Parking = $20-100 for events. Plenty of street metered parking for $25, only 2 blocks away. If you preorder your parking, you can get it for $22. Decent amounts of food and drink options. Service - Security was smooth. Long lines but quick. Ushers were friendly. The men's room had an attendant, so clean. But mostly everything is self service. Glad someone opened the emergency exits, because thousands of people waiting to go down an escalator would have taken us over an hour! Price - Depending on your seats. My daughter waited until the last second and got discounted seats + parking, dinner, gas, toll, etc. totalled $200 for our father daughter date. Went 2x recently, for the Sacramento Kings Draft Party, and day 1 of the Summer League…read more Located downtown Sacramento, there are plenty of options for parking, most are parking garages within short walking distance, or there is some metered parking that may require a little longer and more adventurous walk to stadium. There is a strict bag policy so be sure to read up on it if you are taking in an event so as not to delay your entry. Going through security is easy enough, voth security. And the ticket scanner/door workers are always pleasant and efficient in processing you into the arena. Both the draft party, and summer league were informal, so most tickets were general admission and your were free to sit almost anywhere(barring the first 3 or 4 rows). (The draft party initially only had 5-7 sections open , but as the crowd grew closer to draft, more sections were opened . There were a few basic concessions open, for water, beer, hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza, and a few of the other stands. Not all concessions that are normally open for concerts or regular season games were open, but was able to get chicken strips that were pretty good in quantity, and quality with fries and a beer. All in all, was a fun time, and a nice arena.

We were treated to popcorn, sweet treat bags, mini corn dogs and cold bottled drinks. The popcorn containers were made special for movie night, and a keeper, made of hard plastic. There was three chances to win prizes as well, and a photo op balloon display. Everything looked festive with the Cars theme, and the staff were great. Our season ticket specialists and reps made sure the event was fun for us, and a perfect movie night. Parking validations were provided in the DOCO lot nearby, and covered the entire $18 charge. Movie night is another benefit provided to Season Ticket Members.

Sure, if you can't survive a couple hours without alcohol, you can splurge and sink some earnings in to a beverage and even scarf down some food for a premium. Passed on all that this time. This felt permanently temporary and with good reason- it is. It was exciting to stomp on the metal bleachers when that happened. It also felt like a high school rally where the kiddos would stomp and pout and make as much noise as they could. Found myself applauding because that seemed appropriate at the time but could not understand what seemed like trying to play an instrument with your feet on the metal bleacher. Parking seemed convenient enough. $15 for the evening with a back exit to split when the time came. It will cost more at the new place because this is left over space from a pretty much fallen California Exposition Center. They'll have to pave new lots. Yay. Bathrooms were porta-potties. Most of them were anyways. Yet another permanently temporary band-aid. Let's hope they don't take them out to the new stadium. Food venues looked like leftovers from the fair. Not about that. The "premium" spots gated and guarded by folks who want more money to sit down will hopefully get some real upgrades as opposed to the fancy net protecting them at this place. We went to the fair during the last weekend and met up with a couple friends. I did some research beforehand, to see what the best foods were just because I didn't want to waste money and be disappointed on food items. I'm glad I did that because most of the food items I got from the recommendations I saw online, I enjoyed. We got hot dog on a stick (classic), pickle lemonade, chicken kebab, cinnamon roll, lobster fries... now I'm going to say hot dog on a stick was the best. Maybe I'm biased, lol. But, I do have to say, I didn't eat anything that made me say I would love to get it again next year. I knocked down one star because it is expensive. Be prepared to spend lots of money! Admission price is I believe $15 per person? I can't remember. Parking was $15. Each food/drink item ranges from maybe $10-$30. If you want to ride any rides and play any games, that is additional money as well. There are also vendors inside selling stuff. So, just make sure you come prepared to spend a lot but I feel like that is expected when you go to the fair. However, my friends and I made the most of it! So, we had a great time. I was so excited to go on my day off and a HUGE THANK YOU to Aileen & her hubby for inviting me and my plus 1! We arrived separately from Aileen & her hubby. Parking was $15 for this event and we found a spot quickly and not too far away. When we arrived close to 4, there was not a long line to get through getting checked in. Thanks again to Aileen for giving me a heads up about what kind of bag I was allowed to carry, I showed up with a clear backpack and the strip search was a breeze... just kidding, lol, but the bag search only took seconds. As we walked in, our picture was taken and we were handed a ticket to check out our picture on the way out. We headed straight for food. The prices were a little scary... finding the least price corn dog being $7. My friend went with that while I searched for something exciting... long story short, I ended up with a corn dog as well, lol. We ventured into the beer garden and the wine garden. The blackberry slushi really hit the spot. It was a little sweet, you would almost never know there was wine in it. While the sun was beating down on us, heating up that black pavement, we appreciate the shades above, as well as some of the cool zones where giant fans were available to provide some relief. Those small tent areas were always packed when we walked by. Finally, we decided to go inside the buildings and found the air conditioning was the place to be. It was nice checking out the vendors. I bought some tasty beef jerky... a small pack for $10. I tried some pretty good salsa, too. This is where we found the cinnamon rolls. There were cool combinations like the cinnamon bacon bomb, the biscotti cinnamon roll... we decided to try the tres leeches roll. Service was fast and we happen to get a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven where the cinnamon and sugar were still bubbling. What a tasty treat ($16). Feeling how overwhelming the heat was, we were very hesitant to go outside, but I was really looking forward to checking out the lowriders exhibit... I'm not sure if there are words to describe the beauty of the hard work they've put into perfection. Where can I see more of these? The Lowrider exhibit took my breath away. Next, I was excited to see there was an Egyptian exhibit for King Tutankhamun... King Tut Experience. We got to see replicas of the most iconic treasures, golden shrines, thrones, jewelry, ceremonial beds, his state chariot, and more. It was interesting me was laid to rest with 93 pairs of sandals to take with him into his next life. There was reading material available with each artifact. There was reading for Nefertiti, Anubis, and even Howard Carter; who carefully excavated King Tuts tomb in 1922... I am fascinated by ancient Egypt and the secrets they still hold... this history lesson was beautiful... Tina Marie was the hypnotist on stage a few times throughout the day. She was very entertaining... as well as her special guests who volunteered to be hypnotized. Bravo to all of them!!! Aileen and I met up again halfway during Tina Marie's show and high tailed it over to the Sky River Stage where we would be enjoying some of the best songs of the 70's and 80's by Yaht Rock Revenue. They were soooo goooood!!! They were singing songs I listened to as a kid with my parents.. we were surrounded by some of the best people singing and rocking out.. I had an amazing time with Aileen!!! In the end, I had to chevk out the rides. I didn't get on, but I loved watching other people ride and I laughed as they screamed with joy and fear, lol.. I wish they would've made it easier to find the water stations, but other than that, we had a fantastic time!!

It is located on the northern part of the campus closer to J Street. Parking is pretty easy with a very large parking garage near the facility which includes abundant EV charging. The Nest is actually on the smaller side. They recently repainted the interior which makes it a little darker and feeling a little smaller than before. Seating is basic with bleachers and retractable chairs along the side court section. The nice part of this is that all seats are really close to the action. As you enter the Nest, there is a small concession stand selling nonalcoholic drinks and snacks. Tickets are sold online, but they also sell tickets at the game. Restrooms are small and old, but the crowds are usually small so it's not an issue on the mens side. Staff are great and helpful, even for the opposing team's fans. If you are like me and root for the other team, sit behind the visitors bench for the "Away" section. Come here for a great basketball game. The games are less than two hours and action packed. Sure, you could pay more and see professionals downtown. However, the Hornets Nest is a great way to see the action up close and is cheap enough for the whole family to enjoy.
