Mussels and fries are a standard for Belgian food and this place does them in spades with amazing flavor and quality. They have an amazing beer selection and I was beyond excited to see Cuvee Des trolls on their menu which is the city beer of Mons Belgium. Not mad at the prices or portions there, especially given that it's largely imported. Is this personally a place I would make a go to? No. Only if I am taking out a friend who is super into beer tasting. But if I were super into French and Belgian beer and or really liked that kind of food (eg mussels and very meaty Northern European dishes) ? Maybe. The bar is full of seating too, so you have to stand behind people who are already sat and drinking to try to flag them down which feels awkward. We tried two standout drinks that I can't recommend enough: the Attractive Nuisance and El Tiburon, (which is an Old Fashioned made with gin). The bartenders here clearly know what they're doing, each drink was crafted with care and precision. The good music in the background added to the overall ambiance, making it a delightful spot to spend an evening.
