Stopped by here on our way to Montreal. The place was packed, we were told it was about an hour's wait as they were also short staffed. I ended putting my name down anyway, and was given a live link to see where I was in the queue. Thankfully it ended up moving really quickly and we were called back within 30 minutes. We asked to sit outside and enjoyed the views of the lake. Ordered a whole bunch of food which we thoroughly enjoyed. The stand out was the sweet chilli chicken wings. Not spicy at all, very well done!

The food & drinks were amazing, as well as the views of the lake. Our server Jason was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a hibiscus margarita this was really refreshing. The appetizer was Lobster Louis, the mango salsa was delicious. For my lunch I ordered Grilled Lime Shrimp Tacos, it actually had several pieces of shrimp in each of the tacos. We arrived around 1:30 on a Friday afternoon they were packed, we did not feel rushed to leave.

Drinks are fantastic, more of an upscale restaurant, live music is here. This restaurant does sit a little ways back from the water, you still have a view but it's not directly on. I will say, although the drinks were good, I don't think they need to charge you NYC prices for the drinks, especially because none of the surrounding upscale restaurant equivalents in LG are charging anywhere near this price.

This place is on the swankier end of restaurants. Inside it is a very cool décor, with some fun swings. We sat outside and had a great view of the lake. They have a nice menu with a few different items. I went with the steak sandwich, and it was really good. Our server was very attentive and our food came out fairly quickly. Would definitely go back.

Lighthouse Grill is a great spot with beautiful lake views. The wings were flavorful and delicious. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing perfect for a casual meal by the water.

It was decent--waiter and staff were good, nice location. I don't know that I would go back, but it was a solid choice for the general area.

Bartenders were pleasant. Place looks real nice. I had shrimp tacos and short rib tacos. Both were good 5/5

Nice atmosphere and service, but terrible food. Plus, $17 for 4 ounces of so-so wine. You are better off with a picnic on the beach.

We were pleasantly surprised with both the high food quality and friendly, efficient service. Seated outside at a comfortable table we shared an excellent crab cake with our cocktails. The 'Lake George Punch', was very nice. Our server, Jack, was on his game & could give lessons on on unobtrusive high quality table service with a smile and some pleasant conversation. The pulled chicken tacos and crab stuffed haddock were both excellent! Flavor, texture, doneness all top notch. We were caught up in the details of sauces, rice, and wonderful harcort verts (can't just call them a side of green beans). Unexpected in a hotel restaurant in a touristy area. All in all, with the July evening breeze blowing off the lake, a slice of lake view, and the bustling fellow visitors putting on a show just for us.... It was a very nice experience.

However, food came out very slow. Nachos were good and we enjoyed most of our entrees. Someone else had the rib eye which we would absolutely not recommend. Upon further review, we all felt that the food was a bit salty, but worked in a pinch when we were hungry. Overall, just okay.

If you're looking to feed a large group of people in Lake George, and you want to sit by the water,…read moreThe Lagoon is an eminently solid choice. The menu is massive, and so you should easily be able to find something for everybody...unless that person is looking for something super healthy. The Lagoon has burgers, and pizza, and lobster boats, and fish and chips, and four kinds of mac and cheese, and the appetizer list consists of all the things, fried: brussels sprouts, mozzarella wedges, wings, and more. We ordered all three of those fried things I mentioned to start, buffalo mac and cheese, a pizza, fish and chips, a cheesesteak, chicken fingers and a Greek salad. Our server was super bubbly and brought us all the sauces and drinks and everything else we asked for. It isn't going to blow you away with their culinary innovation, but The Lagoon hits a certain spot, and can seat your whole party with a view. I'd do it again.

The staff would congregate in a…read morecorner inside and someone would only venture out to the patio if there was food to deliver to a table, but you would have difficulty getting their attention even as they were walking back. Ordered was the poutine, a turkey club, and the hot buttered lobster roll. I came here for the poutine, a previous review had been very complimentary. I was underwhelmed, the gravy was thin, the cheese and tenderloin scarce. I will give the fries credit, crispy and seasoned, they were a solid base. Being so close to Canada, I'd expect better. The club was loaded up with dry turkey and not enough mayonnaise to help balance that out, but again the tots were crispy and seasoned so they were a gem, possibly the best thing here (and that's not a compliment because they're clearly a prepackaged product). The lobster in the lobster roll was chewy and dry, the roll was crispy but it was as though they had made garlic bread with a hot dog bun, then shoved some sad lobster bits in it. The coleslaw was drenched in dressing, but bland enough that I ate it for some texture and filling after being left wholly unsatisfied by my roll. All in all, I get the impression this restaurant relies solely on the lake, and their proximity to giving you a view while you eat, almost entirely to distract from a subpar performance in every other aspect of restauranting.
