My friend used this place to supply alcohol and bartender for a host bar for her daughters wedding in the Mitten Building behind it. 1. They had 3 different plans for alcohol and she choose one and the bartender didn't have the alcohol she specified and he had no idea what the plan she ordered was. 2. He was charging everybody including us which one round of Kettle One was $18 for 2 drinks. THIS IS A HOST BAR! My friend found out later and was fuming. He later did not charge...I think he was just pocketing the money. 3. Three people found glass in the drinks. I do not know where the glass was from but the bartender shrugged it off like it was no big deal 4. They ran out of Coronas. 5. It was an okay experience, but I prefer other places in downtown Redlands. We entered through the outside and I thought it was interesting that it was half outside and half inside. The bar outside said cash only so I went inside to order drinks there. I was with my boyfriend who was driving and didn't want to drink. The bartender said we could only use our card if it was a two drink minimum...what?? So I didn't end up ordering a drink because I was already buzzing and didn't want to walk around with two drinks in my hands. The bartender was pretty rude to us because I told him that my guy was driving and couldn't drink. This place is a hit or miss, and although it's full or bros, bro hos and the like, I still frequent this place. WHY? Cause it's the only place that has a dancefloor that doesn't require me driving out to fullerton or LA for. I've been here when it's super crowded and I've been here when me and my friends were the ONLY ones in the joint besides the bartender.. which is fine by me I have fun where ever I go, and I'll dance regardless if there's people on the dance floor. The bartenders are usually good, drinks are strong, they're cheap, and the guy usually gives me and my friends free shots. Plus he's a cutie face. They play hiphop most days, but I've gone here when NO ONE was here and they were playing some whack music so my friend gave them a CD with songs to play and they did...so we all danced...by our selves.. and we had a drunk good ass time. On the 23rd of march 2018 my girlfriend, myself and a group of my friends decided to bring a friend here for his birthday. The night was pretty fun here besides how long the line was for the bathroom. When they closed though that was when everything began to go down hill. We were all beimg Forced by these wannabe rent-a-cop security guards that thought they was all that because they had tasers. Our friend was ensuring members of our group made it safely to there cars when one security decided to forcefully move him. When my friend started walking away mad so he yelled at the security and thats when they started pulling tasers out, for no solid reason, and threatened to shoot my friend with it. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The boiler room was always my "go-to" spot for a $2 Tuesday until last night. I went out for my birthday and regretted it. The boiler room used to be such a great bar/place to dance and now it is by far the definition of "ratchet." 1. The line to get in was ridiculously long, come on this isn't Vegas. 2. Not one, not two but three fights broke out all before 1am. After the first fight broke out the employees made everyone evacuate. As this was happening, the additional fights broke out. There were gun shots, people running, hiding and compete chaos. There were people driving and speeding out of the parking lot driving recklessly. It was an unsafe environment for everyone and the employees did nothing for all of their customers. I am never going back to The Boiler Room again. read more

What can I say... This is the worst bar to go to. So gross and security is a joke. I was talking to a guy name Devind who is security there and he gave me something that wont go away now. The drinks are weak and all the play is ghetto music. If you like that then this is your spot. People spit on the dance floor which isn't even big If any women are reading this I would stay away from that security guard Devind unless you want to catch something. He works there on the weekends so if you need him he is there or if you want to confront him just show up. He is a good looking security but he thinks he can do whatever he wants and get away with it. Just be careful when you go there it isn't safe. Never go to the bathroom alone!!! The entrance is in an alley now that isn't safe at all. Never go to your car alone and once it is pass 2a the security kicks you out of there parking lot even when you are waiting for an uber or Lyft. Be careful especially if you are a women. I used to go here all the time before I took my brother in, but I was suddenly raising a teenager 7 years younger than myself. Now, with him out on his own and the Covid crisis subsiding, I'm 29... "Huh... well we just came from The Vault. They weren't doing it. I used to come here all the time back in the day. This is new to me." ... "You're acting weird. "... "Well, I mean... Do you want to check me again? I don't understand" ... "No but you're acting like this isn't normal".. "Well yeah! I'm just trying to comply and you're like.." ... "I'm what? huh?".... "I complied with you and you're just flexing at me" This went on for a few more exchanges before I realized I was getting agitated, but I didn't want to take the bait. I walked in, it was dead for a Saturday.. so was The Vault tonight, but I think it just disturbed me. To be felt up for a legitimate reason was weird enough.. but even more so getting frisked by a young kid flaunting her authority on people. Many of others I'm sure deal with the public the same as they do. (I used to clerk a liquor store. I get it).. but when you're just looking to escape the workday and get a drink, especially after a grueling pandemic shutdown.... It was that jarring. tl;dr.. This place is the definition of ratchet. Guys have to pay $5 and I don't even think that's worth it. You have a security guy by restroom, who was knocking on the door to tell me to hurry up, literally 30 seconds after I walked in, yet there's no security to watch the "dance floor" There was a guy FINGERING a girl in the middle of the dance floor as she was trying to pull his hand away, that's when I decided to leave and tell security, who laughed when I told him. This place is getting way too crowded nowadays and too many idiots are being let in and in turn causing too much drama. As a previous reviewer wrote, this place is full of bros and bro hos, but that is to be expected of all the nightlife in Redlands. This is the hardest bar downtown to get a drink if you're not a girl. I just don't have the breasts to get good service I guess. The bouncers often think they are some sort of important authoritative figure as if no one liked them when they were younger and now they have a little bit of rejection power. Went here for a Saturday night. All I can say is RUDE and INCONSIDERATE. The staff, especially the security, are very unwelcoming. They are clearly not trained to handle customers. By 1:30 they turned the lights on and yelled at everyone to get out. Did I forget to mention they only have one bathroom per gender? And the men's toilet was clogged. The entire aisle leading to the bathrooms was wet (back flush from the toilet aka urine). DISGUSTING. And the bouncer at the bathroom kept making unnecessary remarks about people. BTW, he was wearing this tiny bulletproof vest. I found that hilarious. Anyways, I'd avoid this place like the plague if I were you. PS. Be careful when you are leaving this spot late at night. I've gone here a couple of times with my man and his friends that grew up in Redlands. Apparently, it's a total high school reunion for them, even though they graduated 10 years ago. That's kinda sad. Maybe it's just not what I'm used to or maybe I'm too bougie but it's just super ghetto here. It's super casual almost like a back yard party. It's crazy hot inside, the drinks are tiny, and the bathroom is disgustingly dirty. I saw one girl go in the bathroom with like 5 guys...ewww! Fear for your safety too. Wow! I'm really surprised by the low ratings on this place, but whatever! I went last sunday after checking out from a wedding next door and i really enjoyed it. The drinks were cheap and strong, which is pretty much the most important thing for me when i go out. Music was cool (Top 40). But what I really liked was the huge space outside. Smokers should appreciate this. I don't smoke but i like the air; i really like drinking outdoors. Cheap, strong drinks and fresh AIR! This is a nice looking bar with an outside patio in front, a big bar, plenty of seats and a dance floor. However... it's just not my thing. The music is wack, the crowd is mixed, and there is only one bathroom (one for each gender). The bathroom line can be long, with about 10-15 people sometimes! I guess the upsides could be that the drinks are seemingly cheap (well, I've only had a Ciroc shot there which costs $8), nice area, and no cover. But with the overall vibe, it is just a weird place for me... and not my kind of deal. When it comes to DTR bars, I prefer the Vault. read more

This place probably has THE WORST bouncers ever! Saying that they were extremely rude is an understatement. They literally take the drinks from your hands and fling them to the side with no care if they hit bystanders. They also grab you, shove you and yell at your face if you're not leaving the place as fast as they want you to. They also THREATEN YOU! One bouncer was yelling at my friend that if he doesn't get going then he's gonna bring other bouncers to "take care of him". My friend was literally just waiting for another friend to catch up with the group. He wasn't drinking or yelling, just standing to the side. Super uncalled for. I should have reported it to the police but it was just so chaotic at the time. There's bouncers by the bathroom and they stopped letting people in at 1:00am!!! What kind of club closes their bathrooms so early?! Oh another thing, they won't only kick you out of the place but also out of the parking lot. My friends and I were waiting for our Uber to pick us up in the parking lot when 2 bouncers came and started pushing us out and they made us go to another lot. And, it's supposed to close at 2am but they started kicking everyone out at 1:20am. The only nice people there were the bartenders. I wish I got his name but the tall guy with a beard was very friendly and helpful with drink recommendations so props to him for being the only person there with common decency. NEVER EVER GO HERE. They play their crappy music too loud and charge way too much for their booze. Good for a local hangout if you dont want to drive far. I came with a goup of friends on a saturday. It was our first time going to the boiler room. We got there around 11pm and the place was gettin full. By 12am it was full to the max, you couldnt walk to the bar without pushing anyone. Luckily theres a bar outside on their patio but its cash only. The crowd is mix, theres a little bit of everything. I went over dressed to this place if I ever go back i would go casual. The music was good, top 40, mash ups, and little bit of everything. Drinks were cheap and strong, a major plus. Overall it was a fun place, if i go back it would be with a big group. read more
