They had a ton of vegan/vegetarian options like a Buddha bowl, vegan poke bowl, and some wraps. I got he vegan poke bowl which had marinated beets instead fish but there was lots of flavor from the kimchi and marinade. The vanilla...

matcha latte with soy milk was the perfect amount of sweetness too! They are able to add eggs or tofu to dishes for extra protein which was a nice option to have. We got our food to go which was very fresh and walked to the beach a few minutes away, leading to the perfect ambiance for a date or easy Sunday morning. We did come back for more a few days later for more but it was unfortunately closed for an extra day around the holiday which was a bummer. Nonetheless, would still recommend maybe after calling before.

Amazing, fresh, local, organic food! I am a vegetarian and gluten free, so as you can imagine, it's hard for me to find food on island, especially healthy food! We stumbled upon this place halfway through our trip and went every single day after that! Josh and Gina are the owners and are the main face of the cafe. They are so friendly, give great recommendations, take the time to get to know their customers, and prepare the food quickly. We absolutely love açaí bowls so we tried about 6 different places in Kihei/Wailea. This is the only one we continued coming back to. The GF blueberry granola on the bowls in homemade by Gina.

A hidden gem in Kihei That's a Wrap by Gina and Josh is my go-to spot on Maui for feel-good, flavorful bites and the kind of warm aloha that makes you feel like family. Every visit starts with my favorite trifecta: the homemade vegan chocolate donut (seriously--SO good, rich but not too sweet), the Yoshi breakfast wrap (egg, pesto , ham satisfying, and packed with flavor), and my must-have matcha latte with cinnamon (perfection in a cup). It's clear everything is made with love, and the vibe is always relaxed, friendly, and local.

Whether I'm popping in for a quick bite or soaking up the good energy, Also my friend had the avocado toast yum! A Kihei favorite that feeds both the body and soul.

Needed a cold beverage after sitting in the sun. Requested an iced chai tea w/coconut milk. They make their own coconut milk!! It was very delicious. They have many colorful and likely tasty lunch items using fresh ingredients. Just the drink today but I have had sandwiches here in past visits. Friendly people and both in and out seating.

Healthy eating in paradise. That's what they're all about in a nutshell...or should I say - in a wrap! My husband and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while, and now that we finally got the chance, we literally went back a couple of days later to try more items off their menu. As vegan/plant-based athletes and fitness professionals, we always seek out local, healthy food options whether we're at home or traveling. That's a Wrap checked off every box, from vegan and gluten-free options to fresh meals made with organic, fresh, tasty, and locally grown ingredients. The first wrap we tried was The Valerie which was simple, tasty and fresh. We loved that they serve it to you with paper, not plastic, and even a great reusable cotton mesh produce bag made by another local company (Wahi Maui). We've already used it again to buy veggies at the market. Such a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch! Another highlight was the Gurl in the Curl, their version of an Açaí bowl. Absolutely loaded with a variety of local fresh fruits on top and overall a solid Açaí base (not too watery or icy). It was the perfect snack to share after a hot day in the sun. We also shared their Matcha Latte with almond milk, which was nice and strong (like a real matcha should be). The cafe itself is bright and cozy, staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I loved the watermelon-infused water they had available for their customers too! Great breakfast/brunch/lunch/snack/coffee/tea spot for locals and visitors alike in Kihei!

SERVICE - located in a small strip mall near kameole park I beach - small parking lot in front usually has spots but can be busy during a lunch rush - quaint interior with cozy couches and tables good for seating groups of 1-4 people - friendly staff - restroom in strip mall requires key from staff - ambiance good for a casual breakfast or lunch MENU - bowls, smoothies, and wraps - vegan/vegetarian options available - average price ($13 per item) FOOD - gurl in the curl (7/10): açaí bowl with granola, fresh fruit, coconut, almond butter, and a drizzle of honey. If you want an açaí bowl with no frills, order this. It is exactly what I picture when I think açaí bowl. While it was good, there was nothing really setting it over the edge. The granola was bland and got soggy by the time we got halfway through the bowl. The almond butter was just a smidgen not a generous dollop. - mermaid bowl (6/10): papaya filled with a spirulina smoothie topped with fresh fruit on a granola bed. This was an innovative idea. However, it was difficult to eat. The papaya did not scoop out easily so we had to messily attempt to scoop off the smoothie then cut the papaya and then eat it all together again. - lotus bowl (5/10): tofu and veggies with a tahini sauce and rice. I was expecting this to be more of a stir fry but it looks like a curry. While I liked the variety of veggies, it severely lacked flavor. I had to boost it with a generous dollop of hot sauce. - the flo (5/10): pea protein, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house sauce in a wrap. This was one of two vegan wraps and the one that looked more substantial. I liked the idea of mimicking a burger but as a wrap. Similar to the lotus bowl the protein lacked flavor. Since it was crumbled it would have been nice if they marinated it or pan fried it before rolling it into the wrap. WOULD I GO BACK? Likely not. The dishes lacked flavor and nothing really stood out.

The inside boasts pretty decor with a community style table and few small tables. There's a water station, large menu, and small fridge for grab and go options. Daily specials are on the right side of the menu.

This place is the BEST place for fresh food, made with love and care....and most importantly, it's delicious!! Gina, Josh, Michelle and Christina create such a welcoming atmosphere, which translates to the food. My favorite is the Power Boat, however I also love checking the daily specials too, to switch things up. The food is all made fresh to order too. I'm confident whatever you choose, your taste buds will thank you. They also play great tunes

We loved That's a Wrap so much that we returned multiple times during the trip! During our first visit, I wanted the Nalu, but I asked if I could omit some items due to food sensitivities and preferences. Not only did they make everything perfectly to order, but they also noted that I could sub in the fresh mozzarella for cream cheese. The suggestion of a little "everything bagel" seasoning rounded the wrap up perfectly. The ingredients were so fresh and tasty. I also got the hibiscus tea. Although I didn't want mine sweetened, they offer multiple types of sweeteners. (My mom loved hers with honey.) They provide complimentary tea refills, so that was perfect to finish the second half of my wrap. I felt so satiated without being overly full. Gina and Josh were so nice and welcoming. Gina even remembered the specifics of our favorites after the first visit! Everyone was very happy with their wraps and plate lunches. The menu has something for everyone. The shared parking lot can get really full, so be aware that you might need to wait if you aren't walking in. They do have several outdoor tables for the row of businesses. If it's not rainy, it's a perfect place to enjoy your meal.

The freshest food around. Gina makes incredibly inspired meals and tasty wraps. On this day I tried an açaí bowl, the Girl in the Curl with: Local Acai, Granola, Fresh Fruit, Chia Seeds, Almond Butter, Toasted Coconut, Local Honey. it was deeelish! Staff are always lovely and welcoming.

The ultimate beach lunch. It was so nice having a healthy lunch option so close to the beach. We got the Yoshi, Maria, and Jojo. The Maria comes with a tangy mustard that brings the whole wrap together. While the Jojo cleverly incorporates roast beef without it being right in your face. Portions were also decently sized. So yummy plus quick and easy for a delicious lunch.

We were in the mood for sammiches and wraps after going out and I found this place off Yelp with the myriad of good reviews. The place is cute, parking is easy and service is decent. I wasn't quite a fan after ordering a wrap with tuna (the charlie) but that was my bad because I thought in my head tuna was going to be like sashimi tuna, but it was just like canned albacore tuna. I had asked the server her suggestion what is good but she said everything is so different blah blah. Bf ordered the Reuben because I said I was on the fence with getting mine and that. I tried his and the Turkey was on the dry side. The beets saved the wrap. On the plus side, another person in our group didn't like her sandwich and they basically redid the other half of her sandwich at no cost. They also have a fruit infused water station. It's filling and healthy no doubt, but failed on the taste spectrum for me. I also like their sign that says there's no wifi and talk to each other, "let's pretend it's 1995." read more

A very cute community café. Perfect spot for a pick-me-up in the form of hydration, caffeine, nutrition, and/or conversation from the friendly staff! Whenever I come to That's a Wrap it genuinely sets a positive tone for the rest of my day. You can tell that the owners and staff really care about what goes into the food. My favorite thing about going here is I always feel light and nourished after enjoying my meal, never heavy or sluggish. They use quality ingredients and have unique menu items. My favorite place to eat on Maui. The menu is filled with healthy delicious food for everyone. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. The drinks, wraps and salads are all incredible, which makes it tough to decide what to eat. Have tried just about everything & haven't had a bad meal. Gina's specials rock as do the baked goods. It's so awesome to know I can have a gluten free sweet treat with my wrap. Josh whips up incredible drinks and smoothies, too. My favorite wrap is the Gigi. Turkey, Swiss, house-made beet slaw & reuben sauce rolled into a GF (optional) wrap. Yum! Can't get enough of this place! read more

A cute spot serving up an abundance of healthy eats, dine in or take out! If you are gluten free this local cafe will not disappoint. Gluten free wraps with a choice of delicious fillings to GF baked treats and acai bowls with gluten free granola. Vegan Friendly spot too! I had a hankering for a sandwich which other gluten free peeps can appreciate is no easy feat to find on vacation. I went for the 'honey girl' wrap and could not resist trying the 'girl in the curl' acai bowl which was not only absolutely delicious, it was so pretty too! Grabbed a few GF ube donuts and blueberry cake to go too and a dirty chai. Everything I ordered hit the spot! Super friendly, accommodating and happy to be alive staff too! My only regret was not visiting this awesome lunch spot sooner during our stay in Maui! We definitely would have visited multiple times had we known sooner how good, vegan, and GF friendly That's A Wrap is! Came in for a late breakfast - we got the black bean wrap and the tofu scramble bowl. Took two GF, vegan donuts with us to go. The wrap was flavorful and fresh. They also offer GF wraps which is such a plus! The tofu bowl was not what I expected at all - the tofu was not scrambled, and it was more of a curry/stew. I loved it so much and would have definitely ordered it again and again. Donuts were also excellent! Staff was very friendly and all COVID precautions were taken. The indoor seating is small, but they also offered outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and visit for lunch. The price to portion ratio was very reasonable...but mainly, the food is sooooo good! This is one of the prettiest places we've been to eat on Maui, bright and airy and feeling of space everywhere. It's a small location but they've done a lot with it. Definitely love the vibe. We ordered a lotus bowl, avocado toast and a smoothie. The lotus bowl was mild in flavor, personally would have liked for there to be a little more kick to it. The avocado toast was pretty good as well, not a huge fan of balsamic so I'm on the fence about how I felt about it. The wife was a huge fan of both so just my palate. I would come back and try more of their food though but they closed down as the weekend was upon us and we had to head back to reality :( read more

came here for the acai bowls, left wanting the sweet potato thing as well A little expensive for my taste in the area, but for Kihei, the acai bowls offered here are pretty tasty and the base is good for the value! The grains are my favorite thing about the bowl. We ate here several times while on vacation earlier this month. Very fresh and healthy meals with many GF and vegan options. Delicious flavors of lemonade, yummy golden milk and unique matcha (they offer green, blue and/or pink). Their homemade baked goods are amazing: we tried lilikoi & banana mini donuts and chocolate oatmeal cookies. This is their Power Boat. Update from March 2022. This is my FAVORITE casual lunch spot in Kihei. The owners and staff are awesome -- so welcoming and full of aloha spirit. The specials board is so creative. Everything I've tried here has been delicious, fresh, and healthy. There is something here for everyone: omnivores, vegetarians, vegans. Hot tip #1: there are daily specials that aren't on their website. Check their Insta feed or just go in and prepare to be delighted. Hot tip #2: get the vegan donuts. Trust me. You're welcome ;) Hot tip #3: check out the fridge to the left of the counter for small containers of homemade pickled veggies, kimchi, dessert, and other gems. Worth the hype for healthy options! Been watching my diet more and was able to get things here that wouldn't make my blood sugar go too crazy. Both wraps we got were tasty and they also had some nice looking vegetarian options. I got the "Reuben" one...such interesting options here! Good size too. We took them across the street and ate by the beach, which was pretty rad too! You can also get drinks with stevia sweetener and alternative milks...and I didn't feel weird for asking! Staff were super nice! A pleasant addition to our Maui visit. Sometimes having to maintain a certain diet can be a drag when on vacation...but not here. Kind staff and great, creative options. Oh my gosh what a GEM I found!! I'm a flight attendant and was here on a layover, so I took a nap after my flight in and woke up wanting something refreshing and yummy. Very welcoming environment and friendly staff. Menu has a personal touch to it and can tell they are proud of what they do. I had the JoJo wrap and was pleasantly surprised with the freshness of everything within. The menu describes it as, "The Jojo Roast Beef, Cheddar, Red Onion, Tomatoes, Greens, Horseradish Sauce". This was a great find 10-15 minutes from our hotel and right across from the beach. We picked this place for vegetarian preferences and were not disappointed. They had a ton of vegan/vegetarian options like a Buddha bowl, vegan poke bowl, and some wraps. I got he vegan poke bowl which had marinated beets instead fish but there was lots of flavor from the kimchi and marinade. The vanilla matcha latte with soy milk was the perfect amount of sweetness too! They are able to add eggs or tofu to dishes for extra protein which was a nice option to have. We got our food to go which was very fresh and walked to the beach a few minutes away, leading to the perfect ambiance for a date or easy Sunday morning. We did come back for more a few days later for more but it was unfortunately closed for an extra day around the holiday which was a bummer. I've heard great things about That's a Wrap Cafe, so I stopped in today to try the Gurl in a Curl bowl. It was amazing! All vegan, fresh, and locally sourced items. I'm vegan and gluten free, so I was so happy to see all the delicious options that I could eat. The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions. If you live locally or just passing through, this should definitely be on your list of places to stop in Maui. I can't wait to go back! read more

We visited Maui and ate at this little shop before I knew Gina personally. It is one of the places my husband and I talk about a lot when reminiscing about visiting the island. I can tell you, from the first moment I walked in I felt like I was enveloped in a big hug. The café is warm, welcoming, and charming. The menu was so exciting to me that my husband told me to order two dishes I wanted to try and we split them. We ordered desserts to go, and in the evening we ate them on our balcony watching sea turtles. We love this place and have to stop on every trip to Maui. It's great to eat there and hangout, or take a wrap to go for the beach. Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian options galore! Love the coffee and the gal who made it for me... EXCEPT for the lady who rang me at the register. Asked if they had any sugar free syrups to go with my coffee, she replied that they didn't have any. I replied " that sucks!" and from then on I had the stare of the devil, looked me up and down and just was very indifferent ( to say it very mildly) . The gal who made my coffee offered Truvia, which to my delight was quite happy about. Very cordial and helpful. I appreciate the effort extended to me. But I believe I didn't deserve the rude behavior of the gal who checked me out of the register. I did not say SHE SUCKED.. I said.. I really enjoyed this place! They have healthy fare, which I found scarce on the island. They have bowls, smoothies, sandwich wraps, and a selection of coffees. When you want to finish a meal feeling energized, nourished and revitalized, come here. I had a lavender honey iced coffee that was great, not too heavy on the herbal lavender flavor. I also had the Breakie Plate special, which was avocado toast on an interesting pita bread, topped with a slab of pork belly and an egg, served with fresh fruit and red potatoes. I got the bread with macadamia nuts because i love nuts and they drive me nuts - nuts were fresh enough, which added the crunchy texture to my soft moist bread - could be more moist but it was already satisfactory - i like how they sell smaller pieces rather than a whole loaf but also it was more pricey - not as fresh and as good as aunty sandy's but decent! rating: 3/5 - since this place focuses on cinnamon roll, the rating is heavily weighted towards the cinnamon, which did not meet the minimum expectations of what a basic cinnamon roll should be - if this place was called the banana bread place, id give it a 4/5 - quick service nothing much to note - very small store; grab and go vibes with some seats outside IG: @nom.noms.only

It tastes exactly what it sounds like. They used to give the mustard spread, but now they charge for it. Either way, we are still coming back because of how fluffy and flakey the croissant is. Basically they cut the croissant in half, filled in the cream and put the top back. Odd. Better between the two. Might be too sweet for some. Prices are higher than other places. I don't think you'll find anything subpar. Seems like good offerings.

I don't know what I'll do if I lose Nick's Maui. But I dither, Nick's Fishmarket Maui is in an incredible location inside the Fairmont Kea Lani and it's setting alone would be enough to pull me back even if the food was just okay. Thankfully the food is MUCH better than "just okay", it is generally outstanding. I rotate starters and salads because there are so many great choices. The Caesar Salad is about as good as they get, but I really, really like the Maui Greek Salad. With at least four people we start with the Seafood Tower, but find it just too big for two of us. Other than that the Kalua Pig Pot Stickers, Charred Octopus, Crab Cakes and Blackened Ahi are the starters I rotate through. For my Main, I am less eclectic. I have a hard time getting away from the Diver Scallops and Scampi. I have tried other dishes, the Abalone, Kona Lobster and Ribeye (I know, I know, who orders steak in a seafood restaurant), but I keep coming back to. For Dessert, I am also in a rut, but I love desserts they set on fire and in this case it is Bananas Foster. I do sneak bites off my DW's Creme Brulee, as does off my BF. The service is terrific, attentive without being intrusive. I used to joke about the Chicago store that if you knocked a spoon off the table someone would catch it before it hit the floor. The Maui service isn't quite that attentive and I am not sure I would want it to be.

I came here with my husband and overheard the owner of the resturant arguing with a customer about if honey is vegan or not. Honey is made by bees, for bees, not humans. Either way, yelling at a customer for asking for what she ordered (a vegan bowl WITHOUT HONEY, and she was very polite about it) is truly horrible customer service. As someone who worked in food service i learned the customer is always right. The woman who runs this place is extremely entitled and hostile. Not a pleasent atmosphere at all and the food is aggresivley mediocre. It is also very bland. I did also hear the owner say she is vegan, i would love to know what kind of vegan runs a flesh, breastmilk, and ovary (egg) selling resturant. Just curious. Anyway, the woman who runs this place should keep her oubursts private and not direct them at paying customers. What goes around comes around..‍ read more

We found this amazing little cafe after we moved from Honokowai to Kihei I still remember the first time I walked into That's A Wrap and was met by Gina, one of the most kind and generous people I have ever known. Some people have strong mana in a positive way. We all know those people who light up the room when they walk in. People are naturally attracted to them because of the light in their eyes, the purity in their countenance, and the aloha we feel from their hearts connecting with our own. That is positive mana. That is Gina. We have enjoyed many meals together and it quickly became a go-to spot for my keiki after school. Gina and Josh have become family to us - a part of our 'Ohana. If you are looking for some 'Ono grinds (delicious food) on Maui, mixed with the true spirt of aloha, stop in and stay awhile. You'll be glad you did! read more

If I could give this place twenty stars I would. The Owners Josh and Gina are Rad!! Whatever you on order off the menu, you cannot go wrong. They are so super accommodating with their menu as well, that is why if you are vegan to Keto to anything in between, they have you covered. The Local Honey is to die for!!!! I get the powerboat that has almond butter and honey, and it is the bomb . I have Vegan Friends who eat the honey and it is just delicious. When in Kihei, near Dolphin Plaza, you need to stop in for a visit and some delicious food. Everything about this place is great, the owners are so gracious and kind, you get a huge hello and smile when you first walk in, that sets the pace for your entire visit. Cannot say enough great things about That's a Wrap at the Dolphin Plaza in Kihei! First off, the owners are absolutely AMAZING--some of the kindest, coolest people you'll ever meet. Their vibe is so welcoming, laid-back, and genuine. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, let's talk about the food... I ordered the vegan Gurl in the Curl bowl this morning and it came out smothered in honey. Nowhere on the menu did it mention there was honey in it. When I brought it to their attention the owner proceeded to argue with me about how all the vegans she knows eats honey and how the honey she gets is "ethical". She also proceeded to call me "self righteous and entitled" for simply not wanting honey in my bowl. Truth is, vegans don't eat honey or exploit animals to as far is possible and my choice to not eat it, shouldn't have to be explained. While they did end up fixing the label on the menu board after our conversation, it was a super absurd experience and I certainly wouldn't trust whatever else is in the food labeled "vegan". read more

That's a wrap is my go to place. I can't recommend it enough! I have so many favorites its hard to say just one. So here it goes.... the coconut bowl always fresh and best tropical fruit available. They use all sorts of yummy unique fruit! The Buddha bowl is a vegetarian daily special that is incredible! I'm not vegetarian but often order because the flavor is just amazing! They make an incredible unsweetened Chai latte! Best I have ever had. Doesn't need the sweet and I am a sugar junky! I LOVE the fact they use what is in season and shop for local products. By far my favorite Mom & Pop stop on the island. My diet is so restrictive (somewhere between AIP and Paleo), making it pretty hard to eat out. Gina and her staff have never made me feel like I was a bother for having to modify my order. In fact Gina remembers all my restrictions even when I forget to mention it, and I have a lot. The lunch specials are the bomb!! Oh and Gina bakes all kine gluten free goodies if you're lucky enough to get there before they sell out. Gina also fights endlessly to speak up for those who don't have a voice, feeds our community when times are hard, and is a fierce advocate for animals. I'm a fan for sure!! read more

That's a Wrap is one of my favorites. The owners and staff are wonderful. They always have a smile and will make any changes that you request. Everything is made fresh and their daily breakfast and lunch specials are awesome. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting where you can enjoy your meals or take them to go. That's a Wrap also helps to support local organizations and artists. They fed many families that were displaced by the fire and even hosted a private Christmas dinner for them. TERRIFIC! We had "The Valerie" (a beet hummus wrap) and the avocado toast with balsamic glaze and strawberries. Both delicious, as is the kombucha, the wonderful teas, and the strong coffee. Dolphin Plaza is a little unassuming; from the street (South Kihei Road) all you really see is the Pizza Hut. We ordered the Honey Girl wrap & Girl in the Curl Açaí bowl.Both were super tasty and very fresh. Service was very friendly and nice.
