I'm not sure what The Blind Rabbit is like on any given evening, but if Sergio is taking care of you, well then you are in for an extraordinary evening! Not to get your hopes up or anything, but he makes your visit to this speakeasy an elaborate and awesome experience. We came here for a dear friend's birthday, so I had no expectations of the place- we just went to celebrate him! One thing of note: vegans beware! Eat before you come here! Our only option is hummus. Came for the drinks though, not the food. The ambiance is dimly lit to create the intimate vibe and there was a Great Gatsby theme. Not sure how often they change the theme but we'll be back soon to find out. Espresso martini was delicious, Across the Bay was delightful, but the ABSINTHE drinks were INCREDIBLE. Green Beast and Love You Better. Thank you Sergio for making Joe's 43rd birthday an unforgettable one.

Still a great place for beautiful and delicious craft drinks and with great service. The ambiance is just fantastic and a perfect place for adults hanging out to enjoy great drinks, good foods and great service in Anaheim.

Small but charming, Smells good and has a nice vibe I'm not talking about myself, I'm talking about The Blind Rabbit! The food was great the drinks were awesome and the service was outstanding. I Highly recommend this place! Come try em out for yourself!

Reservations were super easy to make and they do require a credit card to hold the reservation and there's a $25 cancellation fee if you don't show up. So make sure you cancel if you can't make it!! Finding the place was pretty easy once you knew where to look, but it definitely has that hidden speakeasy feel, so it can be a little tricky the first time. My friends and I tried entering through the exit!!! The space itself is pretty small but gives the true speakeasy vibes. The bartenders and servers were all super friendly, made great conversation, and were really knowledgeable about the drinks. I ordered the Vodka Sour, my friend ordered a different cocktail, and we both liked our drinks. Overall, it was a really fun experience and I plan to be back!

I've been wanting to come here forever after hearing so many great things and didn't realize how hard it was to get reservations. Had reservations for a party of four (made via online) and was seated right away. Ambiance is dark and intimate but seating was enough to feel like you had room. Drinks were delicious and strong and service was great and quick. You are limited to eating and drinking within a certain time frame but it's not bad as the servers are on it. Drinks 10/10 and food 10/10. I'm still craving their burger, one of the best ones I have had, I can't even compare it to anywhere else. Bathrooms are located outside of the speakeasy.

Super cute speakeasy with amazing service! Our hostess/waitress Jasmine and bartender Cameron were so friendly and nice to us during our time here. They made us feel super comfortable and it was so so fun talking to them. I ordered the nina fresa which is their strawberries & cream drink, and WOW it was delicious! I love a fruity sweet drink and that definitely hit the spot. I ordered two!! I don't remember what my friends got but they were good as well. We also got a creme brulee for a birthday and it was delicious and perfectly caramelized. Overall such a great and memorable experience, and definitely one of my favorite speakeasies I've been to!

I have been coming here since the first day they opened, around a decade ago. This is an amazing intimate speakeasy with 5 Star Quality Cocktails and Service. I love they keep changing their drink/food menu. It makes us keep coming again and again. Can't wait for tonight's reservation for their Our Gatsby-themed month, with specials on their drinks :).

The Blind Rabbit is one of the coolest speakeasies I've ever been too. I've had some of the most delicious drinks of my life here -- Each cocktail is hand-crafted with care and expertise. The food is also fantastic. If you love seafood, I highly recommend the scallops The bar is EXTREMELY small, with less than like ten tables plus a few more seats at the bar. So reservations are key if you want to visit, especially during a busy time or one of their specialty themed seasons.

I came to Blind Rabbit for the first time and got the absinthe. The presentation was wonderful with the blue light, and the pretty butterfly spoon. The bar was packed, but the bartenders were still engaging in conversation with us. I loved it and will be back.

Such a fun experience! If you're looking for a lowkey spot to sip on some elaborate cocktails this is the place for you! Tables are very limited so I highly recommend booking a reservation online. You check in with the host by the sake barrels and they will guide you in. The reservation allots you 90 minutes to dine and drink, and it was honestly the perfect amount of time. My boyfriend got 3 drinks, and I got 2, all were amazing and so unique! The bartender did a good job of rotating around everyone and pacing you pretty well in the process. We sat right at the bar and really enjoyed being up close and watching our bartender make these beautiful creations, it's honestly an art! I can't wait to come back! We ate lunch right before coming here, but next time we would love to try some bites since everything looked and smelled so good! Such a fun and unique experience, I highly recommend following them down the rabbit hole;)

Nice speakeasy at Anaheim Packing District, reservations required! The drinks were yummy; the Saturn cocktail ($18) is the best. The food was ok; we got the Duck Confit Mac & Cheese ($19), Beef Tartare ($23), and a side of fries. It was tasty, but super small portions for the price. It's pretty small inside, but I think that's a lot of speakeasys. It is very dark inside. Service was great, and they let us stay a bit longer than our reserved time since I was late and couldn't find parking. (Parking is really tough, went on a Thursday night and was struggling for a bit) Would come again for their special menus!

Enjoyed this speakeasy! It is nicely "hidden" and the ambiance was cool- low lit, eclectic and cozy. The hostess was very sweet and let us in and seated us right away. There were 2 bartenders and a server for the tables. We sat at the bar. One of bartenders seemed to be newer but everyone was very nice. The drinks we ordered were yummy. We also ordered the crab cake, shrimp ceviche, and empanadas. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Unlike other places, there didn't seem to be a time limit or since it was a Tuesday evening, they weren't too busy. Again, the ambience and music were great. There was one area in the ceiling they need to fix but other than that, everything was good. You should def try it.

Great experience here! Took my girlfriend here as a surprise. Super awesome comfy vibe. As expected drinks weren't cheap haha but hey it's also for the ambiance. Really great drinks though.

The Blind Rabbit Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - The Blind Rabbit

    Do you accept cash?

    Yes

I made a reservation for tomorrow at 7 but I have not received the confirmation email. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Is it mainly drinks and small plates or is it a place where we can have a full dinner?

Awesome full dinner available! As much as I hate the instagramness here sometimes, it's a great place, tasty food and wonderful staff!

Is there a strict dress code? Can I wear a ball cap?

Yes you should be able to. I have seen people there in shorts.

What's the wait list/reservation like? I was looking to reserve for 2 people this week (12/11 actually) but there are no reservations. The table reservation website indicates no reservations for many weeks. Is it just walk in now?

They do not allow walk ins in the evening only reservations. I believe that you can do walk ins up to 4:00 on weekends but that was a few years ago. And yes it is months out to get in...

Do you know if they are currently doing the Harry Potter theme?

    It's Beetlejuice this year

    Do they serve mocktails?

They'll make you just about anything you want

    Do you allow smoking inside?

No smoking is allowed in or around the whole Packing House area.

Is the upside down theme going on with stranger things?

Haven’t heard about any Stranger Things theming, but the Harry Potter one should be in October.

How fast do you get a response when messaging on any of the social media sites?

We have an average response rate of 30min for the Yelp Messaging Platform. When reaching out through Instagram we average relatively the same time but can be longer as we prioritize Yelp.

    Is there a cancelation fee?

You can cancel but you have to give them 23-48 hours notice, I believe. Otherwise, you will get a per person charge. Be sure to read their reservation policy for the exact info.

What kind of music do they play here?

Last time I was there, it was Jazz

Is the Harry Potter theme continuing in January 2024?

From what I gather, the Harry Potter layover is only in October.

When do new reservations become available? 30 days ahead of time? A week ahead? At midnight?

    28- days in advance.

Do they still have the Harry Potter theme for the month of November?

    Nope, it was October only.

Is this place big enough for 8 people to be comfortable?

No. They will most likely split your group

Do I need a reservation or do you accept walk ups?

They only take walk ins when someone else cancel their reservations. It's best to reserve it two weeks ahead. But if you're in luck and show up right when they open, you'll have a higher chance of getting in without a reservation but no guarantee.…

Is there live music on friday nights?

Yes, they do! They have a live pianist singer who does songs from the prohibition period 1920's-30's. My husband and I have seen him a bunch of times!

Is it difficult to get a seat at the bar without reservations during the weekday?

What's your phone number? I have reservation already But I would like to add 2 more people

They don't have one....it says that right in your reservation.....

We were escorted inside and our hostess immediately started introducing us to the lore of the place: a capsized ship with the space decorated using pieces recovered from the wreckage. The room is VERY dimly lit, and we actually stood near the entrance for a moment while our eyes adjusted, but honestly that just added to the atmosphere. On the way to our reservation in the Captain's Quarters, our hostess gave us a little tour of the main room and even pointed out the bathrooms for later. Once we sat down, we met our bartender, Drew, who was fantastic. He walked us through the different menus, explained the food and cocktails, and really added to the experience throughout the night. I'm normally a whiskey drinker, so I started with the Southeast Spice Trade while my girlfriend ordered the Pineapple Whipped Colada. Both were delicious, but half the fun was watching Drew make them. You could really see the amount of care that went into the craft and presentation of every drink. For food, we ordered the chicken katsu and ahi poke nachos. I was especially excited when the nachos arrived and I realized they were made with wonton chips. I'm a sucker for wonton chips, so those were an immediate win. We obviously couldn't stop at one round of drinks, so next came the Tarobi Colada and Zombie King. Drew told us a little about the history of the Zombie King and gave us a lesson on rum, so I had to try it, plus it came in one of the coolest mugs I've ever seen. The Zombie King was easily my favorite drink of the night. The flavor was fantastic from beginning to end and dangerously smooth. I didn't even realize how much it had hit me until I stood up. Even leaving was part of the experience. We finally checked out the bathroom and the door has what feels like TEN different locks on it. It genuinely felt like I was locking myself inside the bathroom of an old pirate ship. Between the storytelling, incredible atmosphere, Captain's Quarters, food, cocktails, and especially the service from Drew, this was such a memorable night. Strong Water completely commits to its theme without sacrificing the quality of the drinks. Absolutely an experience worth having, and we can't wait to come back.

We have returned to Strong Water several times in recent months, so it's time for an update. We…read morefirst returned in early June since they introduced some new cocktails and food to the menu. The other visits were just because this is by far our number one place. Recently added cocktails: Buzzin' Jungle Bird (Jamaican gold rum, coffee infused campari, dark rum, pineapple, lime, hemp orgeat, cane, Angostura bitters). This is a great spin on a jungle bird, with some complexity and coffee flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee, but it is at a good level. Chi Chi (Whey vodka, pineapple, lime, date, honey, coconut, salt). This has a great creamy texture which I believe comes from the dairy component of the whey vodka. It is well balanced with some sweetness, and I could taste the coconut and date flavors. Lapu Lapu (Asian rum, Jamaican rum, dry curacao, lime, orgeat, demerara). It is juicy, well balanced, and served with a flaming sugar cube on top. This is the cocktail they chose to serve at their booth at Tiki Oasis recently which says a lot, try it! Thai Me Down (Barbados rum, coconut liqueur, papaya, lemon, demerara, Thai basil). It is served old-fashioned style, and was light and perfectly balanced. Those Thai inspired flavors were all noticeable. Demerara Dry Float. They added and took this one off the menu as of now. It was a balanced light citrusy drink which was served with a delicious sidecar of Hamilton 151 rum infused with banana chips. I sipped half of that and mixed the rest into the cocktail. It was served with a beautiful ice shell. I'm guessing it was too labor intensive, and took up a lot of space in their freezers. Recently added food: Ahi Poke Nachos (marinated ahi tuna, masago, avocado, cucumber, spicy mayo, furikake, green onion). This is such a tasty starter with so many textures and flavors. I love that the nachos are wontons too, and not just chips. Crab & Cream cheese wontons. Nice crisp wontons with a good amount of crab and cream cheese inside. The chili sauce and spicy mayo adds another layer of flavor, and there is a slice of jalapeno on top for a little heat. Pan-Seared Scallops. This was an excellent lighter entrée. The four scallops are cooked perfectly, and even have a little dollop of caviar on top. I liked the mix of veggies and really liked the bed of potato puree underneath. Steak & Eggs (8oz hanger steak, crying tiger glaze, Nam Jim Jaew sauce, sunny eggs, rice). I normally wouldn't try steak & eggs for dinner, but I can't resist a good hanger steak. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and I appreciate that it was pre-sliced. The crying tiger glaze and sauce were so flavorful. There's plenty of rice to soak up any left egg yolk or sauce. Recently added desserts: Dubai Chocolate Lava Cake. This was excellent, but it's definitely sweet and rich. Save some room if you plan on ordering this. Ube Flan Cake. I'm usually not a fan of flan, but I have to try anything with ube and this was good. The cake had nice ube flavor, and I liked that the flan was a little firm since the looser custardy/gelatinous texture is not for me. This is definitely a lighter dessert than the lava cake. It's not a new drink, but I also had the Naval Grog for the first time. (Lost Voyage rum, overproof white rum, allspice dram, lime, grapefruit, demerara, honey). It is boozy with nice spice notes. Other repeat cocktails enjoyed were Tales from the Black Lagoon (my favorite), Missionary's Downfall, Agave Parrot, Singapore Sling, and Serpents Grasp all of which are excellent. Their cocktails, food, ambiance, and service are always top notch. Thank you Ying, Erica, Greg, Jordan, Joey, Iris, Karen, Kyle, Joy, and John for your wonderful hospitality during our visits. We will return again soon!

Puppets hang here and there, as well as other thematic, decorative details. My friend and I shared a few mouthwatering apps and imbibed a few delicious concoctions. Our wonderful bartender frim "outside" even came in with us, which made our experience even more personalized. We especially appreciated the complimentary shots! Our food was delicious and plentiful for apps: spam musubi, edamame, sliders, and shishito peppers. Now this is a big deal: my friend has celiac disease. She needs to be very cautious when ordering food. She self-advocates but much relies on the knowledge of servers. Our wonderful bartender, now our server, was very diligent and knowledgeable, and double checked ingredients with the chefs. Accommodations were made. Good times rolled on! While I understand TBotB is it's own thing separate from Stowaway, I wish you could get some of the drinks from there. Most of the cocktails we had were good (but I'm not sure I'd order them again), but the menu had a number of drinks I won't order, they're just not my style. We missed being able to get some of our favorites from Stowaway. We ended up getting a table at Stowaway after our time was up in TBotB anyway because we were having a good time so that was fun. All in all, I think next time we'll stick with Stowaway and sitting at the bar. At least we can check TBotB off our list. It's worth checking out for sure, but for me I enjoy the more classic tiki cocktails. It's fun to venture off the beaten path once in a while.

The drinks were flavorful, sweet but still strong! I love the martinis we got (dragon lady, treasure box, and vitamin D) and definitely recommend trying one or ALL of them! The punch bowl we got was yummy and great for group pictures! The food was yummy especially paired with the drinks. Spam nachos and stowaway fries are a must! The stowaway fries has egg, pork, and gravy that is similar to a loco moco! Service was great and quick! We will come back here for his next birthday for sure!

The front door staff was kind and she explained the 2 hour strict dining policy as she walked us to our table. I was blown away by the beauty of this place, it reminded me of an adult version of the rainforest cafe. My friends and I started off with a few drinks-- mai tais and the dole whip drink they have. Both were really good but the dole whip is out of this world. For food we shared wings, poke bombs, coconut shrimp, spicy edamame, and fries. The portions are decent for the price but it makes sense because the food is so flavorful. My favorite item was the spicy chili wings. I think this is such a great place for hanging out with friends or date night.

When I said "Bar" and "Santa Ana" in the Yelp search - of course it said "Club 616" in the first…read morespot - OF COURSE IT SAID 616!!! I was lucky enough to stumble across this gem of the center of OC when they first opened - and I am proud to be a regular here. I don't know how to go somewhere else - because I feel like the staff are giant gems in this jewel of a spot. Winters is a curator of boozy information that has helped me learn about "gin" and "root beer whiskey" so I can sound like an adult-ish purveyor, when really I know close to nothing except being a willing student to his creations. Dan the Man and Jacob always see me raise my hand in the corner of the bar, like the student I am, and have been willing to fill in the blanks for me when I know I am of thirst, but do not have the words for what to order. Every person working in the well has treated me with kindness - they have taken the time to get to know me, and I will be forever appreciative of how they have taken care of me over the years. But the real joy has been the transformation that this spot has for building a community of people in Santa Ana for real recognizing real. I have been bringing my Dad with me to play pool for the past few years. Sometimes people ask me if he plays professionally, I am terrible, and my skill incline is slow, he is patient and plays with the same level craftiness that the staff offer the cocktails. My Dad is always stoked when we have time to go have a few hours of games at 616 - especially now that there are regulars on 4th street that are excited to see that he is there playing - and they rush to write their names on the chalkboard to challenge him - or beat him in a game they really earned the W. On lazy Sundays, I watch couples sit with their drink, listening to Jazz, and watching my Dad whoop my ass while making amazing shots. I am forever grateful to Memo who sometimes takes a break from his shift behind the bar to give my dad an actual challenge - which allows me the chance to watch my Dad enjoy fellowship around the table. Knowing the table was a relic of the bars former self, and knowing the history that this spot has in Santa Ana is a reminder that so much around us can change - but it is those moments of the crack of the rack, the cheer of getting the combo shot, and the shake of hands when it's over that shows that it's not just about the pool table - but about the energy of a place that is welcoming and curated by people who care about what they do - and care about who comes through their doors. Thank you Jason and Mike B to bringing this to 4th St and supporting the community that was already here - and for building a community for the future. Thank you to Christina and Brandon for always having amazing pictures, decor, and fun events at 616 that help introduce new folks into this great spot. Time is short. Learn about Root Beer Whiskey. Write your name on the Chalk Board. No one lives forever.

Staff first welcomed us in the court of angels (downstairs courtyard area) and greeted us with refreshing chill towelettes. Afterwards, we were given a mini tour of the lounge and dining area. It was Alice in Wonderland themed and the interior was super cute and most importantly, ACed. We got a prix fix dinner with 4 courses: Steak tartare (4/5): pretty good standard steak tartare! Shrimp (4/5): super flavorful. My friends got the lamb porterhouse which was 5/5 and super tender and flavorful without the gaminess. American wagyu ribeye (3/5): the steak itself was pretty tough and lean. I had some difficulty even cutting slices. Would definitely skip this one. Cheese plate (4/5): pretty standard cheese plate. Overall, really great experience! The food itself isn't mind blowing, but the atmosphere, staff, and good vibes made our experience at Disney! Also, the bathroom is super nice to check out (they have personal mouthwashes, floss, and a powder area).

Service coming in was very hospitable and the woman who greeted us and walked us into the dining room was welcoming and kind. From there, I did not note any other servers who were as attentive or personable as she was. Regarding food, it's prix fixe and options were extensive in my eyes since our party had a variety of allergies as well as picky eaters. Here is my ranking of what I ordered: Bread rolls: 7/10 doughy but good to hold you over Beef Tartare: 9/10 (Toast was dry and tough to cut through and even had one of our party using their hands trying to eat this dish but overall good flavor.) Lamb Porterhouse: 10/10 (Incredible flavor and cook on this. The only down side was how small this was because I wanted more with how delicious it was) American Wagyu Eye of Ribeye: 7.5/10 (I can make food like this better at home. Was extremely dry on its own and felt like I had to saw through this with my knife. Fava beans were bland and not my favorite component here either. Cheese Plate: 9/10 (Standard and they were very accommodating in switching out the bleu cheese for something else) Overall, the experience was something intriguing since not many people get the opportunity to do. They even had merchandise for purchase but didn't pull the trigger on that. If I were to be invited to return, I think I would go for the vibes with friends but not necessarily because I felt the food was phenomenal (The turkey leg is still so much better and unbeatable at the park). Also prices for drinks were also obnoxious but maybe that's to be expected in this park. Last thing to note for future diners, this place had majority of us freaking out over the dress code but the place seems lax on it since we saw people with disney merch on and mickey ears (which we were informed were absolutely not allowed in).

Really disappointed in my experience on June 29th, 2026. Had tickets to the FYA Podcast, and…read moredecided to pay the upcharge to get into the foundation room PURELY to use their separate entrance for ease of use since we had done that before. It was hot outside and we wanted to be inside as much as possible, so we were willing to pay the $20 each ($40 total) to use the separate entrance. We literally paid for it for no other reason. You really don't get any other perks--you can drink in there, but you pay for it (drinks are average), you can eat bar food in there, but you pay for it...so if you don't get the perk of using their separate entrance instead of having to wait out in the regular line & go through regular security, what's the point? Well, that's what I was asking myself on June 29th when we were informed that the foundation room entrance into the house of blues seating was not being used that evening. If you eat in the regular restaurant first, you can get an express pass for the line...but at least you also got to eat. There was no reason given as to why we couldn't use that entrance, just a "you'll have to go back outside and back through security and enter with everyone else." When we asked why that wasn't disclosed when we purchased entry for that night, the lady just shrugged...coolcoolcool. So, we paid an additional $40 to walk through the room, buy an overpriced rum and coke, and then have to immediately exit again to go back through security (where they confiscated my gum...I'm a 41 year old adult, I'm not going to put gum on a chair for god's sake) so that we could get inside in time...when we paid to have an ease of entry. Not to mention we had called 2 days prior to ask what time the foundation room opened and never received a return call. Lastly, they clearly don't know the audience. This was a live taping of a themepark pod cast, but the people playing in the foundation room were playing some kind of backwoods country jazz with no lyrics--they were terrible and it made no sense as a precursor to this event. I will never utilize this thing again- it's a waste of money- don't bother--you might as well just pay to eat there so you can skip the line and at least you get dinner that way.
