The Triple Berry Pie with ice cream
    Nick S.

On the road from Longview to Wauna, the eateries are few and far between. This diner style restaurant is truly unique, and while there aren't many other options, this one is actually a great choice. The menu has a variety of entrees, sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts to choose from. The exterior has great signage, and you can find a 24hr pie vending machine out front. The interior is cozy, with that typical diner feel. Half of the space is a shop where you can take home frozen meals, buy candles, jams, and a variety of other things Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. She walked us through some favorites, and explained a couple other dishes The Rueben looked less than impressive when it arrived, but I must say it was once of the best tasting Rueben's I've ever had. And the pies... are a must try. Some tips: Definitely order a slice of pie. There are roughly 10 flavors to choose from and you can add cream or ice cream (a-la-mode). Try one of the many Marion berry offerings. This is a local berry similar to the blackberry, and you can order pies, lemonades, shakes, and there's even a Marion berry mustard on the table to enjoy. Visit the shop and take home some frozen meals for later like pot pie. Cheers!!

I went there for breakfast and it was good. Nice service. Good food. I really liked the Marionberry mustard.

My daughter has a tradition to stop here on every trip to the Oregon Coast. I hit this stretch of the drive after they closed and her heart was breaking. They do close early. Thankfully they have a vending machine with fresh pies! Appreciate the amazing creativity as it's always time for pie! Recommend the mixed berry or some of the marionberry options. I haven't been inside but the vending machine is relatively easy to use and pies were around $7/slice.

Stopped by the famous berry patch restaurant. Walked into a nice restaurant with a great gift area selling all sorts of Marion Berry products. My husband had a traditional egg breakfast and I had a smaller plate. Eggs were delicious, bacon nice and thick and crispy the ham juicy the gravy delicious, the servers were friendly and the service was quick. we loved the breakfast and recommended

We stopped by for some pie and loved the Marionberry crème, lemon crème and especially the coconut crème. It didn't last long enough to take a picture. Delicious!!

A must-stop in Westport, The Berry Patch is a regionally-well known place that deserves every accolade for their delicious food and berry jams and pies. WOW totally worth the detour!! Service is fast, friendly, and very practiced - you can tell the folks who work here have been here for a while. :) I had the Turkey sandwich on sourdough with cranberry sauce and cream cheese. It was the perfect summer sandwich: cool and refreshing, light and crunchy from fresh lettuce and tangy with ripe tomatoes. I chose potato salad instead of fries or slaw - it was very good mustard potato salad. We enjoyed the local history and learning about the marionberry - a created blackberry hybrid that tastes delicious and was developed right here in Oregon. 5 Berrylicious stars!!

    Pie oh my!

We only stopped for pie, so I can't say much about the rest of the menu, but I can tell you the service was quick! If you like Coconut Cream, you *need* to stop and get a slice! It's done right from top to bottom. Cute little place with whole pies and other goods to purchase.

January sounded like a slower season for them, which showed since we were the only diners that evening. Honestly, it made the experience even more special. The waiter, who was also the bartender, was incredible. Unfortunately, we did not catch his name, but he was working on January 10th and did a fantastic job. He was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely great at what he does. On to the food. We started with the fresh baked bread and Brussels sprouts. I never thought Brussels sprouts could steal the show, but these were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I ordered the linguine, and my boyfriend had the filet with crab and hollandaise sauce. Both dishes were outstanding and truly next level. The vibe of the restaurant was perfect. Very chic and sophisticated, which felt ideal for celebrating an anniversary. We actually loved that it was quiet because it felt like all the attention was on us. We will definitely be back!

Goes well with the mashed potatoes but wish it has some sauce. Also should've ordered some side veggies. Quite a lot of meat without veggie Orange crème brûlée is a great idea, however, the orange flavor is quite artificial and overly sweet. Could've been an amazing dessert if used real orange zest/puree

I ordered a martini to start. It sure was cold, but so iced down that the gin was almost missing. None of the aromatic headiness I want from a martini. That gin spent way too much time in the ice shaker. I ordered a Ceaser Salad. While the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the dressing was almost a vinaigrette rather than a rich yolk emulsion. For the main course, I ordered the special salmon and a glass of wine. The sauce and sides, a couscous concoction with asparagus, was quite good, but the salmon was medium to well and had lost all of its moisture. It may have been a little on the small side as well, but I didn't really want much more of it anyway. All in all, pretty mediocre stuff for a meal that totaled $100.

We own a house in Long Beach, and during the time we lived there full-time, this was our go-to spot for anniversaries and my husband's birthdays. It exudes that cozy, historic Seaview charm that invites you to relax and linger...warm, intimate, and full of character without being over the top. A true small-town and now not so hidden gem. My husband is a fan of their Old Fashioneds, particularly those with a smoked maple twist, and he often gravitates back to the slow-braised pork. Their current Southern Comfort Pork dish is just his style: slow-braised pork shoulder served over brown sugar yam mash with jalapeño creamed corn, green onion, and maple-bacon salsa. That's comfort food crafted with real culinary skill. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I truly appreciate how The Depot makes an effort to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diners in a way that feels genuine rather than forced. Last winter, I was thrilled to discover the ginger-coconut soba noodles, they were flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. Their current mika soba noodles with garlic-ginger coconut cream, vegetables, toasted cashews, and cilantro are exactly the kind of dish I'm thankful to find on a Peninsula menu. I also have fond memories of Burger Wednesdays from our time on the Peninsula. It's incredible how satisfying a customized portobello burger can be when a kitchen understands texture and seasoning especially in a place where plant-based options can still be scarce. The food is fantastic, but the service deserves a special mention. While Peninsula restaurants are known for their good service, The Depot's service is exceptional: polished, friendly, warm, and just the right amount of attentive. Although we now reside in California, we plan to make another reservation when we return to the Long Beach Peninsula in July. I'm already looking forward to their summer menu. Note: I've forgotten to take photos so the ones on this review are from the restaurants social media - definitely a reflection of our last meal at The Depot without the drinks.

Lots of things... * Staff is REMARKABLY friendly and personable * They are equally attentive and professional * The patrons were awesome, seriously. I came here alone, and no fewer than three people, each in completely different parties, approached and engaged me in conversation. This seemed like a bunch of regulars who welcome newcomers as family. The menu is much larger than expected for a bar. I opted for the pulled pork sliders, and they were FAR better than expected. The rolls were the most surprising part, they were fantastic! I don't know if they're baked on-site, but they're definitely not typical "get the job done" fare, they were superb. "Slider" also seemed to be a bit misleading because they're so generously stuffed with pork and cole slaw that they're closer to a full-sized sandwich. Prices belie the quality and portion sizes (much lower prices than I'd expect). The only minor gripe is that there are not a lot of good seats for seeing bands perform. The bar area is narrow and long, which doesn't lend itself well to seeing performances, but I was still able to do so, and the friendliness of the staff and other patrons (again, AMAZING surprise) really seemed to make up for this.
