 4:30. They told me it would be ready at 5 and it was. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. They give you a small container of cheese and utensils/napkins. I have never tasted lasagna like this. It was on the pricier side, but well worth it in my opinion.

My favorite pizza in Santa Barbara area. Thin crust and exceptional sauce, sometimes it's better than others but always good.

The food and honey are fresh and delicious, and their honey hand balm is soft and deeply moisturizing. Their staff are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet and you can tell how passionate they are about the business and making a positive impact on their community. At one point they noticed I didn't get my order in time, and brought out an extra slice to thank me for my patience, which goes to show their attention to making their customers happy and quickly correcting any mistakes. Food was extra fresh and absolutely delicious. Pepperoni Pizza - 5/5. Soft sourdough crust and mini pepperoni cups. Salad - 5/5. Fresh. Croutons and ranch made in house. Cookies - 5/5. Peanut butter chuck and chocolate chip cookies were perfectly chunky. Hot Honey - 5/5. Extra spicy (and when I say spicy, I mean spicy), and goes well with the pizza! Pizza, salad and soda all great but Friday night's late Fall service deserves honorable mention and recognition. Firstly, my order was taken with accuracy and attention. Was already willing to throw a couple bucks tip but no digital option for that. Young man at the counter let me know he greatly appreciated the sentiment none the less. Impressive. After experiencing an epic journey across their vast landscape of salad bar spread, I was posted up at one of their 2 touch screen soda taps when I heard my name called letting me know my pizza was ready. I was still at the soda tap vacillating between another 6 ounces of Vanilla Cream or maybe Orange when the same young man working the register came all the way over to make sure I had heard my pizza was ready. That's when I started to realize I definitely made the right choice coming to Pizza Man Dan's tonight. As with any great story we experienced a great ending after my niece's greasy fingers and waxed cup turned into ice on the floor. When alerted, the same guy from behind the counter lept into action addressing the cleanliness and safety issues we had created and was very gracious about the whole thing. Top notch Dan! Well done cultivating a service culture that promotes in house family dining. I'll remember to bring cash for the jar next time

For a place called "Little Dom's Seafood," the menu barely offers any seafood at all; no clams, no crab, no lobster. Just one fish option, oysters, and maybe a shrimp dish. The rest is pizza, salad, and pasta, which felt misleading. The only thing we enjoyed was my youngest's spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was great, and the meatballs were genuinely delicious. Everything else missed the mark: * The fish crudo was so heavily seasoned and oily that you couldn't taste the fish. * The margherita pizza was undercooked. * The fish sandwich was drowning in sauce, and the brioche bun was soggy and greasy. * Even the Diet Coke tasted watered‑down and off. Service didn't help. We waited far too long despite the dining room being mostly empty. We were told they were "really busy," but there were plenty of open tables. For $165, the value just wasn't there. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a genuinely poor experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't return. Oh wait the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well equipped that was a great experience and the restaurant looks great and has very comfortable tables and seats

Wife went for the Crimson Horizon, and she enjoued it. I got a sip and it was smoother butterier than the Firestone cali squeeze? I tried the Avocado Honey Ale since can't go wrong with description of amber honey ale! Was told it was a version of their kolsch with local honey. Wow, it was smooth with a bit of sweet finish, so addictive!!! Still had hours to drive so couldn't just have as many as I wanted, but I checked online and seemed Albertsons sold it so figured I can just pick them up back at home. But the gentleman resting at the bar told me he delivers their beer but only up to the hills. I guess maybe available in stores up to Camarillo, but not over that hill/mountain. I had to have more of it, and they had 6 packs in the cooler for purchase so went for a pack. The green cans are such delightful vessels to hold the even more delightful liquid inside. Wife even cut out the top and using the cute cans as planters, lol! The cans poured out at home was excellent as well, very fresh and refreshing and could get tiny hints of avocado on sips. Just a great beer! After browsing the brewery, it seems avocado honey ale is their signature beer, so I got lucky to choose that from the menu, lol. While enjoying the beer, the amtrak train blew it's horn to leave from the Carpinteria station, so we rushed out to wave and enjoy seeing that go by right in front as well. I am sure the locals were shaking their heads at our excitement of seeing the train go by, one gentleman when leaving even complimented my kid's dance moves from when we were out there to greet and send off the train, lol! Awesome local spot and great folks, just a very relaxing spot to enjoy the delicious avo honey ale! Just hidden so maybe not many visitors to Carpinteria find it, but I picked it out from search for brewery and chose this over the other one on the main streets. What a find for an out of towner! Hope they can expand out or grow their delivery area, maybe get it sent to total wine which must have a distribution center. Otherwise, this is a must stop for any SB trips for sure!
