I really enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. Friendly and fast service. They even warm the syrup for waffles without being asked yo do it.

So after having medical procedure done, that involved fasting the day before, I was wanting a nice breakfast. This did not happen at big biscuit. My order was not only incorrect it was cold! After noticing he gave me the wrong order the waiter apologized.Im sure I could of made a fuss but was too worn out from my morning hospital visit. I was shocked to see how much our bill was for two people, and am a little frustrated that they didn't even comp our coffee for mistakes. I gave only 3 stars, that in part due the lips balm incident also because their gravy on my husband's meal was rather bland. We drive past The Big Biscuit pretty much daily since moving to Shawnee 2 years ago. It has good signage. We always said we were going to try it, as we love biscuits and gravy. I make it at home a lot. I finally did stop by with my kids late one Saturday morning. The place was bustling. Right away, I felt a disconnect though as I took in a very dingy interior. Still, folks were eating big platters of food in large numbers. We were still excited to eat. We got biscuits and gravy, pancakes, hash browns, eggs. The pancakes were good. Eggs and hash browns good. The biscuits and gravy disappointed. Mostly the gravy. It was a bit watery. Lacked depth. Now we drive by and call it The Big Disappointment. Oh well! read more

We enjoyed everything about this place. It was super busy on a friday morning but we didnt have more than a 10 minute wait. They had a huge booth that set our family of 6 comfortably. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We have an inpatient baby and they brought her fruit out first thing. I ordered the Alamo burrito and it was incredible. Breakfast at 11:30am on a Saturday-September 2019. Husband had The Mayberry and I had The Laredo scram-bowl with a Cinnamon Roll Pancake subbed in for the normal biscuit. Placed an online order. Drive the 15 minutes to the restaurant. Got home and my yard bird had no gravy on it. There was also none on the side. The yard bird is an item covered in gravy. I tried to call the store no one answered. drove all the way back with my receipt and had to wait 8 minutes for them to pour some gravy in a little containers this place is a mess. One order was missed. When it came out it was pieces scrambled eggs literally scrambled. By this time my family was almost done. And I had lost my appetite. Truly one of the best breakfasts in my 44 years. May I recommend the "Titanic" omelet that lives up to it's name. It contains just about every breakfast food one can think of, 4 eggs filled with cheese, ham, sausage, hash browns, and of course bacon.
