First of all, it's a very pretty place in the Williams Inn. And the staff was great. We sat at the bar and ordered a few things to tide us over til dinner later, elsewhere. I love that the menu has clear listings of what's gluten and dairy free. What we got was pretty good, but there were lots of options we weighed, because so many things sounded great. I would definitely go back.

Enjoyed a memorable dinner at The Barn Kitchen & Bar. We started with the simple salad, which was light and refreshing with a delicious dressing. For our mains, we ordered the risotto and the pork chop, both executed beautifully. You know this restaurant is using quality fresh ingredients. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the risotto was light and full of flavor. Attentive, friendly service in a beautiful restaurant. One of my favorite meals in the area. Definitely add this spot to your list.

Great place for lunch / brunch. Interior is decorated beautifully in a modern barn theme. Service was excellent. Brunch menu has classic items such as Eggs Benedict as well as sharable like the Tuscan Thighs.

I really wanted to fall in love with the restaurant but too many things have gone wrong for me to fully embrace this place. First off, we are guests of the inn and the inn is so charming and contemporary that we thought we would be in for a treat having read that this restaurant is a farm to table style concept. Walking up to the hostess, we were told there are no availability for the evening, We asked for following day, and nope. I made a reservation online shortly after on Yelp and voila, no problem at all. Having read other people's review, this is not the first time this has happened. I will just leave it at that and not say anything more. When we came in, we were promptly seated which was good. For appetizer, we had the mussels which was really good and tasty for $17. For entree, I had the bacon cheeseburger $19 and they cooked it to perfection. I asked for fries instead of salad. My son got the pasta with bolognese sauce $24 which he ate every bite. My wife got the daily special of duck cassoulet $26 which came out subpar. The presentation was a bit sloppy with duck sitting on a bed of beans. That plus it wasn't the best duck she ever had. For dessert, my wife got the flourless cake which she felt it was bit too dry. All in all, some hits on the food and also some misses. Additionally, the wait time is somewhat a bit slow.

We came here for Mother's Day. The food was delicious and it was a quiet morning. The service was great. The bathrooms off the bar area needed maintenance (no toilet paper), but otherwise it was a nice experience.

Nice restaurant connected to Williams Inn. Decent avocado toast and bagel spread. Hostess was a bit slow bc we had not made reservations. Otherwise good!

The salad itself wasn't bad. I enjoyed the dressing. The chicken was mediocre at best. No seasoning on the chicken and it was a little rubbery. My vegetarian daughter might have rated it higher as she doesn't eat meat. Who knows. I would like to try to place an order in person and see if the experience is any different.

However they do deserve a five star rating because they are offering something different compared to any other place in Catskill. The place is called "The salad bar" however their sandwiches are just as good if not better than the salad. The ingredients are always fresh and I've never been disappointed. Prices are fair considering the quality and overall we need more places that are different and unique like this in the village. They have small cozy area for you to chill and enjoy your meal and the service is always quick and friendly. Many of the towns in the Hudson Valley have been revitalizing their downtown areas with great success but Catskill Village seems to be moving a lot slower compared to those other areas. The salad bar is one of those places that's helping it move forward.

I'm a super picky eater.SUPER. PICKY! It's annoying af for me but worse for anyone with me, I think lol. We couldn't find a place to eat bc we had gotten in kinda late. I looked on Yelp! And found this place. Not a big Mexican food fan, but I would find something. This place is great. I, being like a 5 year old kid, ordered a plain chicken burrito. They thought I was kidding. I get that a lot when I order at restaurants lol. They were THEEE nicest guys that worked here. Was kind of refreshing tbh bc you go into most places these days and well....they are people who truly hate working with the public lol. Prices weren't bad at all. It was legit worth every penny and then some. Even if I ordered some plain sh*t, the chicken was SO good and spicy. I know this place already does amazing even without reviews. BUT! If you are in the area and need a restaurant that doesn't close at like 6! Bc Manchester legit shuts down SO. EARLY! Avocado Pit, I believe is open until 9. Smart move on their part. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Wish we had them here in Idaho. Thanks for reading, YelpAvocado'ers! Cheers!

As I was paying for my meal, I was tempted by the Nutella(?)-drizzled chocolate chip cookies at the checkout line. I quickly snagged one and can confirm it was delicious. The limeade was a little too sweet for my taste, but it had a good amount of tang. Sadly, my breakfast burrito was extremely bland despite having cilantro, onions, black beans, and corn. While I really wanted to like this restaurant, I can't justify the bland flavor given the high prices.
