    Bloody Mary on the deck

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great view, great service and AMAZING view of the lake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Probably one of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had!

We came here for dinner one night during our vacation. The food was very good and the food also came out really really fast. The service was super fast, very accommodating very very patient and caring. They took care of all of our questions and request politely and quickly. I got the Maryland crabcake and it was delicious. It becomes with french fries and you got two crabcakes with the order. We also got the buffalo chicken wings as an appetizer. They were very good and not too spicy. The restaurant over lake and you can see a very pretty view and you can also see the boats going around. They also had some live music which was very nice.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had lunch on the patio and it was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fancy bloody mary with shrimp and bacon, Greek salad with grilled shrimp, super crispy fries, a decent shrimp po' boy sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was good and the views are stunning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do think I'd order the fried shrimp instead of the sandwich next time - there just seemed to be a lot of bread and not enough shrimp. The grilled shrimp on my salad were excellent - fresh and tasted of the sea. Very nice fresh veggies and homemade dressing. A tradition in Lake George!

This isn't meant as a dig but a few of the "on the water" restaurants are a bit rundown. These seem geared towards the tourists that are maybe more eager to get their drink on, listen to some sloppy "live music" (usually a guy with a guitar that's still struggling to learn the chord changes to The Eagles' most popular songs) and not too concerned with the food (otherwise how can you explain the popularity of Christie's?!). Then there's Boardwalk. By far the cleanest and classiest joint (with a rather large "fingerprint" on and above the lake for tables and couches) of the five or six in the vicinity. We visited for lunch and the food was ridiculously good. From a pulled-pork sandwich (too sugary-sweet for me, but my one kid dug it) to a Cesar salad with salmon (which the Mrs. devoured) to my own Santa Fe chicken wrap for (bursting with flavor and big enough that I couldn't even think about dinner that night) - no faults could be found. Solid beer list. Decent pricing. Friendly staff. And it's probably a good thing I stopped after one pint of wheat beer because I was positive at the end of the outdoor patio it was a real person that seemed to be staring into his binoculars for an unusually long time. (We'd come to realize it's just a mannequin.)

Beautiful views overlooking the lake. The server was amazing. Our food came quickly. Everything I ordered was well-flavored and delicious. The lobster roll was heavenly, packed with tender, big, pieces of juicy lobster.

Atlantic City has its boardwalk for gambling and the Atlantic Ocean. Monopoly has its boardwalk for fun and games. Well now add Lake George's Boardwalk Restaurant for the ultimate in Bloody Mary's , food and views of Lake George. We sat at the bar on the outside patio overlooking Lake George, what a view. Great service from the bartender and free parking with validating your ticket. Ciao for Now.

Lake side lunching m at its best. It's a nice place on the shore of Lake George. No reservations allowed or at least when we were there. The Lagoon kind of has that Booting motif/outdoor camping pavilion all in one. The service and staff were great. Beautiful views of Lake George and good comfort food. The Bloody Mary was basically a whole lunch in itself. It's a great place to start a fun week or weekend off.

Fast, friendly service. Great water front views with easy access and parking. Good food. Delicious red sangria.

So we went to this place for lunch as a family. We didn't even know if it would be good but it was wonderful. I got a fish sandwich which was delicious and an excellent Bloody Mary. We were right at the water. And the people serving us were so kind and are fast with are food. If you are Lake George you should come.

Fried shrimp and crab cakes, both amazing

We just arrived in Lake George and stopped here for lunch. We were promptly seated outside with a nice view of Lake George. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The menu had salads, sandwiches, burgers and more. I got a Santa Fe wrap that was tasty with the homemade chips. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato tater tots. This was not a fancy place but good service, food and nice views of the water.

We were a large group without reservations…read moreso there was an adequate wait (of about twenty minutes), but there was a beautiful sitting area where we were allowed to comfortably wait while enjoying drinks from the bar. Inside, the place is massive. Seating options seem to span two levels, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seating at a large table by a curtained patio with views of the lake, which was perfect for our gigantic party (plus a dog). The food came out promptly, and a few stars quickly emerged. The seafood pasta was an absolute hit, as was the beautiful summer salad with berries. Everything else at our table was received just as well, and it was wonderful to dine with such a fine view. Also, shout out to our amazing server, Chloe! As we were being shown to our table, our hostess told us, "You guys will have the best server." And she was right! Chloe was so helpful, and patient with our big group, and especially kind with the kiddos at our table.

I love a good waterfront view and the massive multi level porch didn't disappoint. They also offer plenty of interior space decorating in a nautical theme which gives you a feeling you're on vacation, as most probably were. All three of us stared with their signature blue piña coladas and calamari. Drinks were amazing, calamari was tasty. After that I went with their smash burger which had surprisingly thick beef patties, so very delicious and filling. I look forward to returning here soon and definitely give them

We were pleasantly surprised with both the high food quality and friendly, efficient service. Seated outside at a comfortable table we shared an excellent crab cake with our cocktails. The 'Lake George Punch', was very nice. Our server, Jack, was on his game & could give lessons on on unobtrusive high quality table service with a smile and some pleasant conversation. The pulled chicken tacos and crab stuffed haddock were both excellent! Flavor, texture, doneness all top notch. We were caught up in the details of sauces, rice, and wonderful harcort verts (can't just call them a side of green beans). Unexpected in a hotel restaurant in a touristy area. All in all, with the July evening breeze blowing off the lake, a slice of lake view, and the bustling fellow visitors putting on a show just for us.... It was a very nice experience.

We were a group of 10, so walking in, I was already a little leery. Apparently, a party of 10 is enough to make you wonder if you're dining at a restaurant or applying for asylum. The servers did their jobs. Our server was actually very good. Everything came out correctly, the food that was hot was cooked properly, and there were no major service issues. There was absolutely no aggressive upselling, either. My girlfriend ordered an Old Fashioned and asked what kind of bourbon they had. He suggested Maker's Mark. She asked if they had anything else, and his response was basically, "Maker's Mark is the best." Well, there you have it. Decision made. Apparently the bourbon department consists of Maker's Mark and a very firm opinion. As for the food, it was good, but a little pricey for what you get. My steak was good. My girlfriend's lobster, however, arrived cold. I'm guessing it had been enjoying an extended vacation in the window while waiting for the steaks. Since we had already waited quite a while, she decided not to send it back. A little hot butter performed the emergency resuscitation, and surprisingly, it was fine. But honestly, the best part of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant. It was being there with family. That's what made the night enjoyable. Would I go back? Maybe if someone else is paying. I've heard there are better restaurants in the area for the money, and after this experience, I'm starting to believe the reviews might have been trying to warn us rather than simply complain.
