Back Patio

My friend and I were doing a mini food crawl through downtown Encinitas and decided to stop by here for a quick snack and drink. I guess you could call it a bit of a girl dinner (or snack) - aperol spritz + onion rings. The vibes were great, especially the back patio area. The service was also pretty solid and we didn't feel like anyone was rushing us out, despite just ordering nibbles. Great spot overall!

The food here is SO GOOD, my boyfriend and I went twice during our 3 day trip. Que diablos ha pasado short rib nachos are amazing! The service is great and the restaurant interior itself is quite nice. The weather was perfect!

8 wings = $23 ouch. Honestly a not a bad spot, but also it's not a great spot. The name is pretty misleading as the only German item on the menu are the pretzels. No German beer neither. It's located on the main strip of Encinitas so it's always popular.

Fabulous place to hang out for Sunday and grab a cold beer! Their beer glasses are chilled and the vibe is relaxed. If you sit on the patio it is a little calmer if you go inside next to the bar it is lively! It must see when you come to Encinitas!

Was craving some fries so we went here after looking at the menu! Pretty popular spot for lunch/ brunch. The restrooms were clean and the fries were really good! Service was excellent! The price of the food was a bit tad high but other than that it was great! The truffle fries were lacking in truffle flavor it tasted mostly like regular fries and salt.

THE CUBANO, this was Amazing. TRY IT NOW!

I've been at this place quite a few times, decided I would go ahead and leave a review this time. I love the menu, there is a lot of stuff on this menu and all of it is very very good. Every time I've been there the service has been great and that's what keeps me coming back. Overall, this place is definitely worth giving a try and I would most certainly recommend this place to others.

Love eating here! It's such a fun vibe! You're right in the heart of downtown Encinitas. My husband and I like eating outside when the weather is nice! We have been here many times and have never had bad service! My favorite thing to order is the short rib nachos!

Hearty Bloody Mary. Pretty much a roadside attraction with all the grub. It's more fun than tasty.

The name of the restaurant is kind of German but the food is about as German as the taco shop across the street. Really, the place is about as 'Murican as you can get. It's basically glorified pub grub. It's also family friendly and dog friendly. The loaded poato bites appetizer is very generous and was very good. It's basically potato wedges with cheese, sour cream, and bacon. What's not to like? The Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich was ridiculous. I can unhinge my snake jaws with the best of them but not for this thing. It contains a ton of fried chicken stacked to the sky, with pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato between buns. Unfortunately, the chicken was fried far too long, was very dry, and the batter was not good. The oil may have been old and it was definitely over-fried. That chicken died in vain. On the other hand, the Cardiff Crack Steak Sandwich was excellent. The meat was tender and the bread was very nice (the menu called it a hoagie but it was unlike any hoagie I have ever seen). Whatever. It's a very good sandwich. The entrees come with a ton of very nicely-seasoned thick fries. Just for fun, I tried the Hearty Bloody Mary which comes with a ton of "fixins" (bacon, celery, cheese, pepperoncini, pickled onion, and a mini Slim Jim. It also comes with a beer chaser. The drink itself was fine. Our server was outstanding. He was friendly, refilled our water constantly, and gave good recommendations. The food portions were generous but the cooking was uneven. Overall, it's a safe choice unless you're looking for a real German beer garden. Prost!

The Fig Burger (split)

My sister and I randomly stopped at this place to eat as we were walking back to where we parked the car. The smell of the food is what drew us in. We shared the Fig Burger. It sounded interesting. It had two of my favorite things I like on hamburgers; arugula and herbed goat cheese. You know, the hamburger was really delicious. Perfectly cooked too. My sister and I shared the hamburger and I got the fries and my sister got the onion rings. The fries were delicious and I loved the ranch. It wasn't tangy. The onion rings were declicious as well. They are perfectly crisp.

The Bier Garden in Encinitas is a lively, fun spot just steps from the beach. The drink selection is impressive, and the atmosphere is energetic and social, making it perfect for hanging out with friends. It can get crowded, especially on weekends, but that only adds to the festive vibe. The staff is friendly and keeps things running smoothly, even when the place is busy. Definitely a great spot to enjoy good drinks, good company, and a true beach-town experience.

Attentive service with excellent recommendations for classic Bloody Mary, Cardiff crack Sando, and prickly pear margarita spicy! On the 101 so easy to walk around before and after dining.

Might want to your employees not to dump drinks onto the street when they are bussing tables. Not a good look

They definitely have a huge selection. I like using the discounts in the app as well since sometimes they aren't the cheapest. The staff is usually helpful and I enjoy happening upon the tastings they have. I have tasted quite a few things that I then purchased. I have also taken several classes at this location. I always take away new knowledge which I appreciate. The last class I took was my favorite so far. I liked most of the wines I tried whereas others not so much. I even bought a bottle of the one I liked most. The charcuterie they include is an added bonus. The sommelier teacher (Bill) is knowledgeable and answers questions happily and throughly. They offer a variety of class topics and it's very reasonably priced for a wine class.

The two guys that (I'm assuming) run the store are genuinely nice and do exactly what they're supposed to! If anyone has ever worked in customer service - you would know how absolutely exhausting it is to work with people ALL DAY. God forbid a liquor store at that... Cut them some slack, seriously. As for the actual products, I can't say much about the alcohol but the selection of snacks is honestly great! Lots of non-alcoholic drinks + a small selection of essentials (like batteries for example). I always come here for snacks and drinks. Easy in and out, no hassle, everything is set up very clearly organized as well. *As for the "labubu review", this is LIQUOR STORE. Of course it's going to be fake.
