Today we discovered a swarm of bees in our large birdhouse. I called at 2 and was able to make a same day appointment between 4 and 5. Ted showed up promptly at 4. He was kind, courteous and professional. He taped up the birdhouse and cut it down. He told me he would take it out to wine country and release the bees. Ted was very nice and even great with my kids. He let them hear the buzzing through the bag. I don't want my kids afraid of bees so this helped him. I miss you! I had a fantastic experience with the Bee Guys: They were prompt, courteous, honest and up front about the pricing, and most importantly, they took care of the bee problem. I noticed a hive of bees in our palm tree, about 25 feet up. I originally had a tech from another bee removal company (I won't name his business) come by to look at the problem. He told me over the phone that it would be in the low $100's, but once he was there he said it would be $600-$800 because he'd need to build a scaffolding structure to get to the bees. He also tried to tell me that it wasn't a hive and that it was a swarm that would go away on its own--it had been there for two weeks and I was sick of all the bees and bee carcasses in my yard. I told the first guy to take a hike and called The Bee Guys. I explained the situation to them and they assured me it would be $180 to remove the bees. They gave me an exact time to expect the techs. About 15 minutes before the appointed time, Anthony called, said he was en route and he'd be there in a few minutes. He arrived right on time. Once he was there, he assessed the situation, told me there was a hive there and that he would take care of it, for the quoted price of $180. He swiftly took care of the bees, cleaned up the yard and even cut down a few extra seed pods on the palm tree that were attracting bees. Additionally, he spayed a vinegar based bee repellant on the hive tree and several others nearby to keep them from coming back. In short, The Bee Guys were totally professional, completely honest about their pricing and super efficient in removing the bees. I highly recommend the Bee Guys, especially Anthony. THESE GUYS SUCK! Very unprofessional and rude beyond belief! They never called back, and when they did they missed both appointments I had set up. I had to go through someone else that was ACTUALLY LICENSED to remove the bees. Please save your time and money and go through someone else. I personally recommend "The Bee Detective". After that I found that honey was leaking inside my sons room and they wanted to charge me a insane amount to come back and open my walls to remove it. after having the bee guys come out twice already, it has been 6 months and the bees are already back. When asking about a guarantee they stated they only offered a 30 day guarantee. There are still honeycombs/hives from when the bees were there the first two times they removed them. When i asked about these they stated there was no need to take them down, once the bees were gone they wouldnt come back. Well it is just 2 months later and the bees are back in the same tree. The Bee Guys owner or representative has still not called me to try to settle this matter. I have filed a complaint against his Contractor license. The contractor license board sent me a letter stating that the company has been informed of the complaint and advised to try to settle it but still no contact. Would not use this company read more

Between bees and spiders I'm not sure which scares me more, all I know is that I'm scared to death of both. So when I noticed a giant swarm in one of my orange trees yesterday I was terrified. I called my mom for help and she said that if she called our usual exterminator service they would tell me to just wait until the next day, they'd leave on their own. I insisted we call around, I have four large dogs that go potty in the backyard where that tree is and I didn't see how I'd take them each out to go potty in the front yard for a few days until they decided to leave. We got a hold of The Bee Guys and the man that came did a great job. He has nerves of steel, he just vacuumed them up and sprayed a repellent. There was maximum 15 still here by the time he left and now maybe about 5 that aren't looking so good. I would definitely suggest them to anyone. They sure saved my day yesterday!!! read more

If you have a Bee problem, my suggestion is to call a Licensed Pest control company, they are better at SOLVING the problem so it doesn't happen again and a lot less expensive. I have had this company out twice in 1 year and the reason the bees keep coming back is that I discovered a nest just inside the small vent hole where the bees were going in. The last time this company came out they assured me that the bees were not nesting inside the attic. I decided to cover the 12 small holes with screen mesh myself and discovered this old nest inside the hole that they sprayed! This is why the beees keep coming back to my house. The owner is Rude and wants to keep charging me $295 every time they come out. If they would have covered all 12 holes the first time and got rid of the nest I would not have another bee problem over and over. That may be an extra charge which i would have been ok with, IF they would have told me what needed to be done to prevent future problems. $295 to come out and spray a $10 can of spray is a rip off. Each time they came out they screened 3 holes and I asked to screen all of them and had no problem paying for it and they told it was not necessary, yet the bees come back and then they cover three more holes. If they would have just covered all 12 holes like I asked I would not continue to have bees at my house. Stay clear of theis company as I said the owner is extremely RUDE and a total jerk. read more
