The biscuits are delicious. But the dishes are hit and miss. One Sunday I got one of their scrambowls without meat. The eggs were really dry (overcooked). The next time (3 weeks later) I got the Laredo. I doubt there were 3 eggs as they claim their scrambowls have but there must've been 2 potatoes cut up in there. Too much potato. But I was going for the protein so I didn't have enough eggs. At least this time the eggs weren't so dry. The service was excellent the first time and quite slow the second, even with less customers. We tried to cut them some slack due to the possibility of being short staffed but every time they opened the kitchen there were about 10 bodies hanging around. The. Our food was barely warm when we finally got it. We will continue to go because of those yummy biscuits. But we will be prepared to get slow service and warm-ish food. read more

The food was OK. Nothing spectacular, but the ambiance was nice and customer service was great. I had the waffle platter and the waffle was mediocre. The bacon tasted like the way dog food smells. The French vanilla cappuccino was good, definitely recommend getting whipped cream with it so it'll have more sweetness and less watered down. The breakfast potatoes were good. Found this restaurant on Yelp this morning, decided to have my husband take me their. I usually go to the meat market across the street but had never noticed this establishment. Before we left our house I noticed that I could join a waiting list so hopefully if it was busy we'd have a shorter wait. Thank gosh I did!! This is on a Sunday at around 9 am, and it was packed!! We let the hostess know and we got immediate seating!! Our server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the yard bird and he had biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. The food was delicious. My chicken was so tender and flavorful. We will definitely go back and I'd love to try more of their signature dishes! read more

Everything was absolutely excellent! This was my second time coming in. I've had the same server both times, I believe her name was Emily. She is super sweet and has a great attitude. The food was amazing, enormous portions. It does get super busy around 11:00ish but the staff definitely know their way around and are able to keep up with the rush and still have a great attitude. We came in and the hospitality was outstanding from the manager Kyle who seated us. Our server was Becca whose hospitality was outstanding as well as her knowledge of food and recommendation. The food is always hot, delicious and with very generous portions. Located on the NW corner of Danforth and Kelly, it has easy access arriving or leaving. The service is phenomenal every time I've been there! The staff is friendly, professional and really good at what they do!
