During a short trip to Dallas, we stopped by here for breakfast one morning. This place is nonstop! The staff are all really friendly and helpful in addition to nonstop working. I'm not sure if it was busy for us because it was before a cowboy's game or if they're always that popping but the line was out the door and it was hard to get a seat. Still worth going! Visited The Biscuit Bar on Easter Sunday around 11AM. We were worried it was going to be packed or closed. Thankfully, it was open. It was busy but we were still able to find seating. The restaurant is located in west the same shopping center as Tiff's Treats. There's ample parking. The restaurant is pretty big with lots of seating and clean. You stand in line to place your order then find a chair. The staff was efficient and friendly and the line moved quickly. I had the Chicken & Not a Waffle and he had the Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. We shared the special Strawberry Biscuit French Toast and tots. The Chicken & Not a Waffle was delicious. I was scared the biscuit would be dry but it was buttery and flakey. The Strawberry French Toast was warm and sweet. I probably wouldn't order it again because it was too sweet for my preference but I know my daughters would have loved it. Overall, great experience. I was under the impression that the reason online ordering is an option is to avoid waiting upon arrival. I ordered my food at 8:24a.m. with an 8:45a.m. Received the email confirmation that the order would be available at the designated time of arrival. I walked up to the counter to retrieve my online order. The young man asked if I was there for a pick-up order. I gave him my name, he couldn't find my order. He asked for my name a second time, and I provided it. All for him to tell me my order just came through. We live in the age of technology where anything completed online is instantaneous. So, you're trying to tell me it took twenty minutes for my order to reach your business. Bruhhhh, do I look stupid?!? He apologized, then said my order would be done soon. I took a seat to begin this review all for my order to be brought out within four minutes of me sitting down. I'm a chef.... Also, I was pleased to see the manager was very hands-on and made sure everyone was having an enjoyable stay, while they dined/ picked up their orders. Based on the recommendation that was given to me by the candy shop next to them, I decided to order The Hoss. I really wanted this place to be a hit and from others, I heard it was very good. The Hoss was a fail for me, you could tell the chicken was frozen prior to being cooked. It was like rubber and I ended up throwing it away and just eating the biscuits. Now, those were very delicious, I just wish I was able to enjoy all of what I paid for. I will visit them again, but I'll be sure to stay away from their chicken sandwiches. read more

Bacon was thinner than thin. Green onions were barely even there with only a few flakes. The Hot Hot Chicken Sandwich was good. The chicken was a decent thickness. Not dry, but wouldn't exactly say it was juicy either. Among fast food chicken sandwiches, I'd say it's up there. I don't know what it is with chicken sandwiches and pickles, but it's a good combo and holds true here. The biscuit itself was good. I always like it when it doesn't dry out my mouth. I killed that sandwich pretty quick. Almost a shame how fast it was gone. Kind of small for the price, but it hit the spot. (Probably I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich) Overall, the workers were friendly and it was a clean, modern, well lit, and a great place. The Fully Loaded Tots weren't bad. My brother and I decided to come try the biscuit bar again after a bad experience with the restaurant we had about 30 minutes prior. We tried the biscuit bar in 2019 and the experience left something to be desired so we tried it again. When we walked in, we were greeted by the cashier who was patient with us while we decided where we want it my brother ordered the chicken, "not a waffle" biscuit & a watermelon rancher, alcoholic beverage to drink, which was very good and I ordered the classic chicken biscuit. The food came out fast and fresh & we were both pleased with how much better the restaurant was the second time we tried. The chicken was nice and juicy and seasoned well, and the biscuit was soft and fluffy. We definitely plan on returning again to try one of their many varieties of biscuits combos. read more

The BEC has 2 thin strips of microwaved bacon, an over easy egg, and a house made cheese sauce that was the best part. The biscuit to filling ratio was way off for me and there was too much dry biscuit vs. the inside. Been to several biscuit places, and while not really thrilled with most of them, this one stands out, and I see the same reason mentioned in other reviews. The biscuits here are bigger, the size of the biscuit, and the amount of whatever "filling" you get is more than the other places. I've been here several times, trying a few different ones. I've tried the hot hot chicken biscuit, which isn't really hot, at all. It was okay, but I didn't really get that much flavor off of it. Still, it was a pretty big hunk of chicken, and it was still good. Another time I got the Steak and Egg biscuit. Shaved ribeye, medium egg, and cheese. It was much more to my liking, and it was also a pretty good sized biscuit sandwich. While the biscuit sandwiches are probably the best ones around town, the tots are pretty much the real star of the show, for me anyway. I've tried the tots, but I always do an add on. I've done Fully Loaded, with bacon, cheese, sour cream and green onion, and the Southern style which has gravy, cheese, and green onion. While both are good, I much prefer the Southern style. My only complaint is sometimes they need a little more gravy, or cheese, or whatever. But regardless, they are pretty damn good when you do an add on. Anyway, still not the biggest biscuit sandwich fan around, but this place is at least doing it right. The biscuits are big and a meal in themselves. My husband is a huge fan of biscuits, being from North Carolina. So, when he read about a place called The Biscuit Bar, his eyes got about as big as biscuits and insisted we had to go that weekend for brunch. We didn't totally know what to expect, but had read the menu online and pretty well picked out what we were interested in. When we walked in, there was a long line to order, but it went pretty quickly. I got the Buffalo Bleu Chicken and he got The HOSS and we ordered a side of fully loaded tots to share. We also snagged a couple of Shandys. After ordering, we picked a table outside on the patio. One thing that stood out to me was that every single time a staff member walked by, they asked if we needed anything. Not a particular staff member; all of them. Very impressive service.
