It was hard to only give 3 stars because the food was amazing. We had a party of 8 and the steaks were very flavorful and rich. The brussel sprouts were very good but could've been a little more charred. The sweet potatoes were perfect and the ambience was delightful. Let's get to the service, there was none. We had to flag down our waitress for drinks, then flag her down to order an appetizer, flag her down to order food, flag her down for refills. Then to top it off they automatically charged 20% which was over $100 for tip that she no way deserved. Other than that, the plastic wine glasses were a little trashy for the prices of wine they carry.

Oh yes! This place is a must try. I was out in Waco for business & was looking for a steakhouse. Didn't realize I had one just a walk from my hotel. This place is amazing. Great food, great ambiance, great service. So good. I even had dessert. I'll be back. For sure.

First time trying this place it came Recommended. Atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar top and the place wasn't busy. Waited about 20 mins for bartender to take our drink order (old fashion & cosmo) drinks was fantastic. We ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium. It was one of the worst steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. One side was seared great other side wasn't touch. Way under cooked blue/rare still cool Center. Maybe just an off night but cook didn't know what he was doing.

This restaurant is located within the Cambria Hotel to the side of the front desk. It has a beautiful upscale environment and decor. Seating did seem very limited, so make a reservation before you come. We were given a complementary dish that I can't remember the name of. I also ordered the seafood bisque and the New York Strip. The seafood bisque had a peppery kick and tasted great. They allow you to choose your own steak knife before the steaks come out, which is very nice. Unfortunately, the lower rating is due to the steaks. The New York Strip did not taste properly seasoned. It did have a good crust, but the flavor profile was very weak. It was also dry on the inside as if the juices were expelled. The ribeye was over-cooked, but it was a thinner steak that came out. The meat itself had a good flavor, but also seemed under seasoned prior to cooking. All of the staff were very nice and cordial. Very professional feel, and the service was great. It's definitely worth another try and I hope the steaks are better the next time around!

Celebrating our Anniversary and the food was phenomenal!!! Service was great as well. 5 stars!

The pasta and bread were AMAZING! Loved the atmosphere. The piano man was definitely a bonus. Will be back for sure!

I like the ambiance of the restaurant. My boys enjoyed their steaks. However, my shrimp dish was not cooked all the way, but they made it again for me so would say the service is good. They also have a nice bar area and we enjoyed our drinks. We would come back to try more of their menu.

Celebrated February birthdays at Blvd Steakhouse. While we disappointed that the sea bass was sold out the Salmon was an excellent runner up. Drinks were on point and dessert was amazing. No one in our group had steak but we are excited to return. The piano music for the evening was a wonderful touch, too!

I had the Maple Old Fashioned, like I usually do, the cubes were small so it tasted watered down. No pick for the cherry, no straw, wasn't smoked. What a waste of Whiskey. My wife's agave drink also sad. I had another whiskey cocktail and felt like a waste. I usually get the Rack of Lamb which has always been unbelievably great. Not on the menu anymore. Got the chef's pick which came with several courses. Salad was plain, soup was incredible, fish was ok, I don't remember what the other thing was. Service was great as always but when you spend $175 plus $36 for a tip I expect top level. Next year I would have a hard time going back there for my 42nd anniversary. What a shame.

That is what we did, the problem was addressed to our satisfaction, and here I present the outstanding experience we had at this restaurant. Service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food preparation. The ambience was very pleasant, from drinks on the outside patio to our meal inside. Our party of four ordered a lot, including two steaks, Chilean a la Prime, the Chef's weekly special, asparagus, and more. All of the food was exceptional well-prepared and I'm still thinking about how much we all enjoyed coming here.

As has become almost standard in any steakhouse these days, her ribeye was not medium well as she asked, closer to a Pleistocene dining experience than in a very upscale restaurant in a technologically advanced civilization. Seems like they could have got that right. The prime rib was excellent, perfectly cooked and served with a particularly superb version of horse radish sauce. The vegetable sides were asparagus with Hollandaise and baked spinach. These are "family" servings that we shared between us. The spinach was excellent; the asparagus was a touch on the al dente side and the Hollandaise thin and flat, could have used a discernable bit of flavor. Meal - we'll go with a solid B plus, and a properly prepared ribeye would have elevated that. Service -the young lady that greeted us was clearly evaluating our somewhat casual attire (no shorts, no T-shirts, crocs or flip-flops, just nothing fancy) and had all of the warmth and welcoming charm of a Minnesota winter. The waiter was efficient and pleasant, but again as is a modern affectation, a bit overly familiar. We enjoy good service, but we're not going to become pen pals.

We kept it simple with apps and drinks, and even that was a letdown. The calamari came out lukewarm with zero flavor. Crab cakes were also barely warm (they tasted okay, but still shouldn't be served like that). The worst part was the lobster bisque--bland, lukewarm, and honestly tasted like canned soup with a few pieces of "lobster" thrown in. No flavor at all. We didn't complain, but the manager came over after noticing it wasn't touched and said the chef was "trying something different"... it didn't work. Even a guest next to us overheard and said the quality has gone downhill--she had sent hers back too. The only good thing was the drinks--dirty vodka martinis were solid. Overall, not worth the price. We won't be back.

The menu is simple, thoughtfully curated, and everything we ordered was executed beautifully. I had the steak, served over a bed of perfectly cooked bell peppers and onions. It was flavorful and cooked exactly right. My mom ordered the whole fish and cleaned her plate, which says it all. My son chose the handmade pasta, and it was outstanding. The meat to sauce ratio was spot on, and he finished every bite. We started with the Caesar salad, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The unique nut mix added an unexpected crunch and took it to another level. We wrapped up the meal with the mousse dessert, and I highly recommend saving room for it. it was the perfect ending. Every plate at our table came back empty. Great food, excellent execution, and a wonderful atmosphere and service. We'll definitely be back.

We had a 6:45 reservation and we arrived an hour early to have a drink in the bar and the hostess told us that she would let us know if a table in the bar became available before our reservation time. I checked with her once because we noticed a few tables had been empty the entire hour we were there and she said that she still did not have anything available because they were reserved for reservations. No one ever showed up and she ended up seating us at one of the tables that had been empty the entire time and she seated us 10 minutes after our reservation time! The food was OK but the portion size for the price was not good. They were out of iced tea and potatoes by 7 o'clock. I ended up sending my gnocchi back because it was absolutely terrible. My husband ordered a martini and was charged 50 cents for an extra olive and, ironically, he only received one olive on the toothpick. The service was terrible and the bartender was very unfriendly, and we would never go back!

First, it's beautiful inside. Darker walls. Eclectic art. There's no cookie-cutter stuff here. Every wall, every facade is nice to look at and you forget you're in an outdoor shopping plaza in Texas, which is hard to do around here! Second, service was great - no complaints there. A younger server named Jennifer I think saw to us and she was great - checked in, was prompt and pleasant. Third - food was GREAT! We all LOVED everything! Some old review said their mac and cheese was "the worst ever" while others have said the best - It's THE BEST! Very, very good! I had a filet which was a little different than others I've had which was excellent; most filets are a tight piece of meat but this was one was looser (I know that's weird to say) but whatever - it was delicious and I highly recommend it. Drinks were great. Their smoked old fashioned was worth it and the wines were great too. We don't live near here but would go back again if we are in the area for sure. Little worried about this particular shopping area as I saw two other restaurants with CLOSED permanently signs on them. Let's hope this place lasts!

The energy and decor of the bar and restaurant is just classic and lovely. You really can feel the love and dedication that went into the design of the restaurant. I loved the marble/ natural stone tops of the cocktail tables and the leather seats. Such elegance without making someone feel out of place. The wine menu is spectacular and I found a favorite at a very agreeable price. A wonderful job in selecting the wines. Jordan was our server when we were seated and we highly appreciated her dedication and attention to our service and experience. I really appreciate that she didn't rush us to order mains until after we had more time and overall her easiness in conversation was very relatable and we enjoyed getting to know her. Now the food, A+++ honestly the best appetizers I've had in a while with the right balance of flavor and spice! Both the dumplings and crispy rice were standouts on their own. The main filet dish and sides were all equally excellent. The streak was charred a little in the outside, which I love, with perfect medium temperature inside. Honestly spectacular. Dessert was just as wonderful and we finished every bite. This restaurant is wonderful and I hope you come back and experience it again. Such a great job!
