Their strawberry cake is outstanding. One of my favorite desserts anywhere! I get it whenever I can.

Service is ALWAYS top notch and fast and I have never had a bad meal here. Prices are really pretty good for the quality of food that they serve and they are very helpful discussing their menu related to allergies. They do their best to make/find something for everybody. And the pastries are fabulous!! I love the eggplant stacks and my friend loves the lamb lollipops. We eat here at least 1-3x a month. Ambience is nice and really is more like a more expensive place. I've eaten there twice on business and have enjoyed dinner both times. Lovely and attentive staff, very good food and reasonable prices for what you get. When I heard vegan menu, I was hooked. When I got there and the vegan menu was just salads and 2 pastas that you have to ask for no cheese on, I was disappointed. Didn't help that one of the waitresses was giving us dirty looks apparently. The only thing that redeemed this visit was the vegan baklava . read more

I visited the Acropolis Grill with a party of 15 for my graduation dinner with my family and friends. The Acropolis Grill did a wonderful job catering to our needs. My graduation ended an hour earlier than expected and the restaurant was able and willing to accommodate our last second changes. Our waitress was very polite and easy to get along with and the bar offered a wide variety of drinks - from hard Liquors to wines to mixed drinks to beer... they had it all and more. I started my lunch order off with an appetizer of saganaki - also known as The Flaming cheese dish. It is absolutely delicious... one of my childhood favorites. It is a big hunk of cheese that they light on fire and squeeze lemon juice over, giving it a unique yet wonderful taste. I also got the opportunity to sample the lemon Greek soup which was creamy and delicious, and is vegetarian for those who don't like meat. And of course, I tried the Greek salad which was good. I ordered the cheese ravioli dish for my main meal. By the time I received the dish I was so full from the appetizers and the side soup and salad and the bread that they brought to our table... I had taken 2 bites of my ravioli and I couldn't possibly eat any more. This is definitely not a complaint considering I got to take it home and enjoy the Acropolis Grill for dinner that night and lunch the next day. :P My grandpa is from Greece and even he said the place was good. The Acropolis Grill was more extravagant than I expected, and definitely did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it here and plan on coming back. read more

It is in Hamilton Place Mall area and has it's own parking lot. Was there with my family members and the hostess was very nice and got us a table outside (Sunday night). When it took a long time for someone to acknowledge we were there when a waiter even walked by a couple of times and I finally interrupted him and they got us a waiter. The service was so bad that it took almost an hour to get our food and I kept having to grab the other waiter to get bread, drinks and even refills. I did not mine staying there and enjoying the atmosphere if we only could get refills. By the time we got the go boxes for our left overs I was ready to GO!!! When we got our food it was really good. I had a Gyro and my granddaughter of 3.5 had a kids pizza (only had cheese but it was big). They had a full bar and draft beer (+1). Inside they have booths, tables and a small but quaint bar. OK in all fairness I have been here in the past but mostly a long time ago and I should have said something to the manager. When we were leaving the manager/hostess asked if everything was OK. I could not resist. Told her actually no, the food was good but the service sucked. In fact it was so bad I have some of my tip to the other waiter that I kept having to ask for help. She apologized and said I could have a free dessert to go. It was temping because when you walk in they have glass display case with some of the best desserts ever!!!. But I was so frustrated I just wanted out!. She gave me her name and said I could have a free dessert next time. I already forgot her name because I can't remember much of anything and quite honestly, it should have been a free meal. BUT that said, I was pleased she tried to make up for it. My husband and I went to Acropolis Grill on a Friday night. We had reservations for 6:30 and still waited 20 minutes. I felt like reservations were not required because walk-ins were being seated so did not feel like an advantage. The food was amazing! The service was awesome as soon as we were seated. We stumbled upon the acropolis grill while in Chattanooga on vacation. I was with a friend who had studied abroad in Greece. From start to finish, this meal was amazing! The food quality was amazing, and the prices were also outstanding. The atmosphere is beautiful. There are white table cloths, nice dishes and a quiet but large dining area. People were dressed informally all the way to formally. Your meal comes with homemade bread with cinnamon butter! We ordered a delicious appetizer, soup came with my meal, I ate the Greek chicken and took chocolate baklava Home for dessert. All that for only $22 plus tip! The waitress was very efficient. The food came out very quickly. The booth we sat in was not comfortable. The seat sunk in very badly. We had the lamb meatballs, lamb slices and potatoes, and a couple of gyros. The gyros had no complaints. In fact, my son who doesn't care for cucumbers, said, he didn't need to remove them as they made sense in the gyro. The toasted bread that came with the lamb meatballs was absolutely delicious. The meatballs didn't taste like game meet. The lamb slices with the potatoes had more of a game meat taste. Loved the potatoes. Didn't care much for the slices of lamb. Fantastic food. Every dish I've tried I've loved. It makes it hard to decide what to eat when I visit.

This was the perfect place for a Valentine's lunch! The service was great, food was fresh and everything was delicious beyond expectations. The owner seems to really care that each patron is happy. She visited all of the tables and we also saw her making sure things were going smoothly at the bar, coffee bar and kitchen. The only thing which could have been improved was the music. It was a channel with recent pop hits and many of the songs featured an unpleasant timbre voice, singing repetitive phrases or loud "out of place" lyrics. Some type of light instrumental music would really match the mood and enhance the ambiance (and ability to hear each other in conversation) better than what was playing. It was not at all suitable for all of those trying to celebrate Valentine's Day. The important things such as food, service, hospitality and price were great. read more

After some "ho hum" experiences many years ago, I've previously avoided The Acropolis Grill. I only went with friends whose debate skills were a notch or two above mine. Well, friends those days are gone--long GONE. After attending a party there recently I've changed my mind. This place has been remodeled, the service improved and the food tastes great. The patio is equipped with fans, surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flowers. Now I apply my ample debate skills on the subject of where to eat in favor of AG. Good food and service. There is a patio that looked nice to sit back and sip on wine and linger over food when on a date night.
