I love everything about this place! We went because a friend told us it was good and we had a coupon and we were blown away. The staff is very friendly and we sat down right away on Saturday morning, we actually just barely beat the rush. The menu has something for everyone- healthy items, fresh juice, coffees, and fun items like pancakes covered in ice cream and cotton candy! My husband shared the big breakfast which was the perfect amount to share. Our kids shared a hot cake that was such a fun treat for them! Definitely check it out, you will not be disappointed! I've followed this place for some time on social. The wait always put me off a bit. So I decided to grind through the wait--which was honestly nothing--to try breakfast. And oh, boy was it worth it. The entire experience was second to none in Frisco: from the greeting to checkout; the cleanliness of the restaurant; the service; and obviously the food. The food was an incredible value for such fresh food. Each menu item seems expertly designed. And the coffee. OMG the coffee was amazing. I let our server, Jordan, select the coffee and she did not disappoint. The portions were very large, and the presentation impeccable. Jordan's service was friendly, attentive and very helpful. The owners are also really cool and bring a chill personality to the already chill experience. This will quickly become my Saturday go-to and my weekly coffee shop. This place is a must visit. Great food. Great people. Best coffee in town. Good and strong but not bitter. Avo smash with a side of bacon is a perfect breakfast. Steak sanga (sandwich in Aussie) is great lunch. But the Lamb is the best dish in the house. My wife loves the fresh squeezed juices and the daily baked goods. read more

First off this place is all around great. Best avocado toast I have ever eaten. The amazing part is that the coffee is also great. Usually places don't do both really great. Staffs were helpful and cool except occasionally slow and forget about requests for plates. Ambiance was cozy though it's average size. Full house even on a weekday morning. Food were spot on and delicious. I would definitely return for the food if I'm back to Dallas visiting. read more

This is a small, very busy coffeehouse. I always ask when they plan to expand. The staff are always courteous, efficient, and service is fast. We'll, as a fast as can be, considering they are always busy! The store is not that close for me, but if I need a delicious brew, I'll make the drive. Tried this place for the first time and I loved it! The inside was super cute, modern, and clean. The staff were friendly and service was fast. We ordered a Rocky Roads French Toast, Prawn Linguine, and Eggs Benny. The linguine was super flavorful and I appreciated that they used fresh ingredients. The brioche bread for the French Toast was one of the best I've had in the metroplex area. I do wish there was some fruit to go with it but the gummies and marshmallows were good too! I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict as well, even though I don't usually go for eggs Benedict. The Lavender latte was also aesthetic and yummy! Overall would come again. read more

The place is rather small and intimate. The people there are friendly. The food came out rather quickly and everything tasted delicious. You can stop in for a quick cup of coffee or have a nice meal with a date or friends. I'd say it's a bit pricey above other places but it's charm makes you want to keep on coming back. read more

Among the heroes of this place is the service. Everyone models the owner's peppy vibe and welcomes you with a hearty g'day! They do an exceptional job of fusing some British and Aussie touches with familiar "breaky" bites. The lattes are amazing and egg dishes are simple but filling. Kiddos are dazzled by hot chocolate accompanied by marshmallow skewers while grownups can imbibe with some inventive brunch cocktails (I'm definitely looking forward to a "Manmosa" on our next trip. The Aussie Grind was founded by Angie and Lui Monforte, a husband-and-wife duo from Brisbane who brought Australia’s obsession with quality coffee, food, and hospitality to Texas. After nearly a decade running a café back home, they landed in Frisco and opened The Aussie Grind with one goal: to serve exceptional all-day brunch, top-tier espresso, and create a place that felt like your local—warm, cheeky, and never corporate. Meet the Business Owner: Lui M.

Together with wife Angie, they started and operated a successful cafe in Brisbane “Honour Espresso” which operated for 8 Years. They were voted "Cyclist coffee shop of the year" in 2017 for Australia and New Zealand. A pipeline dream to have a shop in Texas became a reality in 2018, and the huge move from Australia to Frisco began.

Surprisingly, they don't even make the buns in-house despite having a large kitchen. They come shipped frozen, and there hasn't been a delivery due to the holidays. With no buns available, the only options were coffee drinks and scoops of ice cream. For a place known specifically for its buns, that's extremely disappointing. If you can't offer your main product, you shouldn't be open. Not worth the visit.

I will say that if you've had shrimp dumpling or Gyoza before, don't expect anything fancy/new here. Pretty standard. The service at this restaurant is on POINT! The servers are always hustling and checking in often despite how busy things are. Whoever is managing the staff and whoever is cooking in the kitchen is doing a bang-up job. We were in and out in 30min. We love efficiency! This is a great place to go after work or just to get a yummy bite to eat. The Happy Hour makes this place so worth it! There is a large assortment of Yakitori you can order, and some additional starters like their Saffron Mussels. I always start with the Karage because it's a crowd favorite (friend chicken). But if you're here, you're here for the ramen. Now, the hot Texas weather may keep you from ordering a piping hot bowl of ramen. That's ok, because their dry garlic ramen (ramen without the broth) is excellent. It's soft and creamy and the garlic has a bold flavor. Yes, they do ramen right at Wabi House. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Only if I'm in the area. I live in Dallas County, and Frisco is a far drive. Honestly, the Wabi House in Dallas is closer, so I'd only go here if I were in the area. No matter which location I choose, I know it will be great. 1/2 Star.

Disappointing Experience Due to Unprofessional Service We recently dined at Aussie Grind, hoping for a pleasant meal, but were met with disappointing service. The waitress assigned to our table displayed highly unprofessional behavior. She persistently directed her attention towards me in a flirtatious manner, to the extent of excluding my wife from nearly all interactions. Her approach was not only uncomfortable but also disrespectful, as she visibly ignored my wife, even turning her back to her while engaging with me. And not just one time, but every time to exclude my wife. Would ask me if I needed anything while completely ignoring my wife. Even after I started making it overtly clear that I was having nothing to do with her, she went out of her way to stand behind my wife and bend down to try and catch my eyes. This culminated in her offering me a complimentary muffin without extending the courtesy to my wife. Quite frankly, she never cared to ask my wife about her food or anything, treating her like she was in the way. If this is how a woman has to try and flirt and find a man, not only is she desperate, but I have pitty for any man who picks up on the ugliness she leaves behind. We came to Aussie Grind expecting a friendly and inclusive atmosphere but left feeling uneasy and rather pissed off. This experience has unfortunately tainted our perception of the restaurant, and we hope that the management will address such behaviors to improve the dining experience for all patrons. read more

We opted to stay outside, and despite how busy it was, the service was top-notch. Our server was quick, attentive, and incredibly friendly. We ordered coffee, and it was just what we needed--strong, bold, and full of flavor. You could really taste the quality of the coffee, which is rare in many brunch spots. The menu at The Aussie Grind is unique compared to other breakfast places. I ordered the breakfast pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the bubble & squeak, and she loved it as well.
