I've been waiting very (im)patiently for this location to open. I've a four minute walk from work. I can see myself going here a lot. I work early morning (7 AM) and their even earlier morning hours (6 am) would let me get a breakfast sandwich before work. This review was is based on their lunch rush though. We walked in at noon and I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a long time. I was quickly helped. All three registers were being worked and the line was moving fast. I noticed there were a few self checkout registers that no one seemed brave enough to check out. There was about a ten minute wait for my food. Which isn't too bad since it was a bit busier than their other locations. You want the food hot, of course. I got the skinny ham on a poppy bagel. The egg whites were fluffy and delicious. The price ($6.50), I thought, was good. However, this is where the star comes off, the side you get is over priced, IMO. It's $2.50 for a drink and I opted for the macaroni salad. I got like three tablespoons of salad. I won't get the combo option again. The atmosphere was nice. I loved the décor, it was very modern. The service was very pleasant. Everything was going. Pros: -Cheap -Unlimited iced coffee -Decent menu of breakfast food -WiFi and charging ports Cons: -Chewy and bland bagels -Nothing food-wise particularly tasty, everything is just really average. Which is fine for some. -Tables and floor are ALWAYS dirty -Employees insist on yelling your order number out like you are their children instead of using the microphone.. insanely irritating. Pretty pricey for a bagel but that seems to be the norm these days. Free refills on fountain drinks, coffee and tea ( the basic stuff of course) so there's that if that's your thing. They have kiosks, offer online ordering and the line moves pretty fast even with the weekend crowd. I think the accept whatever meal bucks Hopkins has so even better for the college students. My only gripe is they close early around 3 or 5 I think. I get it but they could make a killing if they were open later. Wait time for food prep is fairly quick. I do like this location better than canton and Towson, no particular reason just feels different and you have to pay for parking, at times it can be scarce definitely a go to place for a good breakfast sandwich read more

Stopped by this morning to buy bagels. It was early and it was empty. I walk to the counter and was screamed at by someone on the upper level that they weren't open. The doors were unlocked which implies open to me ? Either way it is better to just say something than scream at the top of your lungs. read more

THB has my favorite bagels and my favorite breakfast. Thank goodness that they opened this location near my home, so I could stop trekking all the way to Canton or Towson when I needed my favorite hangover cure. The bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel is what dreams are made of. The deli sandwiches are also delicious, but a bit pricey. The Charles Village location is modern and sleek, it's been very clean every time I've visited and the staff is great. I cannot say enough good things about THB. read more

Food is okay, nothing special. Prices are okay for the food quality and quantity. I'm giving this one star because I don't think a single person who works here could spell the word "service." They put me on hold and to see how long it would take I just had it keep going, I ended up being on hold for over 7 minutes and when they finally picked it up, they hung up literally after 3 seconds, before I could say anything. If you're going to pick the market of selling fast, quality breakfast food then I would probably suggest speed and convenience is important to customers. I stumbled across THB on a Saturday morning and boy was I pleased with my experience. Though a bit like a fast food restaurant, that is you place your order and they prepare your food quickly, the bagel sandwiches are absolutely amazing. The food appears to be cooked to order but I imagine some prep occurs ahead of time to crank out the food so quickly. read more

This is my go-to on Sundays!! The chicken salad is the best! My husband and I go there once a month and buy a dozen bagels to make them at home. During the summers it's a lot easier to find a place table-- Towson and Goucher college students frequent this place on the weekends. The bagels here are perfectly decent - but they *require* toasting; only the highest specimen of bagel is delicious without toasting. That said, every single time i come here they fail to toast my bagel! Even when i ask twice? Yes, even then! At this point it's become a farce. it's as if they more i ask, the more certain i can be that i'll be having a cold bagel. What do i need to do or say to get thb to toast my bagel!? please, i'm begging you! the issue could also be that they speed their bagels through the toaster so quickly that you have 20 seconds to eat it before it's cold. please please please consider taking the time to actually toast the bagels to full effect! read more

This is a good spot to go in the neighborhood, though presentation and attention to detail is a problem. I just got home with my breakfast bagel only to discover it was just thrown in the bag without much care. Some of the bagel was even outside the aluminum wrapping, as if they had taken time to actually leave part of the bagel on the outside. This is my new favorite breakfast spot between boot camp class and swimming lessons. I enjoy the omelette platters, that are served with potatoes & a choice of a bagel with butter. The service is friendly and my food always arrives hot and tasty. The $1.50 up-charge for plain cream cheese to go along with the bagel is a bit pricey, but what can you do?! My office made a huge order at THB last week because we work for a non-profit (hopkins) our order should have been tax -exempt. When my colleague showed up to pay the cashier yelled at her that "he wasnt trained in tax-exempt and could not do it." The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude even given that we had a huge order and we preordered it via their website. The website also isn't useful and grubhub seems to have a better ordering process than their own. We will not be ordering from here further. You've just lost some Hopkins business. read more

I found pieces of egg shells in my egg and cheese which was pretty gross. I also asked the worker at the register what the difference between their two everything bagel varieties was and he told me they were exactly the same thing, despite the fact they had two different names. First, when the order was completed, the manager looked at the order, ignored the fact that the food was ready to be served, and continued to talk to someone else. Second, the sandwich had very little amount of meat and the cheese was not melted at all. Not the best sandwich money can buy. Lastly, when I went to throw out the garbage, I was swarmed by fruit flies that gathered around the garbage can by the door. Not the best service, not very good food, and not very clean place. I have eaten at a few of the different THB stores around Baltimore. I have eaten here previously and had mediocre service (probably 3 stars). The other day I ordered online for a meeting I was heading to. There was an issue with the order showing up on the program at the store. They didn't call me and claimed my number didn't show up. I then gave them my phone with the order. I went and sat down waiting for my order. 15-20 minutes later the person comes to me and asks when I need the order. Come to find out from asking they hadn't starting work on the order. I asked why and the employee went on to tell me that they were starting to get busy so he had to make the orders of the people coming in because they came in first. Makes no sense because I had my order in since 6:40 am and it was now 7:20 am. I asked for the manager to call, which 1 week later I hadn't heard anything.
