[[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was really good, service is amazing, and the ambiance is great inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely on the pricey side, but if you are into Italian food, they have many options. Most of their menu is pastas and have a gluten free option if needed. They give you amazing bread as you wait and have many dessert options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I do not recommend sitting outside because it is loud, too many waiters and bussers walking in and out, and people waiting to check in to the host a foot from your table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would say that they should make a waiting area for those who are waiting not lurk around those sitting outside. But otherwise, no other comments!

What a wonderful evening! So delightful to have gone and enjoy authentic ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the ambience and exceptional service all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The complimentary bread with pesto sauce is tasty. Calamari was fresh and not over breaded just right. Had the fettuccine al tartufo/ truffle pasta that has been the most exceptional experience of pasta I've had, Life changing with the truffle. The pizza dough very good and the sauce as well. I felt that the tiramisu was the first time actually having a tiramisu. All authentic dishes, very happy to have gone and enjoy the Tre Lune experience.

Another fabulous experience. Tre Lune has become my favorite restaurant in a city of amazing places. Always the very best, friendly and attentive service with superb food. I had today's special. A pan-seared pork chop in a mushroom gravy with potatoes and Brussels sprouts, with a consistently great Caesar salad. Can't wait to go back for my favorite Loster Linguine in a tomato sauce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love sitting outside on a beautiful day, but it would be better without the clear plastic cocoon-like enclosure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nevertheless

This is one of the best breakfasts in Santa Barbara. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is traditional yet warm[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service is efficient, friendly and professional. The food is top notch and the prices were not crazy. It was so nice to have a complete dining experience for breakfast.

    Amalfi Pasta

Tre Lune on Coast Village Road in Montecito is a classy Italian restaurant. I chose the Amalfi pasta which contained your lobster, mussels, scallops, and shrimp served over spinach fettuccine. Unfortunately I didn't think my food was that great. I feel like I've had better elsewhere. My seafood pasta actually tasted a little bit fishy like the fish had been sitting in it juices and was not properly rinsed even the wine was not that great. The service however was good despite the restaurant being busy and our waiter was entertaining. I did enjoy an old fashioned which was pretty good as well. I don't know necessarily if I would come back to Tre Lune, but maybe to try something different on the menu. We had high expectations for my dish but it was not very impressive.

    Cannelloni Al Forno

Visiting Santa Barbara for a week and Tre Lune was highly recommended. Juan was great and had excellent and thoughtful recommendations for a first visit here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Busy and cozy atmosphere that's fun, but can be a loud if you're looking for something calm and conversational.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was overall pretty good. The cacio e Pepe was more Alfredo/creamy than I normally see it. The chicken Canneloni al Forno needed more seasoning depth/flavor. I would go back and try other items. I'm sure the pizza is good, and would definitely try that!

    gnocchi tartufati
    Clarissa N.

I went here for lunch with my family. I got the gnocchi which was really good and very filling. The gnocchi was very big and the sauce was very creamy. It was a bit fatty for my liking but so if I were to come back I'd get something else. The service was great they would always check up on us regularly. They give you free bread with a balsamic which wasn't my favorite because i prefer just butter or oil. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd recommend sitting outside cause the street view was beautiful, not busy at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was decent - quite overpriced. Got their: Burrata 2/5 - nothing exceptional Penne Alla Norma 4/5 - the sauce was great and so was the eggplant Tiramisu 4/5 - soft, flavorful and fluffy Service was good - we went 40 minutes before closing so service was a bit rushed. Great ambience; the interiors are very well done. Parking - free, right outside. Limited on the weekends.

Great place. Really genuine experience as staff remembers details about my prior visits/ recognizes me, and I don't go all that often! That gnocchi is just unmatched.. melts in your mouth and the flavor is so rich. Love the focaccia bread in the basket, always asking for that one more than the other options in the assortment. Seating does feel a bit crammed which isn't the most pleasant, but it is a pretty small place that attracts a large crowd so what can you do!

We came here for my mother's birthday food and service were great! We enjoyed it. We did got seated outside because the restaurant was full. Night time was bit cold the server was super nice he helped putted up the gas heaters on both side of our table.

Underrated. Step off the Coastal Road in Monticieto right into little Italy. The ambiance is charming and quaint. The staff warm, professional and caring from the hostess to the wait staff. I was reticent to share the short version of a hard few weeks, after I was asked how I was doing. I waited a bit after the waiter asked, but I dared to share. The waiter was authentically warm and caring. He even comped my dessert to share my pain. Truly remarkable. Monticieto can have a snob factor, but this place imported the warmth of a true family run restaurant direct from Italy. Oh, the food, remarkably delicious.

Grilled veal chop with porcini mushrooms sauce.

Food and service was good. Very good assortment of bread. Went on a Monday night and it was packed so reservations is a must unless you want to sit outside on the sidewalk. Had the grilled veal chop with porcini mushrooms sauce = delicious. My husband had the veal scaloppini and it was good as well but we both agreed my veal chop was better.

It is worth mentioning that it takes a little time and is a little challenging getting to the restaurant from the valet area, for those who might be a little physically challenged or slower moving. I do believe that they have an elevator to take you down to the restaurant level though! Reservation-wise they have two options, the four course Prix Fixe menu (which I chose) and a three hour Chef's Tasting Menu. For my menu, I was able to select from about 3-4 options in every course, and there were some available add ons as well. I loved the La Mora Messicana NA Cocktail, it paired nicely with all of my dishes and still felt fun and margarita-esque. Of all the dishes I ate during the evening, the standout for me was the Yolk Gnocchetti Sardi Risotti with Stephanie's Uni Santa Barbara Abalone, Yuzu, and Caviar. It somehow combined all of my favorite things and made what felt like a comfort dish, but elevated. The Chef's Bites at the beginning and end were also delicious, I loved the little blueberry tart. I would definitely return for another meal here, and recommend it to friends or family.

When our Lyft arrived, employees rushed over to open the doors, and when we asked where the restaurant was, the front desk employee actually stepped away from the desk to personally point us in the right direction. The walk to the restaurant is a bit long since it overlooks the beach, but it was a beautiful night and ended up feeling relaxing and special. (Particularly on the way back when we were full from the tasting menu) I just wouldn't wear uncomfy heels. One interesting touch: we overheard the hostess offering another couple the option to put their phones away for the evening so they could fully experience dinner distraction-free. I ended up keeping mine away too and honestly enjoyed being more present during the meal. As a side note, another couple took photos of every meal and there didn't appear to be a stigma regardless. We did the tasting menu, and our waiter was fantastic with recommendations. All the staff was great, honestly. What stood out most to me compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited was the focus on seasonal ingredients and vegetables. That night featured Harry's berries and asparagus throughout several dishes. My favorite was probably the burrata with Harry's berries and rhubarb. There are quite a few optional upgrades throughout the tasting menu, including caviar and upgraded steak options, but we only added the chocolate bar selection at the end, which was excellent. I also appreciated the atmosphere. You could hear the waves crashing through the open doors, but it still stayed warm and comfortable inside. The noise level was lively without being overwhelming, and the recently added piano really elevated the experience. Some dishes seemed to sing to the symphony. Overall, I wouldn't say it was the best meal I've ever had, but I absolutely would return. Several dishes highlighted the ingredients so beautifully that I'd love to come back during another season to try a different menu. Solid experience and felt more or less felt worth the price.

Now that I've come back from Italy, I have a greater appreciation for Aperitivo and what it stands for. Definitely fell in love with the concept of aperitivo in Italy, and this restaurant really embodies that concept. Sat down and got myself a Negroni. It was pretty damn good and close to what a real negroni would taste like if it had Campari. Was pleasantly surprised that they gave us snacks on the side (in true spirit of aperitivo) and then proceeded to crush some crudo and mortadella sandwich. Afterwards, ended the night off with delicious affogato. Really brought me back to my time in Italy. The menu is always fresh and seasonal, so there's always something new to look forward to. I'm still thinking of the pistachio gelato here. Hands down the best pistachio flavored gelato in town! I love how they served it with pieces of pistachio. First bite was heavenly. Sometimes you can't really taste the pistachio in a gelato, but clearly they've nailed it here. For eats, I tried the Crème di Carciofi. It's marinated artichoke and fava bean spread, confit garlic, pine nuts, mint, and olive oil. Served with toasted bread. This was excellent! It's comparable to hummus, but with a totally different flavor profile. Easily serves 2-3 people. I also ordered the Crudo. It was light, delicate and so fresh! This one is not shareable because it's too delicious to share. For cocktails you can't go wrong with a Spritz. I tried the Torino Spritz which was perfectly made and refreshing.
