I am SO happy that this location opened in Oakley! I checked it out last weekend with my husband and we had a very pleasant experience. + Speed, Friendliness, Taste It was Saturday morning around 9:30am and, although there was a line, we were in and out in under five minutes. We were expecting it to take a bit longer, so this was very impressive! The workers were very friendly and helpful. We ordered small coffees and were handed cups. There is a self-serve station on the counter. I asked a worker for milk to put in my coffee and she pointed out that the half & half and oat milk are kept in the top right of the open cooler, which is awesome that they have these and especially that they keep them cold and fresh. Most places have coffee creamers/milk sitting out on the counter for hours upon hours. Our bagels were incredible! I love that they have a menu with sandwich options, and that they give you the option to build your own. We loved the bagels so much that we returned the very next morning! My husband got the same bagel sandwich (bacon avocado on asiago) and I decided to try a simple blueberry bagel with cream cheese. It was sooo good! We will definitely continue coming back! I also noticed that they offer ordering ahead. They place these order ahead/to-go orders on the shelves/counter in the pickup area. This reminds me of Starbucks pickup but it seemed like customers had to stand there and wait to talk to a worker and say their name. Maybe they could have browsed through the paper bags on their own but they were just being patient and polite...I am not sure. But if I was in a hurry and it was peak busy time, I would like to order ahead and be able to simply grab my order and go. Maybe some people prefer to have a worker manage this so that orders are not taken (maybe that happens?). All in all, incredible experience and I am excited to continue trying more bagels and bagel sandwiches. read more

Definitely one of the best bagel places in the Oakley area. On weekends it can be crowded and a little slow but the bagel sandwiches make up for that. Also makes it easy that you can preorder online. I love getting a half dozen bagels for the week! read more

I recently have been more conscious about my meat consumption so I wanted to try the veggie option and I will definitely be coming back! The Bagelry is known for being one of the top bagel places in the area and it is certainly for good reason! I've come to this location a handful of times, and I also usually will get a Bagelry bagel if I see it at one of the local coffee shops. They have a great selection of bagel types but generally lean more savory. They have tons of cream cheeses to choose from (or you can stick to butter like me!) and you can also make it into a bagel sandwich! There's lots of options for anyone regardless of how you like your bagel. They have an online ordering option but even if you're in-store it is super quick. I will say - if you're going around peak hours on a weekend, you're likely going to have to take it to go since there isn't a ton of seating inside. And my fiancé is from New Jersey and these are his favorite in the area (so I would say they're Jersey approved ;)) - if you're craving a high quality bagel this is definitely the place to go! read more

Stopped here after sitting at the coffee shop (Red Tree) for a brunch and it was so good. I really wasn't expecting a ton since it looks like a stop and go place but it was the best bagel I've had in a minute. I got a Asiago bagel with lox, tomatoes, and cream cheese and it was so so good. Will be stopping by again soon. read more

One of the best bagels I've eaten outside of New York - chewy, flavorful, with the perfect hint of rosemary throughout. The bacon scallion cream cheese really makes the sandwich! SO GOOD. read more

I LOVE the bagelry. Been coming here ever since they opened up their Oakley location. Only giving four stars because recently it seems like they changed their sausage supplier and it's much drier and has a weird spice note. I ordered a bacon sandwich as a backup the last time I went and the only difference was the meat yet the bacon sandwich hurt my jaw to eat because the bagel was so tough- no issue with bagel softness on the sausage. Thought it was a coincidence but today I got a bacon egg and cheese on plain and it was so tough again. I wonder if they cook it longer to crisp the bacon?? Hope they fix that or go back to their old sausage patties because I lovvvveeee this place. read more

This place has the best bagels in town! I love the location in OtR so I had to check out their new place in Oakley. My lox sandwich was delicious (and filling), they have all the classic bagel flavors, and their sandwiches are uniformly great. Plus the space is so pretty. It's hard to find a good bagel shop that makes a variety of sandwiches, too. The Bagelry has fun combinations, or you can create your own. Of course, they have bagels and cream cheese options, as well. It was quite crowded at 10:00 on a Sunday when we went. 5 Stars if you want to grab a bite. There isn't really anywhere to eat (no chairs just an elongated windowsill you can stand at if you really want). I had their basic breakfast bagel w meat and cheese, and if I hadn't added other toppings it would have been under $7. That's great takeout for me! read more
