They take appointments and walk ins. Pretty clean nail salon with decent prices. I messaged them through yelp and was able to make an appointment for the morning the very next day. Decent selection of colors. I showed them a picture of the nails and I wanted and they were able to make a similar look. I didn't notice a prices/menu board or anything so I just asked the person doing my nails. read more

I am normally the type of person who sticks to the places I have always been to, but with a broken nail, nails that desperately needed a fill, and an eyebrow wax by tomorrow!! I decided I'd try something new, I was actually on my way to try a different salon when I discovered this new place! (Was fate!) I rushed Inside and everything looked so nice, I explained my situation and they took me in and helped me out. I even brought in some nail decals and one of the ladies said she would put them on for me, I was definitely not disappointed with my choice to try this place!! My nails came out amazing with my decals.. PERFECT, and my brows look just as great. I think I've found a new place AND close to home, and it is not too expensive, try this spot! Annie was great! She worked fast and efficiently, which I appreciate. I DM'd their Instagram for an appointment on Friday evening and was able to get a spot that Sunday morning which was amazing! I wanted to get the Gel X extensions and wasn't exactly sure how the process/after care worked and Annie was able to explain everything to me. She made my experience great and always checked with me that I liked the shape, color and final product. An overall great experience and being new to this area, I think I found my spot! This place looks really nice and has a wide range of Colors both regular polish and gel as well as lots of dip powder colors. I was convinced to come here due to the great reviews but unfortunately my experience was different. Im not sure if my nail Tech was tired or having a bad day or hates her job but she just seemed like she didn't want to be there or do nails. From the start she just asked me what shape I wanted but didn't ask me anything else. I told her I had a picture of the design and she said nothing in response. I decided to show her just so we could be on the same page and she looked at it and said nothing. I told her I wanted the length on the shorter side, when she was filing I felt they were too long and I asked if she could shorten them and she rolled her eyes at me and seemed so annoyed that she had to spend extra time to cut, file and reshape them. I get it it takes more time but there wasn't any clients waiting and it wasn't gonna take her a super long time. when she pushed my cuticles down to file she used a technique i haven't experienced before that really hurt. when you're pushing down hard all around someone cuticle with your nail you'd think that may possibly cause your client pain, and a reasonable thing would be to ask if your client is comfortable. She didn't even tho i was trying hard not to verbally wince I was squeezing my eyes shut in pain. I could've said it hurt but I was so overall uncomfortable that I didn't think she'd give two ships about it which clearly She did not and I just wanted to get out of the salon. Overall my nails look cute but they're still too long for my liking causing me to struggle taking my contacts on/off every day and the experience was not relaxing in the least. Sadly I won't be coming back because of that nail techs treatment. read more

This place is clean and beautiful. Safety precautions are taken here at this nail salon. I loved my pedicure and my daughter liked her full set of nails. The only reason I gave them a 4 is because they pushed my daughters appointment back an hour after saying she was not getting her pedicure after all. They did not tell us until an hour later. Communication was bad on just this part. Her nails did come out nice. I have attached a photo. Also the nail tech did not have her wash her nails after her being done and before color as you can see all the dust around the nail. But she did do a good job as you can see only bad part is the dust around the nail. This is also why I I only added 4 stars. Make an appointment ahead of time. We did but we were still there over 2 1/2 hours. read more

SO happy this new gem just opened up in this area. This nail salon is super cute, trendy, clean and spacious. They have a HUGE selection of nail polish colors, I love it! The nail techs are very nice and attentive. I had a gel manicure and spa pedicure done. They were super patient and took their time which I greatly appreciated. The best part is with a salon with the quality like theirs you would think the pricing would be super expensive but they office pricing competitive with the other nail salons in the area. Really nice place! Good service. Seems like a fairly Fairly new establishment. I requested an appointment through the Yelp app and they got back to me very quickly. Schedule for an hour later to get my pedi. Grace was really nice and did a great job. Deluxe pedicure was a reasonable price and included the regulars along with callus treatment, scrub, massage, and hot towel for $26. Very happy with the service. Will be back! read more

Followed my pedicure lady here! She is literally thee BEST (Tracy). Worth the drive. She just does the most amazing job with everything- massage, cuticles (with I have endless supply of), polish and my occasional ingrown. She also speaks English! The shop is gorgeous! I've been here a handful of times and I can honestly say that Tracy does her job as a manicurist very well. No matter whether I'm getting a pedicure or a manicure, she does an exceptional job. She pretty much is my go-to gal here. I appreciate that this nail salon is run by appointment only because then I won't have to sit around & wait for a long period of time had I just walked in. I would advise for any new customers to follow their salon's IG account: thebeautybar.ontario to request for an appointment. Additionally, the salon is very clean and well maintained, along with having a wide variety of different nail colors in different consistencies (i.e. regular polish, gel, dip powder). The pricing of services, to me, is reasonable as opposed to other salons who have hiked up their prices recently. I would definitely recommend The Beauty Bar for anyone who is looking to try somewhere new because of the good work that they do. read more

I got a pedicure here on Thursday it's was $27 Because it came with the foot scrub and callus remover and Gel polish Which was $15 extra. The pedicure was good I had no complaints about it. Until about three hours later my big toe started hurting. I don't know what happened but my toe is swollen and it painful. This place had really good reviews and I was excited to get my toes done after a year of not doing them. The nail salon is really clean and it has a really nice aesthetic but my foot is swollen and it's kind of hard for me to walk. read more

This nail salon is certainly a hidden gem! The salon was clean and beautiful. All of the staff took safety precautions such as wearing masks, gloves, and enforced social distancing. I was scheduled for a pedicure and was seen on time which was great. Zoey was my technician and she did an AMAZING job--honestly one of the best pedicures I've ever received! She was very detailed when it came to trimming my cuticles and removing dead skin. Above all, I was super impressed with her gentle technique in treating my ingrown toenails. She was precise and was able to relieve the pressure and pain that my ingrowns were causing me. I really appreciated the time and attention that Zoey paid to my pedi and because of her, I will definitely return in the future! read more

This was my first visit and I contacted them through here and was able to get a same day appointment thankfully. I am very pleased with Annie's service today. I really liked that she took off my cuticle (not a lot of places do that) and my nails are nicely filed without messing up the shape. I'd 100% recommend her, they also ONLY take appointments. This place is 10 minutes or less from my house so I definitely found my nail place. read more

I have found my new nail place. I received a response regarding an appointment for the upcoming week quickly. I have been looking around for a place that does Gel X, and came across this salon. My appointment was today and I love my nails (which were in bad shape coming in). I decided to cut my own toenails a couple weeks ago (due to ingrown toenail pain, *not smart, I know), but my toenails look and feel great now! I would also suggest updating the nail color catalogs. The selection was pretty small, and a lot of the color samples were ripped out. When I sat in the chair to correct the chrome issue, I informed him the I also thought the nails were too thick. (He knew from the beginning I was not going to add length) he simply replied "your nail is too short." They were the same length when we started... as a nail tech he should of known maybe the acrylic would of been an issue. Mind you, I already mentioned to him I was unhappy about the thickness... to correct the issue what does he do..... add more thickness... another layer of gel polish, clear coat, chrome and then another clear coat. I understand he was working on another client, but if he would of said can you come back later and I'll fix it, I would have. The more I look at this set, the more upsetting it is... $70 wasted... I can't even remember his name. I wish I did.

They would benefit from have a few techs for strictly walk ins. Not everyone can schedule service. Sometimes you just spare time. Music no one wants to hear the "Rap profanity". Better music choice would be nice.
