I'm on a blueberry pancake tour! lol delicious pancakes blueberries were in abundance. Turkey patties taste like sausage not freezer burnt patties I was pleasantly surprised. Waiter was tentive, it got busy quick so I'm glad I made an early appearance. I was not disappointed! Coffee stayed hot !

I love having breakfast at this restaurant. First of all, the service is great and the food is delicious. The price is also relatively reasonable. I especially recommend it for people who like Mexican food. I always order coffee, and of course refills are free. Suitable for couples, families and groups. Good for breakfast and brunch. There isn't much parking in front of the restaurant, but street parking is available nearby.

Was passing through the area on my way back home to West LA and had heard amazing things about this little diner so tried it for my first time this past weekend and can say I was honestly really impressed. Service was fantastic, our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast and for a very fair price. I loved how fresh all the ingredients were and the produce was especially delicious. I would call this a local country diner that was absolutely packed when we visited on Saturday morning. They don't have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor options. There's also a large free parking lot attached so finding a space was really easy. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic American and Mexican breakfast options. For this visit, I chose the Chilaquiles Verdes and thought it was really good. I added some of their homemade salsa with it, which was a great combo and I would highly recommend this dish. I also got a biscuit on the side, which was very fluffy and really hit the spot. It's really lively on the inside and had a really great atmosphere so I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or to anyone in the area.

The egg portions was literally 3 bites

Ordered to go, and when we saw what we got home, we were very disappointed. Got the pancakes and eggs and bacon meal, for $17. The pancakes were great, but I did not pay $17 for not even 1 egg's worth ... total BS if you ask me. I love dining in at this place, and everyone is so great serving but totally disappointed over this meal.

Come here for a solid, hearty breakfast/brunch. You won't be disappointed! We ordered a large variety of foods all with large portions. Highly recommend the menudo and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It's super unique and literally tastes like both a cinnamon roll and a french toast. All the food we ordered was solid. Its good but I wouldn't say it's mind blowing. It's what I needed and met my expectations. I saw some of the tables nearby me order lunch foods including a quesadilla and a huuuuge burger and I really wanna give that a try next time. The service was quite excellent. The server was so attentative. I drink a lot of water lol and she probably refilled my water like 5 times without me asking. Thank you!!! Very much appreciated lol

Chili Colorado omelet

If you're going to call your restaurant The Best Breakfast Cafe, you better back it up, and they sure do. Had the chili Colorado omelet, it was amazing.

Chile verde burrito. Sooo good.

OMG. Four words. Chile Verde Breakfast burrito. Ridonkulous. This thing was huge!! (See pic). I ordered a side of their house salsa just because I love it, but I will definitely order an extra side of the chile verde sauce next time only because I want to slather every bite in it. Very friendly service and that's that my order was To-go! I've had dine-in breakfast here and the vibe has always been high. Can't recommend highly enough.

Best pancakes with fresh bananas yum!!

Visited Oxnard for the weekend and stumbled up on this cozy family style dinner. To my pleasant surprise, they had the best chili Verde and pancakes. Service was immaculate. Our server made sure we were well taken care of. I think it was the owner that also made sure we were all good too. With service and food quality and ambiance, I give this place 5 stars. I recommend this diner to anyone looking for good food and great service.

We drove 30 miles in peak morning Hangry to try this place for the first time today. Well worth it!! First of all, you know it's good when you roll up and the lot is full. But we got quickly seated and then launched into the broad menu. Love the Cute family diner feel, all decked out for Xmas Eve Day! We all settled on breakfast. Chilaquiles for hubby, Chili Verde and Eggs for me, Breakfast burrito for sis 1, French Toast platter for sis 2. Hubby eyeballs chilaquiles every time. Here was his take: DELICIOUS, crispy, flavorful. He's full and satisfied. The Bloody Mary helped everything go down smoothly!! Sis 1: she ate the whole dang thing, except for last three bites given to sis 2 when they swapped plates for cross tasting. Two "good" comments on the burrito. Thanks for also providing Cholula. Sis 2: sausage link was nice and plump. Solid French toast plate. Now for Mama.... The Chili Verde was magical, everything I dreamed it would be, and I would order again! Nice warm spice without being too spicy. And Mama Mia, the corn tortillas tasted homemade and they were thick so they didn't crumble when I attempted the bites. We'll be back again--there's a lot on this menu that's calling out to us!!

She went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable, and her excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. Luckily, while charging our vehicle, we stumbled upon this wonderful little café and what a great find it was. If you're stopping to charge, I highly recommend making it an early morning stop so you can enjoy breakfast here. The pancakes were delicious fluffy, buttery, and everything you want in a good stack of pancakes. I was happy, full, and completely satisfied... but I still had my eye on my hubby's breakfast burrito. Thankfully, he was willing to share . I'm so glad he did because it was every bit as delicious as it looked and made the perfect meal for the last 45 minutes of our drive home. Great food, fast and friendly atmosphere, and a pleasant surprise during our trip. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back very soon!

Save yourself the headache and eat somewhere else. -- We were told our wait would be approximately 15 minutes. It ended up being closer to 30. Once seated, things got even worse. We sat for roughly 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging our table and had to flag down two separate employees before we were assigned a server. Despite arriving over an hour before I needed to leave for a scheduled appointment, our food didn't arrive until approximately 11:35 AM. Spending over an hour at breakfast for a simple meal is unreasonable, especially at a resort restaurant where guests often have reservations and activities planned. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the wait. The chicken sausage arrived room temperature, and my pancakes were raw in the middle. Not undercooked--raw. After waiting over an hour for breakfast, receiving food that wasn't properly prepared was incredibly disappointing. As if that weren't enough, the restaurant somehow managed to charge our credit card twice while also posting the charge to our room. Resolving the error became an ordeal of phone calls, receipt photos, waiting for managers, and multiple follow-ups. What should have been a simple correction ended up taking a significant amount of our vacation time. The most frustrating part wasn't even the mistakes themselves--it was the lack of urgency in fixing them. Nobody seemed particularly concerned that guests were waiting excessive amounts of time, receiving improperly prepared food, or dealing with billing errors.

I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but we always love to sit outside so that we have a really good view of the aircraft coming and going. I tried the BLT and, oh my!!! One of the best I've had, with lots of thick cut bacon, very crisp, lots of lettuce, tomato and mayo (I ordered it as-is). Half was the size of a regular sandwich so the other half went home with me! RRR ordered the triple decker club on sourdough and loved his as well. Half of his went home also. We both got the cole slaw as our side which has a little pineapple in it. I found it ok, RRR really liked it. We shared a special milkshake, pistachio, and it was heavenly, highly recommended. Service was perfect, there when needed but not overbearing. So this time I ordered a sandwich and I was not disappointed as this one was a decent size. It was really tasty, but I wish they also added a pickle on the side of the sandwiches too. Their salads are also really good along with the bread that comes with it. The ambiance was nice and the planes are not very loud, but there is a lot of people. Overall, this is a nice place for lunch or special events like birthdays for a decent price.

The process was super easy and made the wait feel seamless. We were seated on the "outdoor" patio, which was absolutely delightful. It's covered, so it feels like you're inside, but it's still open-air and pup friendly, which we loved. They even have a pup menu and bring out little metal water bowls. Our doggo was living his best life. The menu is large with tons of options. We initially tried using the QR code (which is great because it includes photos), but ultimately asked for a paper menu, sometimes it's just easier to flip through. My husband ordered The California (eggs, bacon, and pancakes). This breakfast also comes with toast and your choice of potatoes. We upgraded to the chili cheese tots, thinking it was just a small upcharge from the standard side, and didn't realize until we got back to the hotel that we were charged $8 for them, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the tots were tasty (just eat them quickly because they cool off fast!). His eggs were cooked perfectly, but the $3.50 upcharge to add blueberries to the pancakes felt steep, and the bacon was mostly fat and a bit overcooked. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros with poached eggs, and the eggs were absolutely perfect. The dish was bursting with flavor. My only critique was that the beans were a bit too liquid-heavy, which made the tortilla very soggy, I couldn't finish as much as I would've liked because of that. The Bloody Marys, though? So good. Highly recommend! We both loved them. Our server was pleasant and friendly. Oh and there was a Char Man hot sauce on the table that was EPIC! Overall, we would definitely come back, we'd just try a few different menu items next time... except for the Bloody Marys. Those are a repeat order for sure.

And let me tell you, when you're heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren't entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: "Excellent. We shall not perish on the island." The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. By the time lunch was over, I was happy, full, and fully prepared for the next round of kayaking and hiking. Which is really the highest compliment an adventure lunch can get.
