New breakfast spot! We were sat right away. It it much bigger inside than I realized! Cute place. Food was good not over seasoned.

A new place we tried in Buford and food is good, service is great and ambience is clean. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. It's a breakfast cum brunch place and the sandwiches also looked great as it was being served on the table next to ours. Will have to come back again to try that!!

I can't say enough nice things about my experience @ 5 Spot Cafe this past Monday evening. We had a delicious meal, even ordered extra so we would know for future visits what to recommend. We even had a drink at the bar after our meal, highly recommend this Spot! We will continue to ride our golf cart to this location, such a blessing to have good food and drinks so close by! Wanda, thank you for letting us know about this place!

lThe food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! I almost hesitate to share just how good everything is because I fear that one day, it might not be the same incredible intimate experience I've come to love with no crowd at the door! . The fast, friendly service makes you want to tip generously, and today we were spoiled by Jen, our wonderful hostess. She clearly understood my request for fresh, buttery, melting pancakes, which were served steaming hot. For my meal, I chose the croissant sandwich, while my husband enjoyed an omelette. We've also had dinner here, where the meatloaf and veggies were delightful. The prices are great, providing excellent value for the quality of food and service. Being able to get in and out without a wait is definitely worth an extra tip for the servers. Everyone, including the owner, makes it a point to ensure you are well taken care of. This place deserves five stars for its fantastic food and excellent service!!!

We loved that we had no wait and the menu had lots of options. But... food came out cold and the service wasn't the best.

The second time I came back we were greeted with a 30-min wait, which was expected due to the weekend and peak hour. But to our surprise we were actually seated within 15-minutes. While we waited, I used the restroom for the first time and it was clean and smelled fresh with cute decor. We were served with drinks right away and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We looked at the menu beforehand, but last minute my husband and I decided to try recommended dishes. Here's our spread: Strawberry Short stack - 5/5 Sausage and egg biscuit with - 4/5 Cowboy omelette - 5/5 Chicken & Waffles - 5/5 Philly Fries Meal - 5/5 Bottomless Sweet Tea - 5/5 The pancakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. My daughter swore she'd eat the entire stack, but of course we knew otherwise. My mother in law enjoyed the sausage and egg biscuit, the sausage was a little more well done than she'd like but everything was seasoned well. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. Also we were very happy to see the Christmas decor. It really felt like a hometown feel and we enjoyed every minute. Definitely have Oy! on your list for brunch with the family! I'd visit once a week if I could.

We ordered a few different dishes including steak and eggs, French toast, pancakes with bacon, and a burger with fries. The steak was cooked nicely, but it was a little tough. The French toast was thick and tasty, but it tasted more like bread pudding to me--it wasn't as light and fluffy as traditional French toast. The pancakes were simple but good. Portions were generous and definitely filling. Overall, the food was good, but not quite as impressive as I had expected. I also wish their juice was fresh squeezed. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot, but with a few small improvements it could be even better.

Lumberjack Special: That board comes out looking like it's ready to feed a small village. Not a complaint uttered. This is a very cool spot with creative, upscale flavors and excellent presentation. We ordered the bacon biscuit with grits and the avocado toast, and everything was absolutely delicious. The grits were the standout item for me. We learned they are made with locally sourced grits from a North Georgia mill, and the cheese combination created an incredibly creamy texture and rich flavor. The coffee was excellent as well and was served in a large mug that we really appreciated. We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. Great food, excellent coffee, and a strong commitment to local sourcing make this a place worth visiting. We'll be back! BAM!

Despite our unexpectedly late start to the day, there was a steady flow of customers the entire time we ate breakfast. Customers ranged from young families, single guest and friends gathering in small groups, everyone we saw ordered a variety of breakfasts. There are options for all types of morning eaters. Small portions to big meals. You are bound to find something to fit your mood. While the options are typical choices you find in many breakfast diner type businesses, the quality of the food and the freshness was evident. Nothing was "greasy" or flavorless nor was anything "slammed " together to get diners in and out quickly. Care was taken to provide a good breakfast with warm southern hospitality. I ordered the short stack (2) of the blueberry crunchcakes. They were two large blueberry pancakes topped with granola. They were not overly sweet nor did the granola conflict with the pancake experience. It was actually my second favorite pancake I've ever had. They were large enough I only ate half the order. I requested a side of bacon and it came with three strips, cooked nicely. Not too crispy and not too floppy. My husband ordered the Western Omelette which had ham, peppers, onions and cheese. He also chose the oven roasted potatoes and the English muffin. He was pleased to see there was not a ton of cheese inside as he has experienced elsewhere, so you could easily taste the various flavors of each ingredient. The portion was hearty so he too only ate half. The potatoes were perfectly golden and tasted like potatoes. Nothing was greasy nor overly salted so it felt like a hearty breakfast. If you are in town and want a yummy breakfast of some classic breakfast favorites, make it a point to eat at J. Christopher's. You will taste fresh ingredients, get good portions and won't break the bank. I wasn't a fan of the hot or iced coffee though, which always completes my morning. If you are in the mood for more than a pastry at breakfast, this place is one to try.

The coffee was fantastic! The vibe was calm and welcoming and there were so many delicious and creative options we ran out of traveling days to even make a dent in their menu! I can't wait to come back and visit. If you want excellent coffee and are looking for unique flavors you gotta try this place. Even just black coffee is so smooth and not bitter. My sample was nice and hot too. The quality of coffee here is definitely top notch and one not to miss if you love coffee like I do! The first visit, on a crisp 33 degree morning, I ordered a large Goat Bomb cold brew and a large Lucky Bomb cold brew. The Goat Bomb is cold brew with espresso. The Lucky Bomb is their exclusive vanilla powder with cream and espresso. In both cups you tasted delicious coffee flavor that wasn't watery or burnt tasting. It was smooth and aromatic. The coffee flavor came through the creamer easily so you still knew you were drinking coffee and not just milk with a hint of coffee. It was hard to pace myself and make it last the morning. While I was waiting for my order, I started chatting with Melissa, who was creating my coffee drinks. She recommended that on my next visit I had to ask for the cold brew blend that they specially make for the holidays called "Snowflake Crunch". I was so intrigued that she even provided me with a small sample. It was fantastic. I had actually wished my current order she was making included that option of cold brew, but in the end it meant I was determined to return the next day to try it. Snowflake Crunch is a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon flavors. But it isn't candy sweet like you'd think, it is a balanced mix of holiday spirit in your mouth. I was so grateful I made time to met Melissa. Her recommendation made my experience in the coffeehouse so much more than a cup of coffee. I felt "lucky" to find Lucky Goat Coffee and I know you will too!
