It was hard to only give 3 stars because the food was amazing. We had a party of 8 and the steaks were very flavorful and rich. The brussel sprouts were very good but could've been a little more charred. The sweet potatoes were perfect and the ambience was delightful. Let's get to the service, there was none. We had to flag down our waitress for drinks, then flag her down to order an appetizer, flag her down to order food, flag her down for refills. Then to top it off they automatically charged 20% which was over $100 for tip that she no way deserved. Other than that, the plastic wine glasses were a little trashy for the prices of wine they carry.

Oh yes! This place is a must try. I was out in Waco for business & was looking for a steakhouse. Didn't realize I had one just a walk from my hotel. This place is amazing. Great food, great ambiance, great service. So good. I even had dessert. I'll be back. For sure.

First time trying this place it came Recommended. Atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar top and the place wasn't busy. Waited about 20 mins for bartender to take our drink order (old fashion & cosmo) drinks was fantastic. We ordered the ribeye steak cooked medium. It was one of the worst steaks I've ever had at a restaurant. One side was seared great other side wasn't touch. Way under cooked blue/rare still cool Center. Maybe just an off night but cook didn't know what he was doing.

This restaurant is located within the Cambria Hotel to the side of the front desk. It has a beautiful upscale environment and decor. Seating did seem very limited, so make a reservation before you come. We were given a complementary dish that I can't remember the name of. I also ordered the seafood bisque and the New York Strip. The seafood bisque had a peppery kick and tasted great. They allow you to choose your own steak knife before the steaks come out, which is very nice. Unfortunately, the lower rating is due to the steaks. The New York Strip did not taste properly seasoned. It did have a good crust, but the flavor profile was very weak. It was also dry on the inside as if the juices were expelled. The ribeye was over-cooked, but it was a thinner steak that came out. The meat itself had a good flavor, but also seemed under seasoned prior to cooking. All of the staff were very nice and cordial. Very professional feel, and the service was great. It's definitely worth another try and I hope the steaks are better the next time around!

Celebrating our Anniversary and the food was phenomenal!!! Service was great as well. 5 stars!

The pasta and bread were AMAZING! Loved the atmosphere. The piano man was definitely a bonus. Will be back for sure!

I like the ambiance of the restaurant. My boys enjoyed their steaks. However, my shrimp dish was not cooked all the way, but they made it again for me so would say the service is good. They also have a nice bar area and we enjoyed our drinks. We would come back to try more of their menu.

Celebrated February birthdays at Blvd Steakhouse. While we disappointed that the sea bass was sold out the Salmon was an excellent runner up. Drinks were on point and dessert was amazing. No one in our group had steak but we are excited to return. The piano music for the evening was a wonderful touch, too!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and directed to choose a table of our preference. The waitress quickly came over and grabbed our drink order while we looked at the menu. We placed our order and the waitress was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. She also informed us they work as a team so we can stop anyone when/if we need something. We started with the "Burning Bush" appetizer (crispy Brussel sprouts w/ lemon garlic aioli). YUM! They had just the right bite to them, and the glaze on them paired with the aioli was delicious! For our entrees we had the Golden Calf Burger w/ sweet potato fries and sriracha aioli and The Weight of Glory Sandwich w/ broccoli slaw. They were both incredibly flavorful and fresh! You can tell they locally source their ingredients and prepare them onsite. The portions are also plentiful, and we left with a takeout box. To round off lunch we tried the special mousse on the specials board (coffee flavored cheesecake mousse). It was so delightful we dug in before I could snap a pic. Just enough coffee flavor paired with chocolate sauce (not hersheys ). The big windows allow for a lot of natural light and lends to a welcoming and warm environment. We will for sure be back and bring others!

The vibe is very laid back and chill. The food was really good, we had a couple kids meals (cheeseburgers), a BYOB and I got the Gosh Jam It Burger and added Fried Onions, Bacon and Chipotle Sauce. The burger was yummy and the flavors blended well! We also enjoyed an order of fried pickles at the table along with samples of their free flavored pickles not pictured. All in all we enjoyed ourselves, the crowd was lively and the kids said this is their new favorite burger place so we will be back again!

I ordered the fried pickles and I thought they would come out as an appetizer, but they were put next to the burger as a side so I was disappointed in that. The fried pickles were way too thick for my liking although they were breaded well. What's neat about this place is the variety of different flavored pickles that they have in the corner for you to eat. I really did like that!! There's a bar in the center of the floor and although I didn't get anything from the bar, I did like the setup. The burger itself was okay. Not spectacular, but not the worst. Would I eat here again? I think I would.

Today on the drive back and as I approach Waco I thought I'm gonna find a great smash burger....and oh boy did I ever. 4.5 miles off the expressway yelp pointed me to Captain Billy Whizz...not going to lie on the way there I was concerned and I got closer more worried if I had in fact chosen correctly! Pulling in nothing special and the area is interesting.... Saw they had a drive thru and went what the hell let's do this! Ordered a double smash burger with cheese fully dressed extra pickle, tater tots sweet tea and spent $20.00...just me. What I received was a perfectly cooked and seasoned juicy burger...HOT. The bun was soft and reminded me of an old style burger from my childhood. This is a big juicy burger and everything you'd want and expect in a burger. Tatter-tots were ok...hard to go wrong with em.... The problem is the burger...it's soooo damn good you forget about the tots. My only regrets is that I didn't take a pic....that's how good the burger is you won't put it down till it's finished. Ask for extra napkins....

We got seated right away around 1:30 pm on a Friday. There appeared to be only two servers covering the entire room but they did a pretty good job of it. Our waiter, a young man was quite pleasant and knowledgeable. He used an electronic order taking device and was able to customize anything we asked for, right in the device. Three of us ordered shakes. My friend loves Coconut Cream Pie, which they have and she was considering a shake. I suggested she ask our server if he could make her a Coconut Cream Pie shake with vanilla ice cream. Sure enough, he did it and it was quite tasty. For lunch, we ordered as follows: - Patty Melt with Tots (shared by my wife and I) - Kids Finger Basket with 1 Chicken and 1 Steak finger and tots - Steak Finger Basket with Tots The food was very diner diner-like (fried or flat top grilled) and it was tasty. This was a decent and fun lunch and we'd stop here again.

For dessert, Apple pie with ice cream -- good and reliable. Lemon meringue pie -- disappointing despite a well-executed meringue; crust crumbly; texture and taste didn't quite align, with a subtle metallic lemon note.
