Ok, we may be matcha snobs. Super impressed with this one. Daughter loved her matcha latte and I loved my yuzu soda. Super cool workers. Even with a longer line (this place is popular), the workers got right through the rush and turned out some beautiful drinks. We loved watching all the different varieties. Be sure to check this place out. Lots of cool Asian shops nearby as well.

Tried the mango sticky rice soft serve and the hojicha latte. I really like the soft serve, it's creamy and had good mango flavor and the sticky rice, mango and coconut milk was good. Really enjoyed it. I tried the hojicha latte and I thought it was okay. It was done super fast after it was ordered so I'm not sure if it was premade or something like that but not a strong hojicha flavor, the dessert is where it's at.

Yesterday was national matcha day and of course after work I had to partake. The location is in a shopping plaza in the first floor. This is a nice courtyard grassy area and a couple of tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy weather on a nice day. I ordered an ice matcha latte , they even served soft served matcha. This place was amazing and beats the $6.17 I wasted ordering matcha at SweetWater in Frisco. Thank you for such amazing service and great matcha latte

Literally the best dessert I've ever had! There's plenty of tables outside to enjoy your ice cream. It was ready fairly quickly, too!

I came to hopefully try their banana pudding matcha, but they didn't have it since their main focus right now was the mango sticky rice float. But then I looked at the menu, they didn't even have that? The only thing they had was mango ice cream, and it was pretty good. I hope to try more seasonal items from them :)

Small matcha shop in the Frisco area with seating on the outside. Inside has a small space that can fit just a few people. No tables or chairs on the inside, but there is something like a bench along the wall to sit. Service was ok, u order by kiosk, they call ur name, u collect your order. Nothing over the top. I rate my matcha 4 out of 10, it was in a small cup and very overpriced. I paid $10, tip included. Tip isn't an issue if the matcha was actually good.

I love matcha. It's so great to see a place that specializes in this unique green beverage. Most people come in for their cold drinks, like iced matcha latte or a fruity matcha drink with soft serve ice cream. Since this was my first time here, I got a hot matcha tea. It was plain, but it worked for me. I was able to get a full taste of the matcha. It had a nice aroma of hot tea with grassy notes, which is what good matcha should taste like. The place is small with ncie wooden benches against one side of the wall. I bet it gets crowded easily during busy hours. There are a couple of tables outside if you want more space. Their Maiko special is visually appetizing with a bunch of delightful ingredients like japanese chestnut, mochi balls, read beans, etc. I would definitely come back to try one of those, or at least a matcha soft ice cream. Yummy!

Quick service. The ice cream was delicious! I had been waiting for the mango sticky rice ice cream to arrive to this location. I got it with mango matcha ice cream. I really like their outdoor area.

I've been going to Matcha Cafe Maiko a few times now and it's such a solid spot for anyone who loves matcha desserts and drinks. Their matcha soft serve is definitely a standout. super creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. The drinks are also really good, especially if you like that strong matcha flavor without it being too bitter or watered down. There are also fun options like ube combinations and seasonal specials, so there's always something new to try. The place itself is small but cute, and it's a nice stop if you're grabbing something quick or just craving a matcha treat. Customer service has always been friendly and efficient in my experience, which makes the visit even better

If you like matcha, you have to come here! I'm so happy they finally opened one in dallas. The first time I tried their matcha was in Hawaii and I went several times because it was THAT good. My husband always gets their maiko special which is basically their soft serve ice cream (we like their matcha ube combo) and a ton of toppings, but today we tried something different. He got their hojicha soft serve with their matcha cake and I got their matcha ube (surprise, surprise!) soft serve with corn flakes. Both were 10/10. Store is pretty small. 2-3 benches inside, with 2 kiosks. Really long hallway. Bathrooms are down the hallway. Very small lobby area; can get really crowded on weekends.

The matcha soft serve was really good and it was definitely worth the drive. That is the best matcha I have ever had Dobby really enjoyed it.

I actually ordered the "Sparkling Yuzu" so I went to a MATCHA shop and didn't get any Matcha... lol I thought my drink was good. It's like a yuzu soda. For what it's worth, my friend ordered the "Strawberry Matcha Latte" and he really liked it. He finished the drink in like 30 secs. No places to sit inside. There are a few tables outside though.

The service was excellent. Very friendly bunch. As per the suggestions in the reviews, we tried the banana bread which comes with strawberry compote and whipped cream. It was delicious. We also ordered the iced coffee and espresso. Our only regret was, we didn't have our kid with us. They would've enjoyed the visit too. Hope to return with them some day.

The tables are pretty close together & isn't as spacious. It's normally crowded during the weekend. When we got there we weren't sure if we had to wait to get seated or just grab a seat. Since no one acknowledged us, we just grab a seat at an empty table. After we sat down, someone came & gave us a menu. I got the egg benedict with bacon. It was unique that it came with sourdough instead of english muffin. Overall the egg benedict was alright. The sourdough gave the dish a sour taste. I didn't like the salad that it came with & some of the leaves weren't fresh. For my drink, I got the aussie iced coffee & it's nothing special. It's pretty much an affogato & tasted just like milk. I also tried the T.A.G big breaky. It wasn't as big as I would expected & it was a little overpriced for the amount you get. The sausage was very dry & overcooked, but everything else was good.

I will preface by saying I am a huge Stumptown fan, so that was the first selling point for me. Second, it is a woman-owned business and lastly, a local business. Count me in! The ambiance when you enter the shop is clean, bright and a total vibe! There is a good amount of seating, but it can fill up quickly when busy. The service is always friendly and prompt even during busy times. I love the seasonal drinks they have, but an Americano is just as good! They also have a good variety of bites, sandwiches and pastries. A couple of my favorites are the chicken tender, the chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. I basically lived off the ham and cheese croissants during my last pregnancy, LOL! You have to stop by and give Coffee U a try when in Frisco. I promise it will be worth it once you get your first sip!

They do put condensed milk in your drink so if you're allergic, want to change preference, this shop is not worth it. my suggestion is to try another coffee shop. They will suggest an alternative drink, but it won't be close to the drink that you want to get. As well, a lot of cross-contamination happens at that coffee shop. If you are allergic to nuts, gluten-free items or anything like that this is not the coffee shop for you. As well there is no dairy free at this coffee shop.
