I visited The Bindery for breakfast. We arrived around 9:15 AM and we're one of only about 4 tables filled in the restaurant (it filled up a bit more over the course of pur meal). Most of my friends ordered juice- the grapefruit juice was delicious. The coffee was meh. We ordered our meals and then waited what seemed like an extremely long time, considering the limited clientele in the restaurant and the fact that it's breakfast food, i.e. eggs. The portions were huge. I had an omelet and it must have been 6 eggs. The food was solid - well presented and tasted good. The stand out for me was the jam served with my toast. So yummy. The restaurant was clean and bright, the interiors indicate "upscale," the service was okay, the kitchen was slow.

I'm in here almost every Saturday and am always warmly greeted. The staff really cares and makes sure everything is perfect.

Lucy took our lunch order at our table. We ordered the Cobb Salad and the ALBACORE Tuna Melt w/ side of fries. The ingredients are all so Fresh and Delicious. Andrei was also very attentive and made our meal even more enjoyable. Lucy's personal service, Andrei's extra attention and the delicious food and comfortable surroundings make this a GREAT PLACE to come and eat.

While visiting Denver, I had a friend that wanted to share an exceptional meal. I began pouring over menus, looking at reservations, and reading reviews. After all of that, I found The Bindery. I saw they were offering a Wednesday special of a salad, two pasta dishes, and a bottle of wine for $58. Although that certainly would have been plenty of food, we opted for a celebratory cocktail, and a couple more dishes because they sounded too incredible to pass up. The Manhattan is such a simple cocktail, but I greatly appreciate when restaurants use quality ingredients and can do it justice. My mom greatly enjoyed her, "let's be cereal" espresso, martini with cinnamon toast crunch inspiration. The dish that we had to order no matter what just to try was the smoked rabbit pecan pie with aged cheddar and mustard gelato. It was more of a pot pie than a traditional pie, but the unique flavors of the savory smoked rabbit and the flaky crust were divine. The green tomato and plum salad was bright and refreshing - especially paired with the wine. You could tell they make this pasta fresh daily by hand, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, this 12 oz. grilled Wagyu ribeye was the dish I would want again. The steak was melt in your mouth, the sauce was unique, and I loved that it was paired with a spiced pineapple wedge. That was a refreshing bite after the crispy fried Vidalia onion rings with the perfect texture. I'm a sucker for an open kitchen and this restaurant leaves nothing to the imagination. You could sit at the bar and watch every step of their process. Their staff was extraordinarily attentive and helpful. Luke and Danny, our servers were amazing and the restaurant owner checked in on nearly every table in the restaurant throughout service. The LoHi area in Denver is quickly becoming one of my favorites with so many exceptional restaurants. This is definitely one to add to that list.

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here based on her recommendation as she's been here before. The place was beautifully decorated with plenty of seating and a full bar. There was also outdoor seating and street parking. We shared a plate of oysters for our appetizer. I ordered the risotto with bone marrow and my daughter had the half chicken meal. Both were very flavorful and mouth watering. The waiter presented us a slice of cheese cake with berries for dessert. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed this restaurant and it lived up to being a "intimate atmosphere and exquisite taste."

I advised the restaurant on my reservation that my friend was in a wheelchair. Not only was this information ignored, but this building is almost completely inaccessible to the handicapped. The front door is surrounded by a large curb which blocks access. There's a rear door, but this is locked and blocked by furniture. There is a front patio at sidewalk level which gives access to the front door, but it is mostly blocked by large planters. The only way we could get in was to maneuver past a gap in the planters which was blocked by two tables and a large, free-standing umbrella. This is truly outrageous. I really should have rated this place at one star; however, we did enjoy the food once we fought our way inside. The restaurant was very quiet at 6:00 p.m. on a Wednesday with less than 20% of the tables occupied. Maybe the other potential guests were not as determined as we were to find a way inside. Only one server was on duty, but he was gracious, efficient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We decided to share two dishes, starting with the Burrata with heirloom tomatoes, spiced peaches, cucumber, crispy quinoa, sesame, and vanilla oil. This was beautifully presented and all of the components went well together. Hearty, toasted bread was provided, so the burrata was spread on that and we worked our way through the accompaniments. The only sour note was the complete lack of seasoning. Even just a bit of salt would have gone a long way to bring out the flavors of this dish. We finished with the Olathe Corn Risotto which was garnished with parmesan, tomatoes, and pancetta. This was a delicious dish. All of the components melded perfectly with each other. We enjoyed it a lot. The wine list is well-selected. I chose a Spanish red blend, the 2023 Vinicola del Priorat. It went well with our food selections. The room is elegant with a high ceiling, open kitchen, long bar, and large bakery. The many windows offer a beautiful view of the Platte Valley and downtown Denver. I just can't get past the handicapped access disaster, though.

My new favorite breakfast spot in Denver. Only complaint is that the menu has too many enticing options. Table for 6 for brunch on Sunday. I had the Creole shrimp and grits, with pork belly and jerk spices. Plenty of shrimp, tons of flavor. A different take on this classic but it definitely impresses. One order of THE JERSEY GIRL Porchetta. House made porchetta, jack cheese, fried duck egg. Good stuff. CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST + STRAWBERRIES. Excellent I'm told but could use more strawberries. CHILAQUILES DIVORCIADOS. Didn't get to taste this one but it looked amazing and was extremely hearty. See pic. HONEY + MINT BRÛLÉED PINK GRAPEFRUIT. This was a little work of art. Oh so creative. The drinks were delicious as well. Upscale feel to the restaurant. We were meeting with old friends and it was perfect place to catch up. Background noise was low and we weren't pressured to finish. Server Daniel was friendly and professional. He added to our positive experience at The Bindery.

The first time I visited The Bindery was a few years ago at an event. The food bites at the event were delightful so I was excited to try it again with friends recently. On that outing I got the tuna niçoise salad. It was really good with fresh salmon. The potatoes in were seasoned well. Subsequent visits included my birthday where I got the oysters as an appetizer, the chicken as my main, and Basque cheesecake for dessert. On that trip my mom got the bone marrow risotto. The flavors were great! My recent visit was at lunch where I ordered the Peach wood smoked ham and white cheddar sandwich (caramelized onion, cheddar, frisée, honey mustard, sourdough). The sandwich was warm and comforting on a cold day. The fries were some of the best I've had. I like how easy this restaurant is to get to, with street parking available whenever I've gone.

We really enjoyed our early lunch meeting at The Bindery. There is off street parking which is handy in the highlands, however it is confusing how to enter the building from the garage, I just walked out through the garage entrance. I had outstanding service from a tattooed hipster who was very understanding when my dining companion was late. The food was excellent. My companion chose this location because it is airy and bright and it did not disappoint. Extremely fresh and comfortable for a lengthy meeting. Also not crowded at all on a weekday morning at 10 am!

Restaurant Week (RW) and the Bindery was a perfect find. First parking readily available in the complex next door. As we arrived were given a very friendly and welcoming greeting and seated promptly with an explanation of the options for the evening meal. We chose the special (RW) menu. The pork belly tender, tasty and savory with beans and a beautiful sauce. The diver scallop with pimento peppers and raspberries was refreshing and delicious. Main course of perfectly pan seared branzino with a roasted smashed Yukon gold potato amazing to look at and even better to eat. Savory brown butter bucatini with artichokes perfectly cooked. What was memorable -- the runner who delivered our courses opined on which ones were his personal favorites. That, along with very attentive service by the whole team made the meal memorable and special. The torte dessert was dry, yet still acceptable once the ice cream melted a bit. Very nice wine selection by the glass or bottle. Clean impressive interior. I'd go back here again.

Came for a business lunch. I'm starting with parking as this is LoHi and the Bindery has reserved spots in the parking garage of the building. If you park on the street you'll need to pay. The service was good. The Bindery features an open kitchen and bar with all kinds of libations. I went for the salmon Niçoise salad and it was cooked skin on. It's definitely a nicer piece of fish than you get at other restaurants. The salad has potatoes, green beans, tomato, hard boiled egg, onion, capers, olives, greens and basil. The dressing was a vinaigrette and not overpowering. I'll definitely come back for drinks and dinner at another time.

New restaurant in the renovated section of terminal A, just past gate A26. Modern and clean, with great views of the apron. Food selection is decent and quality is surprisingly good for an airport. I tried the Hangar Steak today and was pleasantly surprised by the complex flavors of the meat and the sides. The fire roasted greens were amazing. Service is ok, could be faster for airport setting but wasn't too bad either. Prices are ok for the location, most Main dishes running $20-30, steaks higher. I will come here again on my next layover.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

The smoked burrata was delicious, especially with all the toppings it came with. The sea bass completely surprised me, in the best way. And from that point on, from first taste, I knew my experience would be exceptional. The service was attentive without being overly attentive, and the chef's were so kind, answering every one of my weird questions about what they were preparing or ingredients that I noticed. I ordered the smoked burrata to start. The balance between the candied pistachio, artichoke pesto, and wagyu cecina really created a well balanced and unexpected dish. The burrata was creamy and the salty and sweet components balanced the aged sherry gastrique and made for an incredible intro to a beautiful performance by the chefs. Next was another small dish, which I wish I remembered the description for (I need to bring a little notebook with me), but it was a perfect segue into the next course, the ibérico presa. Wow. Just wow. White asparagus has got to be one of my favorite vegetables next to artichokes, when done exceptionally well, as they most definitely were. The piquillo peppers and pickled shallots complemented the pork, which was so soft, perfectly. I definitely died and went to heaven at this point in the meal. This is probably when I should've stopped eating because after this point, still pure delight, but my poor stomach was soooooo full. Next was another small bite to lead into my next course, also incredible. Wish I could describe it. My next course was the European sea bass. Now, sea bass is my favorite fish of all time. The perfectly crisp skin, the red onion jam, the spicy sweet balance was perfection. I loved every bite. The olive oil potatoes were a perfect complement. And at this point, I was bursting at the seems... but I still ordered dessert, because you only live once and food is one of the great joys of life. For dessert, I had the crema. The honeycomb on top, the cherries, all leading to a perfect finish. A time was had. Thanks El Five

Loved the perfectly chewy ropes of bucatini tangled with crumbled blue cheese, Castelvetrano olives -- and vodka sauce? This should've been a weird disaster, but wound up being our table's favorite dish. Every dish is a commitment to the genuinely unexpected. There was something delightfully more than just salt, pepper and fry behind the eggroll-sized mozarella sticks. Then there was the fig gelato, flanked by warm pear -- and oh my gosh, the apple tart! We had to go back and reread the menu to realize that the caramel really was spicy! This kitchen really finds the funky note in a dish and leans into it. Come ready to share. Every item comes in a "single" and a "mingle" size, which was great for our table of four. We would order 1-2 mingle-sized items, pass them around, and argue about who gets the last forkful. The rough edge is perhaps the service, but this spot is new and finding its rhythm. We found the handoff between counter and floor to be clunky, since it felt like pressure to order in order to be seated, not to order drinks and wait for a table. Maybe this works in a larger space. Maybe they just need to smooth out the flow. Either way, the people are sweet, and the food delicious.

Coming into it, I know Boombots has an eclectic restaurant with a fusion pasta menu, and I was fully on board with trying some weird, funky pasta. The restaurant was nicely laid out and decorated, and the vibes are great. The drinks are delicious and they have one of my favorite non-alcoholic cocktails (What the Hellyante). However, the mains come and the wheels fell apart. We got the congee risotto, the bucatini primavera, and the gyros cavatelli. Let's start with the positive. The bucatini primavera was tasty. The pasta was well cooked and everything ate very well together, albeit a little dry. Overall, a good dish. The congee risotto was also not bad. It was definitely one of the dish I was looking forward as someone who followed their Instagram, but the execution was off. The rice was well cooked but it ate just a tad bland. The 63 degree egg was just a tad over and unfortunately, the told was on the cold side. That said, it was tasty nonetheless. My least favorite part was the amount of toasted seeds on top. There was simply too much and it knocked the balance of the dish towards overly crunchy, which is not necessarily what you expect in a risotto or a congee dish. Finally, the gyros cavatelli was just not it. In my opinion, the dish just didn't work for me. It's a dish with za'atar pasta, gyros, cherry tomatoes, pickled red onions, crispy chickpeas, dill, nad tzakiki. The warm tzakiki sauce along with the picked red onions and cherry tomatoes ensure the dish eats on the sour side. For me as well, the warm tzakiki was off putting in smell and taste. The pasta was also undercooked and grainy. It wasn't al dente, just undercooked. And with everything, the gyros is kind of lost. Overall, just a really odd dish in terms of conception and execution, and one that I didn't enjoy. Overall, I will be generous and give 3/5. I think service was pretty good, the drinks were delicious, and the price was acceptable. Other dishes, such as the lumache and the salads, looks pretty good as well. But based on what I got today, I cannot recommend the dishes we got at Boombots.

Kind of wish the tuna was maybe seared or was something different, but I did like the dish. The short ribs were so tender and delicious. The tortillas were fresh and wonderful as well. The tres leches dessert was also really tasty and had the perfect ratio of cake to milk without it all falling apart from being too wet. In terms of drinks, the corn sour and beet spritz were absolutely amazing. The Negroni was good as well but I think I prefer a classic Italian one. Service was good although sometimes I felt like our server was watching us too closely and I felt weird. Dreamy Chef Owen took care of us at the Chef's Table, encouraging us to start with a Clover Club (her) and a Colada (him), both of which made our first dish, the Tostada de Tora, taste smoove like velvet. From there it was a cacophony of flava', from Mollete de Mejillones to Carne Apache, and from Flautas de Pollo to Barriga de Cerdo. Because Kelly and I are Monarch alumni, we also paired a Carajillo with our dessert of Tres Leches, just like Brother Aquinas taught us. Excellent from start to finish, I live by the rule that if you're gonna do one, you might as well do the other, as is the case with both Alma Fonda Fina and Mezcaleria Alma, two pillars of the Denver dining scene.

I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.

The store staff practices social distancing and makes sure all customers use fh sanitizer provided at the entrance. Awesome! Never ever shop and touch anything with unsanitized hands. The store is immaculate and organized! I got two bottles as a gift to Hubby's niece.
