The restaurant is very small, with only about 7-8 tables, and it has a speakeasy-style concept that creates a unique and intimate atmosphere. What a cute speakeasy hidden inside Anaheim Packing District. It is on the lower level. I loved the ambiance. Reservations recommended, it has very limited seating. You are only allowed 90 minutes and yes they do watch the time. They will let you know when you only have 30 minutes left. I ordered scallop risotto and shrimp ceviche. My husband and I returned after several years for our 29th anniversary. I made reservations on the website, received a confirmation text the day prior, and we had zero issues upon checking in. We ordered the artichoke dip, scallops, and crab cakes. Although the food was good, the real show stoppers were the drinks. We sat at the bar while Adrian and Sergio crafted us some off-menu drinks based on our spirit preferences. Adrian made a fabulous Oaxacan Old Fashioned and an incredible mezcal cocktail with his homemade piloncillo syrup. Sergio worked his magic and served me a Paper Plane and an amazingly delicious Greenpoint cocktail. If you're looking for presentation, I recommend the Into the Woods. The ambiance is definitely unique and has a cool speakeasy vibe, but the space is extremely small and surprisingly loud -- even without music playing. Because it's so cramped, every conversation echoes throughout the room, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the experience. The drinks were expensive and very small, and honestly didn't feel worth the price. The food was the same way. We ordered the scallops and the cheeseburger -- $36 for three scallops with rice and $26 for a mediocre burger and fries felt really overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. We've been frequent customers of The Blind Rabbit for years and have always chosen it for special occasions -- which is why last night was so disappointing and upsetting. From a service standpoint, the experience was off from the start. My wife's drink was made incorrectly, and the replacement (supposedly the same drink) tasted noticeably different, as if prepared by a different bartender. I ordered a cocktail that was frankly undrinkable due to poor balance. The server was kind and replaced it with something from the online menu, but that drink wasn't even available on the physical menu we were given. My wife had looked up the menu ahead of time and was excited about it, so the inconsistency and quality issues were not what we've ever experienced here before. Unfortunately, the biggest issue had nothing to do with drinks. I am a full-time wheelchair user, and the ground-floor men's restroom is extremely difficult -- and frankly unsafe -- to access. The raised door threshold caused my wheelchair to get stuck while exiting the restroom. It took four able-bodied people to help me get out. During that process, the threshold bent my wheelchair wheel, making it unsafe and unusable. Because I rely on my wheelchair every day, I was forced to immediately purchase an emergency replacement at significant cost. I'm also scheduled for major surgery on March 3, so mobility isn't optional for me -- it's critical. The entire situation was painful, stressful, and deeply embarrassing. Based on my experience, the restroom access does not appear ADA-compliant, and the Anaheim Packing House overall is not wheelchair-friendly. This is something management should take very seriously, because no one should be injured or financially impacted just for trying to use the restroom. We expected a special night before surgery. Instead, we left disappointed, hurt, and with an unexpected expense. I sincerely hope this is addressed so no one else has to go through what I did read more

Drinks average $15+ and they are the first place i have been that boasts serving absinthe. The remedy for a rabbit was very good and creamy. It starts off tasting like an old fashion but then notes of fruit take over before any overwhelming alcohol flavor. It's easy to drink and does the trick. The midsommar comes in a cool cup. Kind of just tastes like penicillin or a fallen angel. But hey, you get some flowers in your alcohol. Finally, the corpse reviver #2! First time trying absinthe. Didn't taste strong. But i did feel the alcohol afterwards. It tastes like an unsweetened lemonade. The black cherry was my dessert. Overall this place is a great time. Try it yourself. The only real problem I encountered was the barstools cutting off my circulation after an hour. I guess I don't have enough cushion but man, my arse hurt in the stools. read more
