I've been here a few times, and the service, food, and overall experience have been consistently good. I'll continue to support 5th Street Patio Cafe.

Treated myself to a favorite spot for breakfast after having some fasting bloodwork. Why am I always so hungry in the morning when they tell me I can't eat? Anyways, this place never disappoints. Cute spot tucked away near downtown Frisco, and staff is always friendly. Blueberry pancakes (so fluffy) and crispy bacon for me! Only thing I don't care for are the fountain drinks - I'm a Diet Coke snob. Plenty of other drink options available.

Such a cute cafe on 5th street! This was recommend to me by the hotel staff during my visit to Dallas. The cafe is open seating and does not have a reservation system. When walking in, you'll order your food first, grab your drinks and the servers will being the good to your table. Our food didn't take long at all to arrive after ordering. The egg whites were lightly cooked when I asked for them to be fried well done. The chicken was overcooked but still edible. Pancakes and waffle was very good. My curse grits were ok, I would've preferred the cheese be melted and the grits to be cooked a little more, they were thick. Overall very cute cafe to visit for quick eating! I'll be back to try again when visiting Dallas.

Wonderful neighborhood counter order cafe! The restaurant at looks like it was a Victorian home converted to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious! I ordered the French Toast Platter: it came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 4 pieces of french toasts with fresh cut fruit Parking is right behind the building, and there's plenty of it!

French Toast platter. I got the banana fosters and an extra added. . Good stuff. It's worth the drive.

Nice, cozy place. The food is good. Customer service is good. The first time here didn't know you order and pay first. So be ready, you first trimmers. If I knew, I would have looked at the menu or Yelp pictures a bit long. Had people behind us in line, not a fan of wasting anyone's time. Good first visit. Plan to have many more. If you work from home you can bring your computer. We got here between 9am and 9:30am. No one rushing you out. Maybe you can get a little work done while having breakfast. This place is dog friendly. They have a patio for them. It was a bit cold, of course, during winter months but great during spring and summer months. Hope you enjoy

Cute restaurant, a home remade into a restaurant. It has been here forever, and can do with some repainting, redoing the floors just to bring back the beauty. It's a seat yourself, order at the counter restaurant. Food was ready quickly, and brought to the table. I ordered shrimp and grits, it was very oily but the taste was good. Garlic bread was awesome. It's been years since my first visit, if you want cute scenery and a good meal, check it out

I found this little spot while looking for good chilaquiles! And I found them! I loved the green salsa , very flavorful, also the portion was very generous, it comes with sour cream, cheese, avocado and I chose chicken to top it off (obviously eggs)!!! I would definitely come back to try something else next time!

Such a cute and fun spot in downtown frisco! This place is patio dog friendly! The food was great! They have breakfast and lunch items. The fish basket was very good, and so was the shrimp carbonara. Pay attention to their operation hours, they do close early in the day.

I arrived at the right time. There were many open spots in their small parking lot shared with several other businesses. When I entered, a customer had just finished ordering. I quickly browsed the menu on the wall and ordered the Captain Crunch French Toast. After grabbing the utensils and coffee, I decided to eat on the patio. The coffee was slightly bitter but still drinkable. After I saw the bottom of the cup did my order arrive. Because it was slightly pre-sweetened, I assumed no additional syrup came with it. Later, I noticed nearby tables pouring syrup from unmarked bottles. I did notice these unmarked bottles next to marked bottles of mustard and ketchup. I just did not know what was the brown goop inside them. As I said, the Captain Crunch French Toast was slightly pre-sweetened with syrup which prevented it from being too dry. The three slices of toast and the several pieces of blueberries and strawberries was enough to satisfy my hunger. I had some amusement picking up the individual pieces of cereal with my fork. Although I was eyeing the andouille sausage, any additional food would have been excessive. By the time I left, the restaurant was starting to get packed. All the patio tables were occupied; the lot was getting full; and the line to order had reached the door.

Fifth Street patio Café is a quaint place to eat in downtown Frisco. With hippie ambience and its wide variety on the menu, I definitely think this is a place to not miss. The prices are a little above the average. A BLT will cost you 9.99, but they do have daily specials and I have not come across one entrée that is bad. The breakfast is also really good. My favorite is the big taco salad and a cup of creamy jalapeño soup.

The line wraps around the building which looks promising however, they missed the mark on flavor. If you want pretty pictures and social media "likes" this is the place to go but if you want incredible tasting food i would suggest finding another place. We decided to come here on my birthday since I've been wanting to try it for over a year now but never wanted to deal with the long wait. After a 45 minute wait we finally got the text that our table was ready. We promptly made our way through the rest of people waiting and got inside for the host to tell us we were past our 5 minute window so our table was gone but they would go ahead and sit us somewhere else. I explained we were right outside and came in as soon as we got the notification and even shown them the time stamp on my message that was only 3 minutes ago. The 3 minutes was the time it took for us to fight through the crowd and actually get inside. Where they ended up seating us was incredibly cramped and the whole time we felt like we were completely in the way of the servers or had people walking by brushing against us or nearly knocking stuff off our table. I started with the seasonal tiramisu latte, it was beautifully presented but very awkward to drink with all the garnishes. Once i got to the actual drink it tasted like your standard pot coffee, not espresso, and the layering was terrible. The coffee at the bottom was still hot while the milk of top was cold. I tried mixing it up and all that did was melt the ice leaving me with a watered down bland tasting latte that was luke warm. Next, i got the birria burrito with rosemary potato's. Similarly when it came out it was beautifully plated. Upon tasting, it was the most bland and unseasoned burrito I've ever had. My wife got the lemon curd french toast, unfortunately it was not as picture perfect as there was a hair on the plate when it came out. She also mentioned that the french toast needed more flavor, only the top piece had any lemon on it leaving the remaining 2 slices completely bare and boring. Our server was incredibly nice and accommodating, when we got our check she asked if it was our first time, which it was, so she asked how we liked everything. I mentioned that it was alright but a bit under-seasoned to which she replied that they have received several complaints about under seasoning but that everyone has different taste and therefore they season everything lightly. Based on that, it seems like their chef has different taste than everyone else and that taste is bland. It's disappointing that they hit all the marks except the most important one, flavor. I think this place could be incredible if they would just added more salt to everything and season their food appropriately. I understand some people have different taste, but if your getting consistent feedback that the food is lacking flavor, maybe you should try and fix it. Pictures and decor will only get a restaurant by for so long before the trends move on.

The place is also toddler friendly with a great kids menu, as my 3 year old devoured his Mickey pancakes! With a 3 year old things tend to spill, and when the apple juice spilled, the staff immediately helped clean the miss and get him a new juice! The waitress also made sure my wife wife and parents coffee was always filled along with my diet cokes refills! You can tell that the staff really enjoy to work here! The food was delicious my family all ordered breakfast items, and devoured their food, they also are very flexible with any modifications, and had sourdough toast, which was delicious! The only knock I have was that the bacon was not the tastiest. I'm a sucker for a good buffalo chicken sandwich, so I also ordered one, and it was delicious, highly recommended it if you come for lunch or if you're not a breakfast person. The fries were also delicious and had a great crisp. Eggsquisite will definitely be part of the brunch/lunch rotation for me and my family going forward!

We actually were headed to a different restaurant in…read morethe Star District but we got diverted by the eclectic menu which had something for everyone. It's a sports bar and restaurant, and the World Cup was going on so it was a bit loud, but it was ok (although the kid complained, but she is at the age that she complains a lot). There is a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The menu has variety with sandwiches, flatbreads, a long list of apps, and other bar type food. We started with the queso and chips, which we thought would come out first. The queso could use some kick as it was very mild. The chips were excellent: light, crispy, and not at all greasy. The wife had a buffalo chicken flatbread and really liked it, she at it all. I had a chicken Philly and really enjoyed it. The chicken was thinly sliced and very tender. There were lots of different peppers and melted queso, so it was a very tasty, gooey, messy sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. The fries were crispy and excellent, very addictive. Our server, Addy, was pleasant and efficient. Prices are reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the kitchen sent the "starter" (queso and chips) out at the same time as the entrees, so we were faced with the dilemma which food to let get cold. It should not be that way. My understanding of "starter" is that it comes out before the main courses. Anyway, that was the only blip. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and enjoyed our dinner.
