I seriously don't know why the heck this place has such good reviews. We sit down and our table and seats are sticky. The table was dirty. Smokers everywhere. We had to move tables because we were getting drowned in smoke. Not to mention my water had an eyelash in it and she acted like it was no big deal. Our waitress was a ditz. My dad ordered a beer and it never came. I asked her what was on the key lime chicken sandwich seasoning and she's like, "Uh I don't know." So I'm like ok I'll get that. So our food comes and my sandwich has one piece of lettuce and tomatoe (which I took off.) The Key Lime Chicken Sandwich has no key lime taste whatsoever. It just tasted like plain chicken. The chicken wasn't very warm. Chick Fa La has much better grilled chicken sandwiches. The fries were good. But at all costs, avoid this place!!! read more

Beautiful ocean views inside and out. Great service. Delicious Bloody Marys and drinks at reasonable prices. We ordered chicken wings, fries, and peel and eat shrimp w/melted butter. Breakfast was great. I had a chorizo and bacon sandwich with home fries. My waitress Dasha was the best. She Knew the menu and could give great advice on all the options. Very friendly and polite staff. Cocktails were amazing and I loved that that cup changed colors as you drink it. Definitely recommend it and sit outside if there is availability. People come here for the view-- large tiered outside patio with tables and umbrellas overlooking the ocean. Beautiful! I had the fish tacos which were okay. The food here is pretty bomb and you can't ask for a better beach-front location. The prices are on the high end for the portion sizes which is the only drawback to me. But maybe to be expected given the novelty of the location. Still a solid spot especially if you're from out of town or if you have family in and they want to go to "a beach restaurant." read more

On top of gum found on my plate, a bug in my drink, Half the girls with hickeys on there necks I got to listen to a Asshole of a manger yell at one of the waitresses on the floor for asking if she could be cut next because she felt bad! The food is good here but we also loved to come for the atmosphere. It's was great to sit by the fire pits when it was chilly and the live music along with all the lights they had made it one of my favorite places to come and eat and drink overlooking the ocean. I'm afraid since they removed the ambience along with the live music that we will have to find another place to frequent. It's a disappointment and doesn't feel the same at all. I wouldn't recommend going unless they bring these things back. read more

There is new ownership and it's the pits. The service was absolutely terrible. We got our food who h took forever before we got our second round of drinks. Basically just spent 6 hours waiting for ok food. They chardger us for sweet tea refills! And the patrons at the bar are rowdy and confrintational. I'm had to go to the bar to get my drink bc my waitress was taking forever and the patron was so horrible to me and the bar tender just encouraged him. I just wanted my over priced drink and was nothing but polite to the staff. I did not deserve to be treated so rudely and to have a staff member encourage his actions was insult to injury. read more

I am doing weight watchers (for the third time) and ordered the steamed broccoli side...holy sh*t!! I ordered it because I'm dieting and so must reluctantly always order vegetables. It was probably the best broccoli I've had in any restaurant. I was shocked. All the food was great. Fire pit area very nice. Nice waitress. If you don't want "greasy food" don't order greasy items. I got grilled fish tacos which were not at all greasy. Everyone else ordered greasier items and liked them. Went here on the advice of a local. Yikes! its a dump located inside another dump. Food was bland, drinks yucky (sticky glasses) and the ambiance was early mirror wall and sticky, dirty. Our waitress was either new or not very bright. My wife did like the wine. read more

I love the Beach Bucket! I mean you can't really get much closer to the beach this this place. Laid back, a lot of people are coming straight from the beach so don't go here if wet swimsuits bother you. Fun atmosphere, and drinks. Food is pretty good and interesting for what could just be a burger joint. My fiance had a delish ahi tuna situation, and I had a great chicken dish. Did I mention the parking lot is right next door? Really easy beach access, which is sometimes really hard to find. I think this will be our go to place for the Ormond Beach area. Loved it. Felt really relaxed and happy after having lunch overlooking the ocean. AWESOME read more

Food was good. Had the steak panini. Service was good even though they were short staffed. 2 Star because in 2022 they allow smokers which ruins everyone else's experience. Smoking while dining is disgusting and smokers that do it are rude. We had to get up and leave because two people lit up at the table next to us. I would love to give Beach Bucket at least 4 stars because we always love the location (even better since the renovation) but this is one of those places you have to allow extra time for slow service. Granted, some of it isn't their fault because they have a very small kitchen, and we REALLY do love the beachfront location, but we just wish service was a little quicker. They were not observing social distancing at all and I didn't feel safe. The staff wasn't wearing masks either. We met our mother and moved to another table because I physically couldn't sit at a high table I have a leg disability. We took EVERYTHING we had been given even water and napkins. They accosted is after we had re sat and embarrassed us and said DID WE KNOW THAT YOU HAD A DISABILITY when we sat you? And then tried to shame us into moving back to the other table. They took no concern that both tables were empty and only were angry someone would have to wipe down the original table. This is a rude place with no real interest in social distancing and is too uncaring to care about someone with a disability. NEVER AGAIN! We are local and will not recommend it to anyone. They are rude and uncaring. We left. read more
