This place was an old building that looks like it was straight out of a small village in Tijuana. There were a few parking spaces directly in front of the business. The gender neutral bathroom appeared clean with basic decor. The place had a simple, no-frills vibe, which can be a nice change of pace from the more trendy spots. The server made me an espresso which was quick and affordable at only $2.00. A few patrons came in for an early lunch as I was leaving the restaurant with my coffee to oddly complement with my pizza.

Love this place. The cleanest, delicious, affordable mom and pop. This place has been around and it get packed. Perfect for a quick breakfast lunch or dinner. The service is fast and friendly. Wants a quick Togo breakfast before work, call ahead. The bistec Paloma is my go to. The grilled onions are mouth watering. Pan con Bistec will leave your coworkers envious of how delicious and juicy it is. 2 people can eat for less than $20 dollars; good home cooked food.

Hidden gem down the street from Hardrock. We were lucky to get a table during their lunch rush hour. The service was good! We got the food in a timely manner and the place was spacious. The lunch specials Monday- Friday from 11-4pm is everything!!! These deals are something you can't pass up on. All the entrees go from $8.99+ depending on the day and what you get. It's affordable and tasty. The top 3 entrees we ordered was the carne asada which comes with a big steak with rice and beans as well as a garlic cilantro sauce. The tenderness of this juicy steak was to die for! Next up is the Bistec de Palomilla, this was almost like a thin strip of steak served with rice and beans. Super flavorful. Lastly, the bistec de pollo aka chicken steak, this came out juicy!!! I love how seasoned each of the entrees were. Also, you can't forget the Cuban coffee!! This was so strong and good, you don't want to miss out!

Back again for my Roast Pork fix. In on a Saturday at 5:30 for dinner. Not busy when I got there but getting busy when I left. Always a friendly greeting when I come in. ORDERED: Roast Pork "SOFT" I don't like the crunchy outside. Rice & Beans Plantains Bottled Lipton Tea TOTAL $17.10 plus tip 10 miles from home but worth it.. Be back for sure..

I haven't seen pan con bistec this big since prepandemic hialeah days lol The fried plantains didn't make it to the picture because they were soooo good, freshly made with the best garlic sauce on the side, brought me back to abuelas kitchen. The pork chop and beans were definitely someone's abuelas recipe because they had all the sazón I've been missing. Daily lunch deals are available and I can't wait to come back.

Cuban Sandwich is made with the proper ingredients & good quality nice value for it size at $8.99 (which I guess includes small FF side?) What I had ordered was a Side dish of black beans & rice. (Not FF) (I guess no substitutions ? ) additional cost for white rice & black beans $7.00. Service was quick & efficient, but not accurate or clear. (Language Barriers ?) Ambiance was clean, but place was empty at dinner time. Music oddly was retro English pop No tap water available, only water bottle $1.50, No fountain sodas, so No refill soda options

    Friend chicken chunks. Delicious!

We first heard how good this place was in an article in the local paper about great and cheap spots in Hollywood and Dania. We love Cuban so we made the drive and were already talking about going back before we were done with dinner. This place is wonderful. Spotless inside, really nice staff and big, delicious portions. I had fried chicken chunks and my husband had beef Vaca Frita. With a couple beers, deserts and coffee and tip the whole bill was just over $40. The traditional grilled buttered bread was complimentary. We took home enough for leftovers dinner the next night. Excellent, every bite. Five stars!

Everything was flavorful and authentic. The server was friendly and had a great smile. We were from out of town and made to feel welcome. Will definitely return when in this area again

Quick & friendly service, good food & not crazy expensive. $2 empanada de carne, $8.99 almuerzo especial bistec de pallormina, $3 o $3.5 cerveza, con agua de mineral (Perrier) para $3 más. The hot sauce was good, not face melting hot, but good flavor. Steak was a little tough, but it was well seasoned. The empanada was good, clearly it was either fried or baked, not nuked in the microwave. I appreciated the opportunity to use my Spanish since I just got back from Guatemala after living abroad most of the last 16 months. I got maybe one question in English which actually felt odd at the end jajajajajaja

It is a small restaurant and doesn't have much place to sit, it is an old restaurant, but food is good, not perfect but it was good, this restaurant is not bad to try once, service is good , foods are good too, but coffee and dessert was great

On a busy road like 441. These ma & pa pop shops are easy to miss. But this is definitely a gem in the wall. Working in the area this place is a go-to. Their Cuban coffee is muy delicioso and one of cheapest I ever seen. For a colada it's only $1.35 after tax. I stop by here at least once or twice a week. They also have specials everyday of the week. I've tried their chicken steak and never looked back. It was under 10$ and it came with a lot of food. It came with the chicken steak, black beans, rice, plantains and bread. All you ever need for a complete hit-the-spot meal. The wonderful ladies who work here are very nice. My only complaint is I called a togo order and they told me 30 mins but I ended up waiting 15 mins longer than I should've which I wouldn't mind but I was on a timed lunch break :/

The portions are healthy and a $30 entree is easily enough for two with a toddler. I would only venture the whole thing if I was working construction again or just got done with a tough workout. The skillet meal we ordered (bandeja paisa), with crispy pork belly, picanha, Morcilla, Columbian sausage, egg, arepa (grilled corn cake), maduros, red beans and rice was all perfectly prepared. My daughter snatched the avocado so I never got to try it, but she seemed to enjoy it so it must have been good. All meats were cooked to exactly where they should be. My only minor complaint is that i would have preferred a runnier egg.

Parking in the warehouse area was quite difficult but luckily I found a space. Once inside, the place was quite small but there is an additional dining room to the right. The ladies behind the counter took our order and although the food took a while, we did notice that they were packing up a large take out order and there were other dine in orders ahead of our which we didn't mind because we were in no hurry. Beverages are located in a cold storage cabinet but they also have traditional cuban coffee drinks and a fresh juicing machine of OJ. There were also some fresh baked goods on the bar area. Our sandwiches were served in a plastic basket with no included side but they had a few reasonable options. The Cuban sandwiches were packed full of pork, ham and cheese. They have a special garlic sauce that I used for some extra flavor which was also used on their plated dishes and the daily special. The food was fresh and so delicious and very good value for the large portion size.

The sandwich is huge and really flavorful. Definitely add the cilantro sauce. It takes it to another level. The standout for me was the sweet plantains. Hands down the best I've had since I was a kid in the Philippines. Absolute must try. Overall, an excellent experience.
