Another lovely dinner with the ENTIRE family. We came on Mother's Day for dinner and sat in a quiet off-shoot room. They had a special menu with loads of appetizers and of course, breads! I still love the fried calamari the best!! I had the giant shrimp oreganata over linguine. It was fine. The seafood ravioli (shrimp and crab) looked really good. After dinner there was an assortment of little Italian desserts. The plate was empty so everyone must've been happy. Again, super-Old Skool, great service.

Went here for a pre-Mothers Day brunch. Place is very old school, with the walls covered in pics of Sinatra, Marilyn, and various characters in Scorsese and Coppola films. My chicken francese was okay -- a bit too salty but passable. The restaurant was hosting two separate functions, with our table very close to one which featured a DJ, so every tine the doors opened we caught a blast of loud music. This happened repeatedly throughout our meal. I did see other seating areas and am unclear as to why we were placed so close to the loud function. That said, the men's room does feature a flatscreen just above the urinal (see pic) so I was able to watch the Yankees getting crushed as I did my business.

We had my son's baptism here 8 years ago and also had his first communion reception here this week! Service was great and food was delicious. You cannot listen to all the town rumors all the time. Support your local businesses! i am glad i did. The restaurant has been in town for many years. Edwin was great! Tommy will work with you on the menu.

This place my aunt picked to celebrate my other aunts birthday for a luncheon. Driving up the taconic parkway to get here was magical such beautiful fall foilage so i knew it was going to be a good day! I have been to Casa Rina numerous times each one for different family occassions for as long as i can remember. So coming here for something casual was nice. Plenty of options for family style. Fried calamari, eggplant were just some of my favorites. i loved the twin pork chops and the risotto the pumpkin pie martini was strong

I seriously wonder how this spot stays open. $7 slice which whatever is obviously ridiculous but ya hope maybe it'll be decent. Oh my goodness. Lord hear our prayers. For what did I do to have to be exposed to this disaster of a disaster? Disastrous. Again. I'm going to be briefer than a bucket full of piss. I believe that this sauce cooked on the stove top. I believe they don't have access to any utensils, and so to stir the sauce they used their feet. I actually think they stuck their foot into boiling sauce. Dirty and gunky feet. And then they leave it going all day until it's as funky as it could possibly be. Unredeemable - But this review will be deleted (I presume). And I hate doing this to local biz but at that price point this one deserves the lauding of hate.

I ordered the vodka grandma with pepperoni, hot honey, vodka sauce, and a dollop of ricotta -- and this was the star. It was so delicious. The flavors all worked perfectly together and it was easily the highlight of my order. I also tried the garlic knot sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella. The idea was really good, but the middle was unfortunately cold and the flavors together ended up being way too salty, which kind of threw it off. Overall, I'd still come back because the pizza was that good, but hoping for a little more consistency next time.

The atmosphere is elegant and refined. The service was fantastic and our server was extremely knowledgeable. The Iberico Secreto was one of the best meat dishes I've ever had. Full of rich iberco flavor, which had a complex, almost nutty kind of flavor. It's a must try! The Lobster ravioli was also delicious and great portion size. I didn't get many pictures of the Tapas as we ate them too quickly. Everything was great quality and fresh!

Really 4 1/2 stars. Almost a perfect 5 stars - see below…read more What a nice complete dining experience from start to finish Great friendly staff- we started with very easy to use valet parking. Vida is a beautiful restaurant with both downstairs and upstairs elegant indoor dining areas. No wonder Westchester Magazine gave Vida an award for dining room/bar decor. A top feature includes elegant sconce ceiling lights and a formal dining room table for 12 placed on an Indian tapestry rug in the upstairs dining room. The outdoor area is very well designed. The restaurant designer deserves major credit for taking a porch overlooking two major roads and cutting down poor view scapes and noise. Your eyes while standing and sitting at tables along the porch edge are drawn towards the curtains and well designed wooden features. Roadway noise is minimized and allows conversation. The food is unique- no standard Westchester lasagna or meatballs here. We had tasty crispy zucchini ( $22) flowers stuffed with fresh ricotta. The small plate had two flowers, three would have been better for the price. The next small plate was 3 sea scallops ($24) with a stacked diced tomato and cucumber salad. Very fresh with a nice sauce. Here again, 4 scallops would have been nice for the small plate price of $24. The third and 4th small plate with crispy 1/2 sized small potatoes ($18) with a spicy cumin or paprika based creama. Excellent hearty dish with the carbs needed for a full belly for two people. The 4th small plate ($28) was the winner - crispy rice stacked with fresh tuna steak and vegetables. A delicious memorable dish. Great spice use. The two mocktails were excellent along with a cold16 ounce pilsner and a large 6 oz + pour Chardonnay. If you are looking for a different place to go for a memorable diner- Vida is highly recommended. Yes. It's a bit pricey- but the dining experience is superb. Note- if it's important to you- bring cash, a $5 charge for credit card use.
