Bagel Spot is amazing. Met one owner and she was working right along her crew. Everyone is efficient and pleasant. The have a lot of different flavors of bagels to choose from. Who knew jalapeño cheese bagel would be great with tuna salad or egg salad. When you you specify what you like on your bagel they will make it as you requested. I struggle to understand pretty much any review that isn't stellar. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I have lived in Cherry Hill in my entire life. And this place is been in my life the entire time. Whether it was a fresh bag of bagels bright and early in the morning before school or when is there a nice Philo crumbly raspberry pastries that was oh so hard to come by , they always had the absolute best quality. My dad was an overnight cop and he always used to bring home treats from here. The tradition never ended. After my brother moved away it was so common on a Thanksgiving morning or pretty much any other time he came to visit, we would grab a bag of bagels. Any time a friend was in town and needed some help, anytime somebody was moving comma or just anytime I was around in the morning, I would grab a bagel. Okay so now time for the actual review LOL , my most favorite Bagel here is egg! I just love an egg bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese. I highly recommend trying both on a toasted whatever, I know it seems like blasphemy but it's kind of like the best thing ever. I am also very partial to an egg bagel with cream cheese and lox. They have very good lox. I also I'm prone to getting there bagel chips with a little side of Dipping cream cheese. My family favorites of the French toast, the blueberry, the everything which I might add should always be kept in a separate bag because I don't think you want everything tasting like garlic LOL. They also have pastries which sell out super duper fast so if you see one in the case seriously get it. So no matter what you like, this is your place. Tell your friends because this place is mostly Word of Mouth! It is very worth it. But seriously try and egg bagel. I just need to say also also, to the person that was so offended if they don't have meat and apparently very biased against anyone that keeps kosher , they have their standards it's their business. If you want a standard run-of-the-mill piece of garbage bagel with some rotgut meat on it by all means go to Dunkin Donuts like you suggested. I really don't understand why you would hold it against them that they are Kosher. I find it admirable. Their bagels are far superior to any run-of-the-mill Manhattan or Dunkin Donuts. They've been in business all this time for a reason and your crappy review isn't going to hurt them. I personally do not keep kosher as it is not my religious beliefs but if you would compare them to Dunkin Donuts I think you need to get your head checked. read more

This place is great! I've been here several times over the past year and their bagels are always hot and fresh. My favorites are the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and the sesame bagel with lox cream cheese. They have a lot of variety and tons of cream cheese flavors to chose from. read more

I've been going to the Bagel Spot for years. I've tried the bagels at Wegman's and they are very good, but they are a little sparse on the toppings. At the bagel Spot I usually get the "Everything" bagel and there is plenty of everything on the bagel! This place is a Cherry Hill institution, it's been around for years. I've never had a problem with customer service, I don't go there to strike up a conversation, just to get great bagels! read more

This place is the best! Their bagels are delicious. In response to the review who was disappointed that they don't have bacon or meat, this place is KOSHER. That means no meat served with the bagels. The only criticism is that to get a prepared bagel it costs a little more money than I'd like. read more

The woman working was very rude and trashy. I asked if there was a credit card minimum and her response was a killer scowl and an abrupt "What?"... Then I tried to order bacon on my sandwich and she looked at me like I had just strangled a puppy. I didn't know the place was kosher (which is totally fine by me, by the way.. just didn't know). So I ordered egg and cheese on a salt bagel. The bagel itself was good. The egg was cold and the cheese was not melted. I have no idea how long that egg and cheese was sitting out but it was inedible. $4.50 for a paper thin piece of cold egg. I'm sure if a different person was working my entire experience would have been different, but there is no reason for me to ever return to this place. read more

I just moved to the cherry hill area, found this awesome bagel place. I've been coming in on my way to work on my regular Monday-Friday grind and its been great. Im always greeted with an ear to ear smile and the service I get is from my server is great, fast service, very warm and personable, Couldn't say a bad word about it. BUT.... I figured i'd go take my fiance there for breakfast on a Saturday and as soon as I walked in there was a completely different vibe. It was like the reserve players were on the field. They were extremely unprofessional and more worried about gossiping then taking me and fiances order. I was extremely satisfied to say the least and needless to say, I dont think ill be coming in on the weekends anymore, otherwise great spot. read more

I went in at 7 am on a friday morning. I was met by two women with bad attitudes. One was confused when i asked her to count to twelve (three each of four varieties of bagels) and the other made me regret asking for cream for my coffee. Plus, they wouldn't have plain bagels for another half hour. No smiles or thank you's, but plenty of curt answers and blank stares. There are plenty of other bagel shops in the area, that I don't have to suffer through that again. read more

We have been coming here every weekend for the past two years. The bagels are average but there are really no other options close by. I always order a toasted gluten free bagel. Last weekend, as usual, i ordered my gluten free bagel toasted and the woman working there (never seen her before) informs me that she cannot possibly toast a frozen bagel because it cannot be cut in half and asked me how i expected this to be done. She was extremely rude! They always toast my bagels and she began to argue with me. I left with two frozen bagels. If i wanted a frozen bagel i would have went to shoprite! This was not the first time the ladies at the counter have been rude for no reason. The customer service here is horrible and the bagels are not even that good to make up for it!!!! Just visited bagel spot. Was very disappointed. Toasted sesame was just warm not crunchy. Egg was well cooked. Choice of cheese? Na da. American cheese only. Even though they have mozzerella for the pizza they wouldn't put it on my bagel. Also, there's no meat products for your bagel. No bacon, ham or turkey products. read more

I went there today for a breakfast. I tried to order an everything bagel with garlic herb cream cheese with lox on it. I was trying to bring the price to $5 cause I only had a card on me. The lady that took my order thought that I was ordering two different bagels. I thought that I was clear enough when saying that I wanted to add the lox on to the bagel but I guess not. They gave me a refund (the lady that did for me didn't look too happy about it) but she did it and gave me a bag when I asked for it. The lox and cream cheese came out great. It has good food but the people have to listen to the customers more, especially when they are new here. Verify everything and make sure you get the order right before charging. And they could be a little more friendlier to people as well. I will go back there again for my lox but i hope they become more friendly and more accommodating to customers who are new and don't know what to order read more

well let me start off by saying that I am kind of a bagel connoisseur. I've had bagels from all over New Jersey and New york since childhood. The bagels if purchased in the morning are hot and delicious. Otherwise any later in the day they are just your average run of the mill bagels. Service, on the other hand, can leave much to be desired!! I was in the store yesterday morning and the two women that I encountered were complete opposites. The taller of the two was very pleasant and seemed to really get along with the customers. The other one, well lets just say she could try out for the wicked witch of the easts in the wizard of Oz! She was out right mean and rude to anyone who interrupted her obvious not wanting to be there attitude. She left me baffled with her behavior! She started off by snapping at me when I was trying to decide between an everything bagel or just an onion bagel. She was very impatient and made me very uncomfortable in front of the other customers. Ive seen her in the store before yesterday and it seems like she even made the other employees put out. I don't know how she could possibly be working with the public with a demeanor like that. As much as I like the bagels, I don't think I will be returning any time soon! I dont believe that woman is the owner, but if not I would advice finding new help! Until then I will be purchasing bagels elsewhere! read more

I can't stop going to this place when I am in the mood for a good bagel sandwich, it is right next to my job! Some workers are more friendly than others. But my biggest disappointment is the amount of whitefish or tuna they put on my sandwich. This place is not cheap and I expect a good scoop. This place is overpriced, dirty, and the customer service is worse than atrocious. The older lady at the counter, who looked and acted like the owner, rudely took my order, as if she was doing me a favor. As my bagels were being toasted (or should I say barely toasted and then burned, seeing as how this place doesn't know how to lightly brown a bagel) the same older woman came up and asked why my bagels were being toasted. The girl toasting them replied that this was the order. The older woman shook her head and mumbled about how she should have charged me for that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MUCH too expensive - $10.80/dozen - and that's a REGULAR dozen, NOT a baker's dozen. The bagels themselves were just okay. I'll cut them a LITTLE slack because I bought them at 11 am. Still, they SOLD them to me at the regular price at that time, so I expect their regular quality (whatever that may be). Who knows? Maybe this is their regular quality. rediculous. i went here for a bagel sausage egg and cheese. well apparently they are a kosher bagel place(WTF???)which it says no where on the window and apparently they dont serve sausage. so i'm like oooookkkk...lets not make a big stink over it. then give me a plain bagel toasted with butter(even though i reeeally was craving a fresh non processed wawa/mcdonalds type sausage egg and cheese) the girl goes and gives my bagel to a guy in the back. the girl goes off and does some work stuff. a little later the guy from the back walks up and puts a bag with what i think is my bagel(since i'm the only person in there) on the counter and just kinda looks at me like..here ya go. so i go to my truck to eat. weeeelll its not my bagel. its got some cream cheese crap and onions and other crap on it. and i hate cream cheese and onions so now i'm getting annoyed. i proceed to put the bagel back in the small ass bag but instead it falls apart getting cream cheese and crap on my seat. so now i'm reeeeaallly annoyed. all i wanted was a damn sausage egg and cheese from a real bagel place. (which they really should make a point of saying SOMETHING on the window about being kosher and not having certain meats. if i'd read that on the window i wouldnt have wasted my time. who ever expects a bagel place to not provide sausage egg and cheese?? c'mon people.) so i throw it out cuss i dont wanna go back in and be super rude. i look for another bagel place near by but it closes before i can get there. so i end up going to MOD pizza instead which turned out to be pretty good. moral of the story..if youre a specialized bagel place that dosent offer certain things...make a point to make it known. i really wanna give it one stars but since i didnt actually taste anything and for all i know it woulda been the best bagel ever, i'll give it two to be nice read more
