Another excellent lunch here! They are always so nice and accommodating here. I had to have the tuna melt, which was amazing. My friend got the oriental chicken salad, and my other girlfriend got the souvlaki platter. Everything was just delicious and we all enjoyed. Our waiter was amazing, and very efficient.

The food was great, large portions, service was quick and servers are very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere seems like a very popular spot. My boys had the pancake stack with sausage and they loved every bit of it. My daughter had the turkey BLT and it did not disappoint. I had the Ruben sandwich which was tasty with a tasty serving of coleslaw. The sausage egg and cheese was good also. I will definitely go back.

Cozy place with warm lighting and great service. They even brought a kids cup for my two-year-old without us asking, which I really appreciated. We had a mushroom and Swiss omelette with homemade fries, a side of bacon which came with 4 strips, a Belgian waffle, a brioche sandwich with scrambled egg and cheddar, and a Bloody Mary. Everything was good overall, though the brioche bun was a little dry for my taste. I'm not a big fan of home fries, but my friend enjoyed them. The Bloody Mary came with a piece of bacon and had lots of horseradish. Great meal and great service -- would definitely return.

I had heard good things about this restaurant so was looking forward to trying it. We stopped for dinner on a rainy evening. It was pretty busy so we thought it would be a good sign. Unfortunately the only guarantee was delayed service. Hubby's beer was expired by a decent amount of time and they didn't offer anything else lol... my burger was pretty good, hubby's dish was ok. Overall nothing impressive though.

Very cute place! It's like eating in a pretty barn. Food clean, not greasy, great place for breakfast. I had the huevo ranchero and I would highly recommend. I was even able to switch the meat to bacon. Waitress was very sweet and checked on us a lot. Will be returning for sure. Cute little beehive on the roof.

So happy I finally made a reservation here! Came here for brunch with a friend around noon. The place was packed but we were able to be seated right away. Before we ordered our entrees, the waitress asked if we wanted a cinnamon bun. Naturally we had to get one! Note: they are huge and one of them can probably feed 4. We both decided to order omelettes. I ordered the "Bacavado" and she ordered the California. The hashbrowns on the side were seasoned perfectly and a good addition to the meal. It also came with toast, and they do provide butter to add some yourself. Definitely a green flag for me!

Stopped in for breakfast on the weekend. It has upscale diner vibes. Large breakfast selection and lunch items. I got the special frittata and my sister got the lemon ricotta pancakes. Since they were both on the special menu we were anticipating they were solid choices. The frittata just wasn't what I was expecting. It was topped with artichokes, sundried tomatoes and Brie. I was expecting it to be mixed into the omelet instead of just sprinkled on top. There was no taste other than canned items. It didn't even look appetizing in the plate. Not my favorite. The pancakes were light, but not super fluffy. They had a hint of lemon taste but could have been a bit more. Bacon was tasty and crispy. They also offer some brunch beverages, mimosas and bloody Mary's etc. Overall, high points and low points, would give it another try if I was back in the area.

Beehive seems to be off the beaten path but glad I found it. The place is awesome. It looks like a breakfast spot but they serve lunch and dinner as well. The homemade coffee cake was served warm and best to eat right there because it gets stale quick. The eggs benedict were lovely. Corned beef hash looked delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Napkins get folded when you leave the table. Everything tastes delicious. Homemade desserts. Timeless, cozy decor. Yes, the streets of Nyack have a seedy crowd roaming the streets these days, but Hudson House still sits on the main drag among it all. There's street parking or a large parking lot across the street. Free after 7. Everything I've had here is delicious. We came recently with colleagues to celebrate a special event. My favorite cocktail is still the port Old Fashioned... possibly because I won't try others. Wines are good here too. The hamachi, tuna and gnudi appetizers were outstanding. So flavorful, fresh, balanced. All three were different and simply so good. At the table this evening, we tried short rib, steaks, Brussels sprouts, beet salad, lentil pea soup and my favorite, the Berkshire pork chop. OMG, that chop is unlike anything else... and they consistently execute it. Crisp, seasoned exterior, amazing juicy interior. Served on a medley of assorted beans, peppers and chorizo. It's hard to order anything else when it's this good. With 7 of us at the table, we ordered 8 desserts. They're that good here. I tried a special this evening, which was a blueberry pudding something with a crust and ice cream on it, and I don't know. It was yummy and creamy and blueberry yumminess. Everyone at the table raved about the sticky toffee pudding, which supposedly is a customer favorite here. Overall, awesome night. Everyone at the table said they'd come back and even our grumpiest co-worker gave it a thumbs up!

After doing a little research, I came across The Wheel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I made a reservation for Sunday brunch. Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first, and parking took a minute to figure out, but I eventually learned you can park for free at the Village next door, which made things much easier. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted and shown to the outdoor seating area. Walking through the restaurant, I was impressed by how beautiful the property is. It is incredibly spacious, sits right on the water, and even has an additional outdoor area next door where you can relax away from the restaurant. The views alone make this place worth visiting. Our server, Freddy, was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. Now onto the food. To start, we shared the Breakfast Pizza, topped with smoked bacon, crispy potatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, two eggs, and fresh cracked black pepper. It was a fun twist on brunch and had great flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp and Grits, made with cheddar grits, wild caught shrimp, a poached egg, and chimichurri. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich looked outstanding. Made with organic Murray's chicken, hot honey, coleslaw, and dill pickles, it came with fries and disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, featuring grilled hanger steak, two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri. The steak had excellent flavor, although I ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. It was my only real issue with the meal. We also tried a couple of cocktails. The Orange Crush was refreshing and perfect for brunch, while the bourbon, Aperol, peach, Earl Grey, and lemon cocktail was smooth, balanced, and equally enjoyable. Dessert was the perfect ending. The Take 5 Sundae with peanut butter crunch, pretzels, whipped cream, vanilla bean caramel, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge was absolutely delicious. We also had the Tres Leches, topped with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which was light, moist, and a great way to finish the meal. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious. Aside from the slightly confusing entrance, parking, and my overcooked steak, the entire experience was outstanding. The waterfront setting, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and quality food make this one of the best brunch spots in Stamford. I will definitely be back. Next time I already have my eye on the Banana Buttermilk Bread, Village Breakfast, Braised Short Rib Hash, Wheel House Burger, Margherita Pizza, Smoked Salmon Pizza, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich for myself. For drinks, I want to try the Charred Citrus, One in a Melon, and the Orange Crush. And I definitely need to save room for the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.

Favorite dish selections per voting of the table, were the brussel sprouts (~$20), calamari (~$20), and NY strip (~$50) specifically because of the tallow fried rice that laid underneath the steak! Although we enjoyed the quality and quantity of food, the service was quite slow. Our waitstaff didn't come by very often to take drink orders, refill water glasses, or follow up. It didn't seem too busy that evening, so we were a bit surprised. We stayed in the dining room on this trip, but hope to come back for a nice evening when the outside patio area is available.

The pics, reviews, and menu all seemed to point towards a yes - so off we went. Freddy's is located within the main commercial hub of Pleasantville. It's not a large restaurant, but holds a decent amount of seating with tasteful and laid-back decor. We were there right at opening at 4:30p, so it wasn't crowded but started filling up as time progressed. The menu is mostly American - arranged by apps, salads, entrees, sides, and desserts. I decided to start with the burrata which was served with diced butternut squash, brown butter, and grilled bread. This was...not what I was expecting. Burrata usually comes as an intact sphere that you cut open to reveal the soft cheese inside. This was already broken, and served in an almost deconstructed way. It honestly looks like a way to cut corners as it was definitely not a whole burrata. That, and the lack of flavor do not make it worth the $17 they charge. My main was better - I ordered the smoked chicken which was a breast on the bone and came with grits, spinach, and honey au jus. This was tasty - the chicken was juicy with crispy skin, and the au jus added a welcome sweetness to the grits and spinach. We opted for dessert because birthday - I chose the carrot cake which was just okay. No nuts, raisins, or noticeable carrots - so, a spice cake? As a side note, we were there during HV Restaurant week, however in lieu of a dedicated menu they offered a prix fixe app/entree/dessert off their menu. It sounded great at face value, but then we were told the portions would be smaller - and for items they couldn't shrink they up-charged if we ordered off the regular menu. IMO, not the best way to do restaurant week - either have a dedicated menu for it or don't participate at all. That being said, we decided to order off the regular menu. Service was good, everyone was friendly and food came out at a good pace. Overall, Freddy's sent me mixed signals - the food wasn't bad, but this isn't a place I would go out of way to try again - it's more of a local spot in my perspective. If circumstances found me here again, though, I wouldn't be mad.
