Very postive experience overall. Waitress/owner took the time to walk through the menu with js and highlight the specials and what makes them different from the same dish elsewhere. We had the home made chips and they were fantastic. I thenk asked about the onion rings and they are beer battered right there and served fresh, would recommend getting some bbq dipping sauce. Never going there again! Had to try the lobster sandwich after reading reviews but we were horribly disappointed. Lobster sandwich was on a hoagie bun with way too much mayo/sauce. Certainly not worth $24.99! Also ordered the fish and chips. It was overcooked on the verge of burnt and hard. I had to take off the very thick batter to eat the fish inside. The cook in the back was apparently mad and was constantly yelling that he wanted a break. Perhaps that's why our food was so bad. We were seated next to the window and heard every word he said so that tells you how loud he was. We could hear him shouting " I need to have a break for 30 minutes! I've been here since 11:00 and if I don't get a break I'm going to be f--king mad!" As if he wasn't already mad. Lol. When we asked who he was, turns out he was a partner in the business! He obviously didn't care about customer satisfaction or the atmosphere with customers in the restaurant. Makes you wonder why he would sabotage his own business with his temper and cussing. We had a child with us and sent her out to the car to wait while we finished up to pay our bill. I don't see this business surviving when the owner can't control his temper around his customers and children. Never going back!!! read more

Was planning to try this place for the first time for Fathers Day takeout. We don't eat in restaurants due to high risk COVID symptoms for our son. Had the order all decided and ready to go for a couple weeks. Called to place the order and they said they are not doing takeout right now. SUPER disappointed!! Not sure when and if we will ever give it another shot as takeout is our only option and doesn't seem they are equipped well enough to guarantee they can support takeout. Family and I were craving lobster rolls and this was the first place that came up on Yelp so we thought we would try it. It did not disappoint! The lobster roll was one of the best we have ever had! We also order the pastrami sandwich that the owner recommended and wow it was, again, one of the best we have ever had! Compelled to comment, not really my thing, butt. This is actually my 3-4th visit. The first time at their original location newly opened and totally loved the lobster roll!! 2-3rd time (ok so this is my 4th) we visited the new location and had mediocre experiences. Tonight after yelping for clam chowder and reading glowing reviews that i now suspect as fake, i went for a hotdog and chowder. While hot dog was, might i say good (I was very hungry) the chowder was bad! the broth was water. As expected there was an upcharge to sub soup for fries. I took one spoonful and that was it. There were a lot of clams but broth was tasteless... When waitress came to see if i wanted to take it home i did share my thoughts, and then the main waitress (im sure owner or some invested person) came over to inform me that "I am from Boston and that is how you get it there") Have not visited state but im pretty sure NOT!. She also informed me that my waitress should have informed me that they "do not add a lot of flour to broth" Hell she should have told me our clam chowder comes with a watery broth, but she was a good waitress and of course she did not and nor should she have!! To their credit they did remove upcharge from bill but a word to the wise! Please don't pee on my leg and tell me its raining! That was not Boston Clam Chowder! Thats all i got! peace out! read more

We love this restaurant for so many reasons! Everything we have tried has been delicious! My favorite is the lobster rolls and my husband loves their hamburger. The menu is hilarious and very entertaining. You have to see it to believe it! The staff are all great and the cook is an artist. The restaurant was dirty and had a weird smell. We should've left when we walked in and saw it. The food was not good. The clam chowder had butter floating on the surface. The chili fries had a very strange taste. The Bavarian pretzel was like a frozen pretzel that wasn't even heated enough. The cheese sauce tasted like it came out of a jar. We thought the food was pretty good, but as much as I hate to say it, the service was really bad and slow. We walked out onto the patio and half the tables were covered in dirty dishes, and stayed that way the whole time we were there. We ordered, and when our food arrived we still didn't have napkins or silverware. The girl said she would bring us some, along with ketchup. We waited about 5 minutes, then just started eating with our hands because we were short on time. About half way through our meals we had to go inside and get our own utensils and ketchup. I get it, places are short staffed, but this was really disappointing. The chicken sandwich and tabbouleh salad were actually pretty tasty, but the bad service kind of tainted our whole experience. We will probably try it again, but will go when we have more time. If they don't have enough staff to properly run things, they should just set up a bus stations, a water station, and a bin of place settings so customers can do it themselves instead of waiting and waiting. read more

Went here today (Saturday) for lunch with a girlfriend. We both got the Electric Chair burger (comes with mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, jalapeños, bleu cheese and buffalo sauce) and it was AMAZING! The fries were crispy, thick, and hot. Get the ^Crack^ (dessert - saltines coated in chocolate, caramel and pecans)! It's addictive. The staff was so friendly. They made sure we were well supplied with ketchup, ranch and anything else we needed. Staff all wore masks and they give you your food in to-go boxes but there's picnic tables outside where you can sit. Definitely recommend this place! Fun fact: they also pack the lettuce and tomatoes separately in the to-go container so the burger doesn't get soggy. Love the extra thoughtfulness! read more

Went with my friend for a bite. It was amazing. We tried their special which was a fried green tomato sandwich with fries and a side of pickled cucumbers and watermelon. The watermelon was sweet and contrasted nicely with the crunch of the cucumbers and bite of acidity. The sandwich has a nice toasting on the bread. The fried green tomatoes held onto its crisp edges. The French fries were perfectly seasoned and extra crispy. We tried their dirty fries as well. The cheese was lovely and not overwhelming and the chili was entirely meat based and hearty. The shanks were mind blowing. Crispy outside with a hint of a kick. Inside was moist and the meat fell off the bone. It paired perfectly with the Asian slaw in the middle that a bit of Wasabi. What a wonderful surprise! This place has both Cajun (Gumbo, Jambalaya) and New England (Lobster Rolls and Chowders). I have not tasted Gumbo like this since Louisiana! The others at my table said the Lobster Rolls were delicious..... not too much dressing to mask the big hunks of lobster! Atmosphere - let's say eclectic casual. The food was so-so. The "joint' was little rough on the interior, but the wait-staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the "Electric Chair" burger. It was grilled just right, but the bun was cold when it arrived. They could have thrown it on the grill for a few seconds just to toast it a bit. The place reeked of burger grease - which lingered on my clothing long after leaving the restaurant. The "sweetie" fries (sweet potato) were pretty good, but could have used some savory spice so they would be more memorable. I asked for Ranch dressing to go with the fries, but it wasn't home-made. Just out of the jar or squeeze bottle. The waitress also removed the unused sweetener from our table and returned it to the stash at the server's bar. To me that didn't seem right.
