We found a new place thats definitely a repeater - the Aussie Grind. Everything is so fresh - you taste it in every bite. The wait staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is easy and calming. It was truly a great first experience. I had the chicken and Brie with rosemary fries. Mmmmmm. Chicken was cooked perfectly, and the Brie with cranberry had a delightful taste combination. And fresh rosemary on my fries was a bonus.

First off, this is a place with a very small space. The whole establishment can't be more than thirty feet wide. The service team seems to be just that. In a more traditional setting, a single server would be taking care of you. At the AG, the whole team seems to be involved. It sort of works. Now to the food. The pancakes were stellar. With various fruits, vanilla ice cream, syrup and creme anglais it seems an odd combination but MAN it works! Completely delicious. As for the fish and chips, they were good but not spectacular. I was hoping for a more crispy batter, but this one kind of missed the mark. As for the rptartar sauce, it had a spicy note. Also not expected. All in all, it was good, and a great value.

Photogenic food and plating . So very Instaworthy. Quality and quantity was barely passable. Pricey for the food being served which had surprisingly medi touch , though being a Restaurant representing "Down under" fare. Service was ok

Solid place for breakfast / brunch food in Frisco! I visited The Aussie Grind with a few friends for brunch on a Sunday. Upon arriving at around 10am, we put our name down and had to wait maybe 20ish minutes outside before being seated (as a party of 4). Once we were seated, service was relatively fast despite how busy it was inside. I ordered the breakfast pizza which has bacon, fried eggs, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and BBQ sauce. This is basically a flatbread with a great mix of toppings for breakfast time, and I especially loved the sweetness that the BBQ sauce added to the dish! My fiance got the breaky gnocchi which has bacon and poached eggs and comes on top of a bed of spinach. While the texture of the gnocchi was nice, this dish was unfortunately way too oily towards the bottom of the plate plus it wasn't as flavorful as we would have liked.

I found this place in the nearby activity section on Yelp and we decided to check them out while we were in Frisco. The ambiance walking in was nice. They also had relaxing music playing and that sat very well with me since we had just come from a nearby festival that was really loud. It was the perfect atmosphere to decompress a little! Our server was great. Super friendly and helpful . He was also very efficient. I ordered the Fish and Chips for my main meal and a Vanilla Slice for dessert. The Fish & Chips were a perfect meal for a Friday during Lent. Perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. The Vanilla Slice was pretty good, but there are so many other sweets in this place I will try instead on future visits.

Bubble and Squeak, Iced Vanilla Coffee and the remnants of the banana walnut bread, that didn't make it to a to go box.

Our group had never been here before, but friends had, so we decided to try it. It was a hit. The food and drinks were delicious. We had Bubble and Squeak, an Eggs Benedict, Seafood Pasta and a Flatbread, as well as Banana and Walnut Bread. The portions were nicely sized and the plating was lovely. It was early enough to sit outside, and it was very pleasant. We had lemonade, a Brisbane, an Aussie Iced Vanilla coffee without the ice cream, and an unsweet tea. Everyone was very satisfied. Our server was Nick. He was fun and asked how we wanted our food prepared. For example, how I wanted my egg, and if we wanted to go refills on our drinks? We visited 8-2-26 at 11:00 am. I will definitely return.

We went early for breakfast, we each ordered Cappuccino /banana bread package , and an avocado mash to share, all are delicious, cappuccino was specially wonderful, love it! We shall return very soon!

The reviews don't lie. This place is worth the hype! We arrived around 9:30/10am on a Saturday and were seated immediately. My friend ordered the salmon bagel and loved it! My chai latte was easily one of the best 'restaurant' lattes I've ever ordered. My Big Breaky was hearty and delicious. I have to return and try the French toast with ice cream.

My previous review was a mistake (it was meant for another business) so I decided to make it right by coming here. I have also heard so much good things about this so I also decided to celebrate a friend's birthday. They don't take reservations so better get there early cause weekends are busy. I had the salmon and it was good but the sweet chilly glaze sauce didn't feel like it complement the salmon. Maybe it just wasn't my preference so I'll order something else next time. The side cabbage that came with it was also lackluster. My friend had a beef burger sub sweet potato fries which was good. She ordered a coffee and we shared an affogato which was really good. Really nice staff but I do feel the food was a little underwhelming. I'll probably come back here another time to give it another shot because I'm thinking it's just what I ordered. Thus, a conservative 3 stars for now

Opens earlier than most coffee in the area. Offering sweet and savory items. Very aesthetic for pics with great customer service. Nick was great to chat with. I'm a fan of shrimp pasta here, they make it al dente. Pastries are my go to with coffee when I'm on the go.

My go to breakfast stop! Never get tired of coming here for breakfast or lunch. Staff is super friendly and coffee is delicious! Gotta come try it!

Australia in Frisco! The Aussie Grind is my Tuesday brunch ritual -- cozy vibes, craft coffee, and delicious food. My go-to is the lavender oat milk latte, the omelette with blistered tomatoes, and anything with their jam or bagels. A true Frisco favorite for brunch lovers!

This was a fun find. Went for lunch with my friend. It was pretty packed but we were seated immediately in a 2 ppl table. The place is so cozy inside. I do want to go back and try other dishes. My salad was tasty and huge. I got it with the vinaigrette on the side and it was a good call. My friend had the penne pasta and she loved it. Their coffee is good too. And the service was excellent. Definitely going back to try more!

I immediately brought it to the staff's attention, and they took the bowl back and brought me a replacement. Unfortunately, I found another hair in the replacement bowl. Finding a hair once is bad enough, but finding another one after the food was replaced was extremely concerning and completely ruined my appetite. To make matters worse, my sister also found a hair in her food, which made us even more concerned about the restaurant's food preparation and cleanliness. Despite everything that happened, they still wanted to charge me for the toast that came with my meal. At that point, after finding hair in my food twice and having another food item found in my sister's meal, I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was more than just a minor mistake. Finding multiple foreign items in our food, even after bringing the first issue to their attention, is unacceptable especially for a 1 hour wait. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews their food-handling and sanitation practices. Based on this experience, I will not be returning.

It's a sports bar and restaurant, and the World Cup was going on so it was a bit loud, but it was ok (although the kid complained, but she is at the age that she complains a lot). There is a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The menu has variety with sandwiches, flatbreads, a long list of apps, and other bar type food. We started with the queso and chips, which we thought would come out first. The queso could use some kick as it was very mild. The chips were excellent: light, crispy, and not at all greasy. The wife had a buffalo chicken flatbread and really liked it, she at it all. I had a chicken Philly and really enjoyed it. The chicken was thinly sliced and very tender. There were lots of different peppers and melted queso, so it was a very tasty, gooey, messy sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were crispy and excellent, very addictive. Our server, Addy, was pleasant and efficient. Prices are reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the kitchen sent the "starter" (queso and chips) out at the same time as the entrees, so we were faced with the dilemma which food to let get cold. It should not be that way. My understanding of "starter" is that it comes out before the main courses. Anyway, that was the only blip. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and enjoyed our dinner.
